I Am Mariah. My Favourite Mariah Songs are: The Art of Letting Go, Fantasy & Shake It Off. My Least Favourite album is Music Box. My most start-to-finish listened album (don't-skip-a-track albums): Emotions, Butterfly, The Emancipation of Mimi and Me. I Am Mariah: The Elusive Chanteuse.

Imagine if the person at Mariah's LA Pride concert [hit] Mariah in the face like it did Bebe. So apparently what I've learned from the Gen Z'ers in my life (I'm a Millennial, gotta hit up this new younger bunch for this info). Apparently it's something where the some artists will pick up the phone after it's thrown on stage and take a selfie with it and toss it back to the phone owner. Not in the case of Bebe because the dude told the police he thought it would be funny, but apparently the origin is having the artist play along and snap a selfie. Lame imo. Bebe Rexha phone through (102,919) by Matty from Vancouver Canada I heard on a podcast reviewing Mariah LA Pride Concert, that someone threw their cell phone on the stage during the Pride concert and in classic Mariah form made a joke and then kicked the phone to the side. Did you all see that Bebe Rexha had someone do the same thing at her concert and now has stitches and a black eye? Can't someone explain with this new stunt is and what the disrupters intentions are? I don't get it? The guy who hit Bebe said when he got arrested "I thought it would be funny." Why? Where is the funny part of throwing a hard object at a performer that you paid to see? I respect and love that it moves mountains for some of the lambs, but for me it's the most uninspired and basic of all the Mariah albums. It's such a snooze. Best song intro (102,779) by Matty from Vancouver Canada Fantasy is like nothing else. I think it's her most known intro to non-lambs for sure and you just know exactly the fire and heat she's about to unleash. I love the "Bounce Bounce Bounce" from Migrate is epic especially for an album opener; probably her best album opener. I'd also back the LoverBoy Firecracker intro; it's a heartbreaker that she couldn't have released that initially. Ps. Any North American's see the upcoming commercial for The Bachelorette? [They] use [Fantasy] in it, and starts with that epic intro. It's almost a best of montage Fantasy it's [an] amazing commercial and I'm not even a fan of the show. In business, some ideas stick and some don't. I don't think her business ventures are meant for the Lambs. It's not a fail, it's an "Oh well, that didn't work. On to the next." Mariah's Cookies fail (102,246) by Brad from USA It had been a minute since I last ordered Mariah's Cookies, so I thought I would order them today. To my mind, the pleasure of them wasn't just their relatively good flavors but also that they were delivered to your home and they were already warmed. Well, it seems those days are over. I used the Mariah's Cookies app to try to order for delivery in my area and delivery is no longer available. I was directed to DoorDash and I can't find them on that app either. I called the local restaurant (Bertucci's) that used to deliver them and the person indicated "yeah, technically you could come here and get them but I haven't had anyone ask for them". Bertucci's is also going out of business in my area. Clearly, something is bust with the former business model for these cookies and they haven't exactly taken off in my area (Connecticut). Have folks had different experiences than my own? For what it's worth, even though they were costly, I enjoyed them and liked the flavors and the fact that they arrived at your front door warm. Missed opportunity singles It's a Wrap (102,221) by Matty from Vancouver Canada Lambs have long lamented over missed single opportunities, Migrate being the most obvious because it entered the charts without being an official single. With the recent success of Its A Wrap, [wouldn't] it have been great if It's a Wrap was the [second single] after Obsessed? Obsessed, It's a Wrap, UOMF remix, and then finishing the singles list with Angles Cry (the always needed Mariah ballad) would have really expressed the overall album vibe perfectly. I love the beat and orchestra, it's the weak lyrics that kill me. The beat and and orchestra deserve better lyrics. But I low key love this song. I'm curious, because [our] crew (friends) was in the third row, she was making eye contact, nostrils in full flair, no miming, and heard her voice as clear as a bell (from the stage, not the speakers blasting in the nose-bleeds or though someone's cell phone speakers). All I'm hearing is negativity based on cell phone recordings when the commenters weren't present. She sounds absolutely phenomenal in her current voice. She riffed, she went off singing script while singing, she improvised, she laughed. Monroe killed it during the duet. She sang her heart out with and she sounded as good as any of her epic eras. The interpretation of this song, the video, the cloths, style and head scarf, the build up, the full belts, the whistle note, the electric guitar. This is what Rock-Riah looks and sounds like. I feel like it gets lost in the mix (no pun intended, Mix-ish) for some reason. What if this was the lead single from Charmbracelet instead of TTR?. This song makes a statement, and gives me all the tingles and feels. I’d love if Mariah did an ‘80’s style rock album like this.
