About Robert-Anthony from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Justice for Gliiter in 2024 (107,245) by Robert-Anthony from United States
This article is the reason why we need justice for Glitter. What can we do? Probably not much until Virgin stops playing hardball with MC because of her huge payout after one album. Virgin won't relinquish full masters rights to MC to allow her to re-release the soundtrack on vinyl as a RSD vinyl or in her own store. I am surprised Virgin allowed her to add the soundtrack to streaming services. Sometimes I think non Lambs don't even know how good the Glitter soundtrack is because of Virgin's hardball tactics. I wish I could have been in that executive conference room when Virgin executives agreed to drop MC and pay her so much to end her contract. Lol.

Kenny G (107,239) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Why didn't MC ever do a collaboration with Kenny G. I can't believe one never happened?

Twister (107,238) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I knew my video treatment would be taken the wrong way if I didn't fully go detail about video treatment. Twister was a hair stylist. I was thinking MC would be a hairstylist at a hair salon with all of Twister's co-workers. They are all watching a video that Twister made for them about all of the good times that had as friends. Scenes go back and forth with MC and the ladies watching the Twister's video and MC closing up the hair salon reminiscing and singing about Twister until she covers up Twister's chair with a gold and silver cover for the last time. MC's man knocks on the door to pick her up. She opens the door and an Edward look-a-like fine sexy man stands at the door. He says "Babe, are you ready to leave?" MC closes and locks up the hair salon. The last scene we see is the name of shop bearing Twister's name.

Twister (107,235) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Great post. I think about Twister all of the time. MC's voice is so strong on this gem. The first line is MC at her best with writing thought provoking lyrics. "She was kind of fragile." "And she had a lot to grapple with." I have always imagined MC styling someone hair singing Twister in a video.

Migrate (107,230) by Robert-Anthony from United States
E=MC2 is probably one of MC's best albums to be remixed and reimagined by New York DJ John Morales. He is really good at taking an artist's songs and turning them into something different. Check out his remixed songs by Marvin Gay, Teena Marie, Teddy Pendergrass and this dancefloor jam.

Migrate (107,223) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Maybe if a high school cheerleading squad or a couple of high school besties created a football jamboree or homecoming dance routine to an instrumental track, then it would go viral. The lyrics are kind of outdated now singing about getting ready to go to the club and being at the club. No one sings or raps about being at club now. Probably one of MC's most missed opportunities for a number one song. It really makes me wonder if L.A. Reid was really running Def Jam in 2008. He just lacked the same enthusiasm for E=MC2 that he had for TEOM.

Just a Merry Christmas thought (107,219) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Do you think a Merry Christmas duets album could be one of MC's surprises to celebrate the anniversary? She could use her original vocals and just have other artists sing on the songs. I think it could work and make the album sell huge this holiday season. It could feature Post Malone, Brandy, Trey Songz, Kelly Clarkson, The Clark Sisters, Charlie Wilson, and Chris Brown. Just a thought this Sunday. I trust MC is going to celebrate the anniversary in a huge way.

Surprise collaboration (107,218) by Robert-Anthony from United States
What do the Lambs think about the Bruno Mars' and Lady Gaga's surprise duet, Die With Smile? I like it. I think the two sound good together.

MC talks about a Whitney deep cut (107,208) by Robert-Anthony from United States
This is one of MC's favorite Whitney songs. She called it a "deep cut" in an interview that nobody talks about. MC has never mentioned Kashif before. I definitely hear Whitney's influence on There's Got To Be A Way and Someday. I wonder what a MC and Kashif duet would have sounded like in the 90s.

Revisiting MIAMTEC and Caution (107,200) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Did you know that QTip's version of Meteorite was changed by MC to the version that made it onto the album? MC said in an interview that he was mad at her for doing that. I would love to hear his version.

Gospel or Jazz album before MC16 (107,195) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I feel bad now about bringing up Maren Morris. When I see another artist give a great interview or make a significant change in their life, it is so hard for me not think that I am MC's life coach or manager.

Article: Mariah Carey worries fans after "crying" on stage (107,194) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Do you think MC is just lonely? I bet she misses being attached to a man. When you don't have a significant other to dine out or cook or shop with, it can cause a feeling of loneliness. After breaking up with Tanaka, it is probably the longest time she hasn't had a significant other in her life. We have to admit she appeared much happier when she was with Tanaka. Her interviews were good. She smiled more when out in public with Tanaka. MC just geniunely seemed to happier 2 years ago. Now she seems to be so sad and disconnected from the audience, her band, and her singers on a stage she commanded with confidence 2 years ago. I am no Dr. Phil by all means. Just my opinion from my own experience.

Much ado about nothing (107,174) by Robert-Anthony from United States
MC is definitely going through something. I feel she is back in that overworking herself mode that happened in 2000-2001. Why is she doing so many Vegas shows and not focusing on releasing new music? I understand the Christmas shows, but doing the Vegas shows are kind of unnecessary right now.

Gospel or Jazz album before MC16 (107,172) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Maybe MC should release a gospel or jazz album first instead of MC16. I was just thinking a gospel or jazz would catch the world off guard. It could garner MC lots of praises for stepping into a new genre with a full album. I believe she could pull off both a gospel or jazz album effortlessly even with her current voice. Maren Morris gave me this idea. Maren said goodbye to country music, put her personal life on forefront, and released an EP this week called Intermission. Now the media is talking about her again for her personal life (she came out as being bisexual) and leaving country music to go pop. Maren gave a great ABC Nightline interview yesterday. MC should follow in Maren's footsteps with a high profile interview and full album in a new genre.

Confused (107,164) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I am sure these Vegas shows have been tough for her to do this summer and do other things she needs to do. And being single probably hasn't been fun this summer either. Saturday is her last show for Vegas until January. I hope MC can get some rest until October when the rehearsals for the Christmas shows begin.

Return to roots (107,153) by Robert-Anthony from United States
There seems to be a tug of war going on among the Lambs on the board. We have 90s Mariah on one side and TEOM onward Mariah on the other side. I am on the 90s Mariah side. I miss MC singing the big ballads with brillant and vivid lyrics. TEOM onward Mariah had lyrics that really lacked substance with lots of pop culture language and hip hop street slang in most of her songs. Why doesn't MC give us lyrics with advanced vocabulary words anymore? Butterfly lyrics anyone to take us back to the good ole days?

New interview (107,151) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I like when MC gives interviews especially when she mentions projects she is working on. However, why is it taking her so long to release any work of art that is new? What happened to Michaela Angela Davis and Lee Daniels helping MC turn her memoir into a limited tv series (2021-2022)? Now we hear from MC during this interview about creating a musical. (2024) Where is the Butterfly Lounge album? (2022) Where is the themed album? (2022) Where is the collaboration with Millie Bobby Brown? (2022) Where is the project that she said fans have been asking for her to do? (2023)

Do you see the point that I am making? That is seven projects including MC16 that have yet to see the light day since 2021.

Return to roots (107,137) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I was referring to singers who have albums or singles out right now like Kehlani, Coco Jones, Sza, Remi Wolf and Sabrina Carpener. The female singers you mentioned probably could make MC take some time off if they ever hit the stage together. Your singers have preserved their voices better than MC. I just want MC to sing and not worry about hitting high notes and using her whistle register during live performances and on her new songs.

Return to roots (107,129) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I am hopeful MC does go back to her roots on MC16. It would be nice for her to have a pop ballad that goes #1 on the Hot 100, is used in a commercial, and wins a Grammy for Song of the Year. If she just gives us that one last raw organic pop performance like If It's Over, then we all would be happy. Who cares about her current vocal state at this point? She can stll sing better than any current female artist right now.
