About Warren from Trinidad & Tobago: I am a fan since early VOL days and being from the Caribbean, far south close to south America, access to music and information was always so difficult. LOVE MC's music all these years and feel like she has only gotten better. I have been able to see her twice and they have been fantastic experiences.

Well said.

I know this doesn't exactly count as viral, but clearly word is getting around about this. Yesterday it was at 80k. I love the upward trend of MC in latter 2015.

Hello Alain, this is how I had to see it as we do not get that channel in my country, as I suspect you don't in yours either. Enjoy. Merry Christmas.

WOW - what an article (58,673) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
Webmaster Eric you better find me a volunteer position. This article is simply the best thing I have read all season, it shows a real understanding, if not always agreement with what MC is doing or trying to do and has done. The most significant thing in for me is "This is to say that she's also a genius. Who knows where Taylor Swift and Rihanna will be in 20 years? If they need it, though, Ms. Carey is devising a road map for the future. Her popularity may rise, spectacularly crash, then rise again, as may the quality of her artistry. But she's lasted." Enjoy Lambs.

Re: Must watch lamb video (58,640) (58,645) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
So I just looked at the video and was blown away by the (for me) never before heard MB and MC duet. Went straight to the YouTube home page and couldn't find it, and then to Google. Could this be from it? I would love to hear that whole thing.

I love this website, the discourse gets a bit technical for me and searching through older posts is tedious, but just type in a particular performance in Google and the direct link should appear. At least people are getting the memo about the vocal improvements.

Re: Mariah Christmas (58,594) (58,606) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
Hi Andrew, unlike others who try to say they don't read your posts, I do read all of them, and though you may come across as harsh, you're not exactly wrong about what you say. Maybe it is the cliche not what you say but how you say it. I don't know. However, I have always been afraid to have my throat ripped out by you so I never commented or responded to any of your posts, but I do have a question. Like everyone else, I was impressed with the Merriest Christmas special. With regards to God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, which to me was the most spectacular vocal of the show, how do you really know if its lipped? (serious question) That would mean its been re-recorded and then lipsynced, and we all know she can't lip effectively, hence always getting caught when she does. There was a change of delivery and a run on the word "to" (from 0.40-0.48 here) that seemed so darn live and awesome to me. What am I missing?

Re: Mariah's new style (58,568) (58,605) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
I completely agree. The gold print dresses in the Christmas specials were so beautiful (dem boobies covered but she still was totally sexy and confident).

Re: Buying a ticket (58,496) (58,520) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
I've seen her on my own already and it's just not the same as with company, especially similar minded company. There is just so much to appreciate with the ad-libs etc that a casual listener may just be oblivious to. I'm sure you will be able to find a fellow lamb to meet up and possibly get a seat close or next to.

Re: Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade (57,617) (57,627) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
B, I am from the Caribbean so I don't know, hence my asking, but are Christmas songs part of the Thanksgiving celebrations in the US? I have never seen the parade on tv so I don't know what exactly it entails.

Re: Adele and Macau (57,553) (57,561) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
Took the words right out of my mouth. I shouldn't be so nervous when she is on American TV (no offense to anywhere else) where it matters. MC needs another viral moment like the AIWFCIY on Jimmy Fallon this year.

B, did you also pick up the line from Cookie "Ain't nothing wrong with a couple of JLo's, as long they can really sing"?

Don't Stop (56,609) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
Just randomly watched and listened to this. Wouldnt this be such an instant hit today? Sounds so current. Has the rap, but still so vocal and melodic and actually danceable. I am in love all over again.

Re: E=MC2 vs. Memoirs (56,565) (56,574) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
E=MC2 is probably one of my fave MC albums ever. One of the first times I never skipped a track or two when listening. I can listen to that album from beginning to end comfortably. I love the flow and the song sequencing is the best she's ever done.

Re: Dr. Scott Kessler (56,462) (56,469) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
I totally agree, however I looked at a documentary on YouTube regarding Celine's residency and world tour and even with her children she uses little cards, or acknowledgments without speaking - actually taking her vocal rest, without her parenting being compromised, at least from my outside perspective. All Mariah needs is one show-stopping performance that not only us, but the world sees on a big stage and I will be happy. Silence those haters. Let Nick have the kids for a week or so. Lol.

Manny - random memory (56,280) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
A fan since VOL premiered, and upon hearing she was doing Merry Christmas (pre-internet days here in the Caribbean), I imagined her singing Oh Holy Night and slipping in one high note somewhere in that killer ending. Upon finally getting the cassette (yes cassette) and seeing it on the tracklist, I tried my best not to skip forward to my fave Christmas song ever. When it came to it, and then that last chorus, and of course the high note, I just couldn't believe it, and felt like it was just for me. It remains the one time in my life a tear came to my eye from music - I am not a crier, though I should be given the amount of nonsense I have had to deal with. On a side note can she announce Beacon already? I want to book my ticket and airfare and hotel and the rest of my holiday.

Not a fan of either of these girls but... (55,634) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
I find it very wacky and cool and wish that MC would do something like this again. The closest she came was with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots on AIWFCIY. Something like that alone now would be so cool and so welcome, with a female, Gaga or Katy perhaps since they've shown support. On a side note, I didn't know Miley's tone was that rich. I kinda like it and think she actually sounds better than the other girl.

I loved this interview yet again. I think #5 and #20 are quite important. What do the rest of you guys think?

For the record (53,621) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago
I think it's all a move by L. A Reid despite how some media outlets are twisting it. I totally love the new way she is handling interviews, be it print or TV and I see a long term plan in place, not to get #1 now or with Infinity. Re-branding takes time, especially in a fickle industry like the music industry. One final note, does anyone remember Believe? #1 in 23 countries re-establishing Cher at age 52. Right song, right time, right promotion and it can happen. I am not worried. Even if there are no more #1's as long as MC releases good music and performs well I am totally happy, and we all (real lambs) should be too.
