Re: Mimi and Remy (73,934) (73,941) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Nicki and Eminem collaborated in 2010, a good couple of years before her "feud" with Mariah. Rihanna, who Mariah still praises worked with Eminem too, so what's your point? I mean had Nicki gotten with Eminem on a shady track after her fight with Mariah, it would have been a different story, where it could have been made to look like Nicki is teaming up with Eminem to bash Mariah. But that's not the case, if anything it was a diss track for Li'l Kim. Mariah herself has acknowledged that she thinks Eminem is a talented guy, so it's not surprising that Nicki, who was a relatively new rapper at that time, would want to collaborate. This is in no way the same as Mariah suddenly dropping a random track with Remy (which sounds amateurish as heck production wise) during a time when this whole feud is hot news and both Mariah and Remy have history with Nicki and now they team up suddenly on this half baked song. Like they wanted to cash in on this so fast that they didn't even get the time to write a darn new song to release? Come on now. (Saturday 25 March 2017; 00:15)

Her remixes for Memoirs like "Inseparable" and "Ribbon" were cut and paste jobs but they blended in well, they added to the songs and didn't seem pointless. The remixes actually sounded like collaborations, a duet, a back and forth. This one just sounds like they abruptly stop the song mid way, Remy does her verse and then the song abruptly starts again and the verse adds nothing to the song at all. Like I said in a previous post, literally sounds like Mishka used a free online software to just put in a sound clip phoned in by Remy and then released it. (Friday 24 March 2017; 20:59)

Pre 2015 Mariah would shudder at the thought of this being passed off as a remix. Even WYM is a gem compared to this (WYM wasn't all that bad, just too many features) since at least she bothered to change things up and re-record her vocals. This is by far the most embarrassing stunt pulled by Mariah since now there is no doubt she wanted to dive into the Nicki drama. No one can tell me this was just an artistic decision, because where is the art though? (Friday 24 March 2017; 20:55)

I loved the dress too but the only problem is her Areola Grandes are on full display but she might not have known that and it could have been as a result of the bright flashes. Re: I Don't no-mix (73,900) (73,910) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter It's funny that the same fans who argue that "Mariah doesn't really care about the charts, she just releases songs as a favor for her fans" whenever a song flops are also ones that come up with excuses like "oh she didn't bother reworking the song because it would be counted as a separate song". If she doesn't care about charts then why would it stop her from creating a great remix which sounds different? At what point do the excuses stop? This message may look harsh but I only write this because I know Mariah is beyond crappy excuses and she is capable of making the best remixes. Her back catalogue speaks for itself. Some of her remixes her even better than the original versions. I'm not here for reality star Mariah Carey. I am a fan first and foremost of songstress and songwriter/producer Carey, can we get that title back when she's named in articles because now all we get is "reality star Mariah Carey spotted hanging out with blah blah". The whole promo video she posted on her Instagram for this collaboration is also juvenile and embarrassing. What does Remy add to this track really? I'd say TI's rap on WYM makes more sense than Remy's here, and that says a lot because I thought TI was the most unnecessary addition to WYM (no hate towards TI but that song already had too many features). Also let's not forget that the MC reference in "Shether" is nothing to be proud about because it basically translates to M not being the type who can stand up to Remy, "cause Mariah don't Carey" basically a play on not carrying a gun. Same with how she said Taylor Swift isn't swift enough to stand up for herself. That's not to say that Remy doesn't respect Mariah, I'm sure she does but this song wasn't exactly something for Mariah to be proud about being associated with. Then to allow Remy to use Mariah's voice on a diss track that doesn't involve her, what is Mariah thinking? Also Mariah should keep an eye out on Stella. Stella has worked with Minaj before (and not as a manager, Nicki isn't that naive) as part of her not so acclaimed reality show, and now she urges Mariah to diss Nicki and engage in silly feuds to look desperate, when Stella is fired, she'll not really sing praises about Mariah either. So I'm not concerned about that, but I hope it's not uninspired and lazy and half though out. I really miss Mariah's drive to push a project properly and to give it her all. She is taking up so many random projects left and right, and then she doesn't have much time left so she ends up not pushing any of her projects properly and they all seem to come out half done. Unless there is any financial crisis, I really wish she'd take on less projects and prioritize quality over quantity. But there must be some financial situation involved because Stella said straight up that she was hired to make Mariah more money. So that explains her taking up all the crappy stuff. Mariah has love for a lot of artists and they love her right back but did they all collaborate? Nope. This collaboration happened only because they wanted people to talk about the feud. Mariah's voice was featured on the second Nicki diss track and of course Remy would need Mariah's approval to use her voice. And that song got falsely promoted as a "Remy featuring Mariah" moment. You can't tell me it's a coincidence that they just happened to collaborate out of the blue. (Friday 24 March 2017; 00:03)

Mariah and Remy Ma Remix, and that Busta collab (73,882) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter While y'all are having melt downs over what happened in late 90s, Mariah has released a remix with Remy Ma for "I Don't". I honestly don't get why after so long, anyways here is the link to it. Nothing new and it's just another "copy and paste" moment. I honestly wonder what happened to the "queen of remixes" Mariah. She used to come up with fire remixes and now we only get cut and paste collaborations. They probably wanted to cash in on the Nicki feud, but it was pointless. More news, Mariah's track with Busta will be out next week. Those who heard it say it's a "whisper fest", which doesn't bother me, but let's see. (Thursday 23 March 2017; 19:25)

But in all seriousness though, Mariah and Celine are both great singers, let's not pit them against each other, we'll reserve the pitchforks and torches for those who try to shade Mariah and Celine has been nothing but sweet to Mariah, even sending her flowers to welcome her to Vegas. And I'm not blaming you for pitting them against each other, I'm just seeing a lot of arguments regarding this for the last few days. We love Celine (even though I don't know any of her songs apart from the sinking ship song), she's a sweetheart and I have only recently come across some of her recent interviews and she has a good sense of humor. Article: Mariah and Nick did not argue at Kids' Choice Awards (73,672) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Most of the stories that are being "debunked" are ones I have not even heard about before they were "debunked". Like I think the all the recent stories in which we got Stella's response and all like "Mariah supposedly feuding with Joe Jonas" (out of all people), "Mariah is marrying Tanaka", "Mariah did not have sex at a restaurant toilet" are stories that I never came across until Gossip Cop "debunked" it with quotes from Stella. No one was even talking about these, not even Wendy haha, so why even bother responding? The only one that was worth responding to was the "Mariah is getting dropped by the label" one (if only Stella could stop being trashy for one and act like an educated professional). I don't get why she's responding to these weird stories that people never even heard about. (Wednesday 15 March 2017; 19:15)

If yes, this is the only time I am glad they abandoned a Mariah project haha, that thing was so cheap for Mariah's brand.
