Re: "Pisces" - Trey Lorenz feat. Mariah (77,821) (77,829) by B from USA
Mariah is the best background singer ever.

Re: MC/Santana collaboration (77,824) (77,828) by B from USA
No, because Mariah Carey can sing and she's also a writer and producer.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey is performing with "no f---s given" (77,808) (77,817) by B from USA
She's given lackluster performances in the past but she's more than redeemed herself with her Vegas residency, Sweet Sweet Fantasy world tour, and her stateside All The Hits tour with Lionel. Besides she's human and is entitled to having a bad day here and there.

The only thing he said that I agree with is that her team isn't helping. I pray that seeing how smoothly Lionel's team functions has shown her how incompetent her "team" is. I use the word team lightly because let's face it Stella isn't Mariah's manager she's her handler. She's a leech.

Re: The Mariah Carey way (77,806) (77,810) by B from USA
Agreed. Mariah isn't a dancer. People go to a Mariah concert to see (hear) her sing. Besides everyone, Mariah included, knows she can't dance. He's just jealous that he's not Mariah's boy toy.

Santana (77,809) by B from USA
Mariah should write a song with Carlos Santana for her new album. They know each other, they even appeared in a Macy advertisement together. An epic ballad like My All or a summery uptempo like The Game Of Love.

Re: Longest weeks at #1? (77,761) (77,763) by B from USA
I guess technically she would. How many weeks has this song spent at #1? I'm not worried about Rhianna breaking Mariah's record. The dominance of the Hot 100 has been waning and I think her next release with face a fate similarly to Katy's latest album and its singles. Mariah wasn't a featured artist on any of her #1's, she was the lead artist so even if Rhianna does tie or break her record Mariah will still be the female artist with the most #1's as the lead artist.

Re: Despacito | Most-viewed YouTube video of all time (77,756) (77,762) by B from USA
Mariah will always remain the female songwriter with the most #1's on the Hot 100, the first female artist to debut a single at #1 on the Hot 100, the first female artist to have the #1 and #2 singles on the Hot 100, and the artist with the most weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 (79). I don't think this song will break Mariah's 16 week record. I think it will tie We Belong Together and the others at 14 weeks. It might spend 15 but I doubt it.

I purchase one copy of a single unless there is also a maxi version of it.

I wouldn't want them to attempt to relive the splendor of #Beautiful. Miguel is a fan. He knows what works for her. I think he would be an excellent cowriter for her.

Re: Mimi's hair (77,708) (77,729) by B from USA
I think she's wearing (using, lol) extensions. I said she was using hair extensions.
hair extension
noun; a synthetic swatch of hair that is attached to make a longer, fuller, or different hairstyle

Re: Miguel (77,714) (77,723) by B from USA
I knew. #Beautiful was successful because Mariah and Miguel work. The song is a classic Carey song. It sounds like it could have been written during the Daydream era. More importantly despite not taking the lead until a minute and a half into the song when she does she owns it. I love when she sings makes me feel undressable. She can do it again. All she has to do to update her signature sound is work with new writers and producers while staying true to how she is lyrically. I hope and pray she works with Miguel and Happy Perez on several of the songs on her new album. Miguel knows how to steer her in the right direction. #Beautiful deserved to be her 19th #1 and the song of the summer.

The only man she's ever been with is her husband. She loved him. Yes, Celine does. She needs to live the single life for awhile.

Billboard (77,698) by B from USA
I loved reading Billboard's rave review of Mariah and Lionel's tour (stop on their tour). Mariah is sounding amazing and she's reconnecting with her stateside fans and endearing herself to Lionel's fans. This is amazing. Her residency, Sweet Sweet Fantasy world tour, and her American All The Hits tour with Lionel have all been well received and successful according to critics and fans. She just might be able to make a comeback if she keeps this up and delivers an amazing album.

Re: Mariah was banned from playing Scrabble (77,608) (77,618) by B from USA
My seventh grade English teacher told me emblazoned wasn't a word so I looked it up in the dictionary and proved it was to her. I've read and watched several of Walter's interviews in which he said Mariah made up words or whatever he said. He made a fool of himself trying to throw shade at Mariah. Suprised she hasn't tweeted a picture of the definition.

Re: Fat shaming (77,592) (77,601) by B from USA
Mariah isn't fat. Yes, she's thicker now than she was a year ago but she's admitted several times that she's struggled with losing weight and keeping it off since she gave birth. Lets not pretend her weight hasn't always yoyoed.

Re: Anaheim (77,595) (77,600) by B from USA
I also feel this tour has inspired her. I think it's shown her why people loved her in the first place and how a team is supposed to function.
