Crafting a whole reality show to set up an alternative explanation of what happened to her relationship when the whole world already knew the truth, pushing this "Tanaka is my soul mate" crap too hard (maybe because Packer disliked him) and saying "oh I know him for so long, there's a connection that you can't have with everybody" and how he's her bestie, when she herself stated in the beginning of the show that she hasn't seen him since TAOM. Also back then M never hung out with her dancers, which was also confirmed when Anthony said that the first time he performed with MC, he only saw her for the first time when they had to hit the stage. Now she has the whole "ring drop" scene and then wearing the ring on her middle finger for the music video, almost falling off her hand. All of these are just extra. (Thursday 2 February 2017; 4:25)

Credibility (71,933) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter It's really sad how Mariah basically ruined her own credibility in the last 2 years. Before that I don't think anyone would question her account of what Tommy did. Now, even if she was saying the truth, people will always think maybe it's not the complete truth because of all the mess she and her team created around her image. From fake story lines to fake boy toys, only M and her team are to be blamed for people suddenly questioning her. It also doesn't help that she has been completely swallowed by her diva persona, something she previously said that she is in on, now it seems like it's not just an act but it has slowly taken over her. I wish this reality show in particular never took place, it's possibly something (among other things) that has created a huge dent in her credibility. Never in my life did I think I would have to wonder why Mariah Carey, a singer with genuine talent and well deserved fame, would feel the need to go on a publicity stunt over drive. It's like she can't stop the drama, one drama after another is lined up. (Thursday 2 February 2017; 2:39)

Promotion for the single (71,922) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I hope they have a string of promotional appearances lined up right after the single releases and this should include live performances on the shows. They are doing a good job with releasing little teasers everyday, until the release, maybe next they can release a small sneak peak of the video like they did during the #Beautiful promotions. Then once the song drops, Mariah should go on some important shows and perform it live. Also they should try to get her on some of the award shows. (Wednesday 1 February 2017; 18:01)

(71,909) (71,917) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Haha this, whether James is nice or not, he has quietly moved on and all the allegations they threw at him (him getting hostile with Mariah's assistant, James being unstable, James not being there enough) the only thing we got from James' side was a polite decline to comment or just a "it's not true". Whereas from Mariah's side, Stella can't seem to stop with the drama. They can't seem to let go of it and suddenly everything is centered around this break up. Even her break up from her partner and husband of so many years (Cannon) didn't get 1/4th the publicity that this one is getting. Like Ribbon said, first there was the "I fired Cindi", "I let go of my old staff", now "I dumped James" and all these. Then we hear she cancelled the South American tour because of problems with the promoters, but just days later they leak stories that Mariah was heart broken from James calling off their engagement so she wasn't emotionally ready. Then with the NYE-Anthony drama. Facts are not adding up, they are serving different versions of the same story and it's doing no favor to Mariah's image. The classier move would have been to just move on. Now we get the "this song is about Packer" promotion whereas even when M broke up from Nick and songs like "Camouflage" and "Faded" surfaced, she always maintained that these songs have open meanings and are not necessarily about a certain person. I think she went as far as to say that she wrote sad songs even when she was with Nick, but they were happy and all so it's just an artistic outlet. But now this song is being promoted as a diss/break up song especially for Packer. It's really getting immature and petty. There is no need for the drama. (Wednesday 1 February 2017; 16:54)

Like The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Zayn Malik (who has recently called Mariah one of his musical inspirations) and other current artists. So far we know she has collaborated with Travis Scott and DJ Khaled on a track but that is likely to be on Khaled's album. I didn't hear Khaled's new material but I heard it's good so that's nice. As much as I love JD and MC together, I think her new singles should be with new collaborators, just to stir things up. I also think she shouldn't bother trying to recreate WBT because anything else will never match up to the strength of that song so instead she should just give that up and work on creating a new sound. She had a break through song mid 90s with "Fantasy", then in mid 2000s she comes out with WBT, in the mid 2010s she should get another fresh sound and if anyone can reinvent it's definitely Mariah. But for that she needs to be inspired and I feel like with her taking up so many gigs she isn't getting much time to write songs. Which is sad because I'm always hungry for new MC music. Anyways I really hope she indeed means it when she says that she is working on "long awaited" collaborations and some people her fans have been wanting her to work with. I'm excited for the new music era. Who knows she might surprise us with a new album sooner than we expected. (Wednesday 1 February 2017; 15:00)

I'll try to be positive and hope that the video is better than the last few we got and has a story line or at least makes sense. The third visual though, what in BDSM mess is that? Haha, but this is the most outfit changes we've seen her have in a video since TEOM days, so maybe that's a good sign that there will be several different scenes instead of just one painfully drawn out scene like YME (her sitting on that darn chair in the gorgeous rain forest covering her boobs and looking uncomfortable) and #Beautiful (the explicit version where they just keep showing the scenes of her in the yellow dress and not the inter cut bike scenes).The song, the more I listen to the snippet, the more I'm warming up to it, so I'm excited to hear the full final version because even the snippet we heard may not have been the final cut. I don't know if I should be happy that this actually looks like they spent some money on the video because we got 3 different looks already, or should I be scared that the next promo will be in the nude dahlin'. I wish her mouth was closed though haha, it's a little awkward. But I can live with it. YG looks hot tamale. She's wearing wedding night lingerie though so I gotta prepare myself for some awkward drama but I really hope they have a good storyline and not just a mess montage of her touching herself and giving bedroom eyes to the camera. This isn't new though, she has been saying this in almost all interviews that she has worked with some people that fans have been asking her to collaborate with but won't reveal it because she doesn't want the concept stolen. We'll know tonight if for the second day countdown she uses a different picture. This might now be the final cover. As for the ring, the woman really needs to take it off and turn it into another piece of jewellery, like a pendant or something. It's so ridiculous that she's wearing this after claiming how much pain James caused her and then taking it off in the preview clip and now wearing it again. (Tuesday 31 January 2017; 16:09)

New song (71,841) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Although the new song sounds promising (I don't know whether I like it yet), but I really wished that she'd release a more upbeat, fun song with a catchy chorus. Something like maybe "Heartbreaker" and all. A feel good, fun song, that people can have a good time to. She could have gone for a big ballad second. (Tuesday 31 January 2017; 2:19)

RibbonB (71,810) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Did you notice how M was wearing the same dress in Hawaii that she was also supposedly wearing when at the beginning of the season Bryan came to her room, the whole secret handshake scene? And even back then we knew this was definitely shot in Hawaii and edited to make it look like it happen during the SSFT. Not only was she wearing the same dress (which can be a coincidence since she does repeat clothes) but her hair, makeup, shoes, everything was exactly the same, no change at all, so now it's confirmed (even though there was no doubt to begin with) that this scene was added in later to promote the "Manaka" story line. I don't have the patience or willingness to go back and watch the previous episodes to see what other blatantly obvious re-shoots were included (there were many though, in fact I feel like about half the scenes were re-shoots). This just is annoying because this is supposed to be a "documentary of the tour" yet it's full of staged moments and yet Mariah basically rolls her eyes and get angry when people say it's a reality show. Kidding kidding, we love Edward, he's the best. Edward I can't with your crazy story lines. Don't give ideas to Stella, I swear I'll hunt you down if you speak this into existence. Is it bad that I kinda would actually love to see this play out haha, this sounds more interesting and well thought out and consistent than Season 1, which was an edit room mess with all the random montages and disregard for timeline or truth. Some of the annoying "dance scenes" (71,808) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Licia, I dug these up especially for you haha, this is part 1 of the beach scene, you can see them doing the awkward dance. This is the kissing moment (which was repeated 3 times.). This is them dancing at the gazebo. Ok so this scene here is a scene from the previous episode, where M keeps throwing herself at Tanaka on the bus, this is the continuation. Finally we have the M fixing Tanaka's hair moment. Ok so I was looking for the scenes of Nick and the kids to post, but I couldn't find them, if I do, I'll definitely get them for those who want to see those without having to watch the whole episodes. Re: MW episode 8 : Mimi L review (71,796) (71,806) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter While that is true, it was pretty much confirmed that whatever happened was between James and M's employee, not Mariah herself. It's confirmed because it was sent to TMZ and TMZ gets "leaks" directly from Stella. Setting that aside, this isn't the only questionable thing though. They changed a lot of things, which they themselves have confirmed (some even on the show) before. For example in the beginning of the show it's shown that Stella asks Mariah to postpone the wedding and Mariah agrees, James was upset about that but he tells M to figure it out and agrees to wait. But this episode Stella says that James pushed back the first wedding date. Then it was pretty much confirmed that James left Mariah (various reasons came up, none of which were confirmed) but in the show, by the end, they show that Mariah has a change of heart and decides she can't be with James because he's not a good guy, so she called off the wedding. The song that she's promoting by saying it's about her break up from James, doesn't even sound like it's about James. Yet they are pushing it as a stunt. So there is a lot of shady business going on. Re: MW finale plot twist? (71,800) (71,804) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter It gets really hard to defend Mariah when she herself is sabotaging her image and career. Around the end of the show I think she says something about she hopes people will understand why she did what she had to do or that people won't understand. But then how can you expect people to understand when you, yourself, have been showing people how you have been in flirting and semi cheating on your fiance all throughout the show and partying with her crew but whenever James comes, she's suddenly too busy to give him any time. Even if we ignore whatever was shown on MW, let's just take into account all the snap chat videos we saw of Bryan and Tanaka getting cozy and him wearing her robe and all that crap, had the table been turned, how would she react to see James grabbing and groping at his female employees and making them sit on his lap and then putting up pictures of said female employee in his night robes? Even until the last part, in the gazebo when M and Tanaka were talking and she said she's upset but she thinks he has his "own set of issues" with her, I thought, maybe finally she'll turn it around and say that "look I know you probably like me in a way, but sorry, I don't like you like that, I like you as my friend". I was really hoping for that but then she goes and does those fake kissing scenes, which we now know was shot over a two day period, day 1 was the sunset scenes, where she has her hair and makeup done and those close up were shot and day 2 is when they took long distance photos and her makeup wasn't done and those pictures got leaked. Both of them were wearing the same outfit to make it look like it was the same day and yet we are supposed to believe this staged 2 day event is reality. (Monday 30 January 2017; 16:56)
