About Bill from the UK: I love Mariah more than you do.

London Daydream Tour Attendee.

Re: First impressions of TEOM (82,443) (82,444) by Bill from the UK
To the Floor is, by far, the best song on the album.

I don't consider Twister an interlude. For me, it needs to be stated as such on the record.

Re: My thoughts on Stella (82,416) (82,422) by Bill from the UK
Agreed, and she has completely shot herself in the foot with her behaviour since her and Mariah parted ways. What artist of Mariah's standing (or any standing for that matter) would ever take her on as their manager after all of this? I get why she's suing everything that moves, it's likely her only source of income now.

Re: First impressions of TEOM (82,403) (82,406) by Bill from the UK
Wasn't it only Rainbow that had interludes, and two of them at that? Memoirs then had them. Maybe I'm forgetting in my old age. Janet has them as every other song virtually. I remember when Say Somethin' leaked and I was somewhat underwhelmed as it felt like an extension of Charmbracelet. Then To the Floor leaked (but as "Tonight"), and I felt it was great, but not single material. Finally when I heard It's Like That, sang in full voice with a clever lyric and reference to Run DMC I thought she was onto a winner. Can't believe it didn't do better than it did stateside. Then I heard the rest of the album and knew she was back and would have success. Didn't quite predict WBT's extended run at the top, but what a vindication if ever one was needed.

Re: Memoirs (82,381) (82,384) by Bill from the UK
It's not an album I make a bee line for usually, although when I do listen to it I realise I like every song on the album. Same goes with E=MC2. I also appreciate the one producer cohesiveness it offers. Ribbon, Betcha Gon' Know, HATE U, IWTKWLI, It's a Wrap are all excellent songs.

The debut album (82,382) by Bill from the UK
I'm interested to know, so please "like" if you've listened to the debut album this week. Still one of her best and one that's on constant rotation all these years later.

Err excuse me Will, we're in the middle of talking about Janet Jackson and Christina Aguilera's new song.

Re: Meet and Greet - wait 2 hours for 20 seconds (82,332) (82,333) by Bill from the UK
I agree. I was about to write it should be done as a lottery that you choose to enter when you buy the tickets - even making it exclusive for fan club members, seeing as they're already paying a premium for a key ring and a pink notebook.

Re: Accelerate (82,322) (82,329) by Bill from the UK
100%. I really miss the days when a song charted because it was well composed and the singer gave a great interpretation. The 90s was brilliant because it was like every genre could peacefully co-exist. You had the big voiced divas like Mariah, Whitney and Celine. You had dance outfits, grunge acts, indie bands, and legendary artists from the 60s and 70s still able to chart and perform well. I'm not sure when it all started falling apart but it was some time in the early 2000s. If you have to make the v-sign with your fingers and stick your glitter encrusted tongue in between it to sell a record, then take me to the King.

Re: Accelerate (82,316) (82,317) by Bill from the UK
I watched the video out of curiosity. Is she channeling Myley Cyrus? What a mess.

Hi Kerry, I used to love your website, what a shame it is closing. You have a great collection, all the best with it going to a loving and appreciative home.

You misspelt "Migrate".

Re: The Butterfly lands (82,262) (82,266) by Bill from the UK
What I'd love from this Vegas tour is rather than Mariah hocking her old hits for the 100th time, is for her to sing the Butterfly album end to end. Can you imagine how great that would be for the fans? It could be in celebration of what she considers her best piece of work's anniversary. It was lauded by critics and fans and I don't think she ever really topped it. She could pepper it with some alternative versions like the Stay Awhile remix of My All and then hoist Da Brat out for the Honey remix. Helicopter, stilettos, and jet ski in tow.

I agree, the shoot and title are brilliant. I really hope this is well received and yes, I'd love for her to debut a new song or two on the tour.

Re: "Sprung" / "Secret Love" (82,207) (82,214) by Bill from the UK
Lol another song you dislike Licia hehe. I also much prefer Secret Love. Spring has too much going on and I'm not sure why it has, what I can only call, "Halloween music" in the background. You know what I mean?

Dave Hall (82,133) by Bill from the UK
I really hope Mariah’s new album has a song written with Dave Hall. Dreamlover, Fantasy and Slipping Away were total ear candy and they worked so well together.

Re: I love a list (82,097) (82,117) by Bill from the UK
Haha I love a wine influenced list. Reading through everybody’s, I can’t believe how much I forgot. How could I not list Make It Look Good as a single should have been, when at the time of release it was the best thing she’d done in ten years? Thanks everybody for responding and sorry to those of you that hate them lol.

Re: New album title (82,068) (82,070) by Bill from the UK
I agree. I loved the "Daydream" album title all the more when Mariah said she named it that because the songs all had this dreamy vibe to them and that the album was one continuous mood throughout. It made it much deeper than a word plucked from the chorus of Fantasy. Equally I felt Emotions was a brilliant album title because of the range of moods the songs had. Joyously happy, desperately sad, inspiringly spiritual, hauntingly melancholic. Keep it simple. I feel she's been trolling us with these recent ridiculous album titles. So far, Andrew's suggestion gets my vote.
