I'll give Nick credit when he was married he did an excellent job promoting her brand and perpetuating her image. I loved it when he said that if one of those reality singing competitions wanted Mariah they'd have to back the Brink's truck up. Which AI did when they paid her $18 million. Maybe Nick should manage Mariah's career. He's got more connections than Stellar and more experience. Disney usually goes all out promoting songs that are released as singles to promote their films but for some reason they didn't. I Don't is a good song that could have been better had Mariah interpolated more of Jones's song into it, especially lyrically. I didn't care for YG's verse (verses) until he performed it on Kimmel with Mariah. He steadied her nerves when he came back on stage and she let lose and slayed. (Friday 19 May 2017; 19:02)

They would have just released a statement saying that Lionel's knee is still not fully healed so the tour had to be cancelled or postponed indefinitely. Don't believe tabloid rumors. When she preformed Hero she was acknowledging Mariah's talent as not only a vocalist but as a songwriter. I'm sure Mariah was honored, one of her idols singing one of her songs. I would love to hear other legendary vocalists, like Patti and Gladys, cover Mariah's classic. (Friday 19 May 2017; 17:31)

Mariah could learn a lesson from these girls. She needs to work with new collaborators, songwriters and producers. As long as she just updates her signature sound and doesn't pull a 180 she won't be viewed as desperate for a hit. Unfortunately, most people think it's a classic that she covered. When I tell people that she wrote it they're like no she didn't, it's a Phil Spector classic from the 60's. When I prove that she wrote it, it changes their opinion of Mariah. Most think she's like Celine and Whitney, an interpreter of other peoples songs. (Thursday 18 May 2017; 18:11)

Was the Why You Mad remix ever actually released? I don't remember. It was forgettable and uninspired and no one outside of the Lambily heard it thankfully. #Beautiful, You're Mine (Mine), Infinity, and I Don't are the only songs Mariah's released in the last three years that the public have heard. I think the warm reception to I Don't has caused Epic to have some faith in Mariah. If she interpolates a great sample into her next single and looks all hot tamale in a great video she can make another comeback. She needs to write simple poetic lyrics like she used to.
