Bryan and Anthony (70,767) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't know if this means anything but did you all notice that throughout the performance on NYE, Mariah was basically only dancing with Anthony? There was a point where Mariah turns to Anthony and he picks her thigh up and she dips, while Bryan is pulling awkward moves beside them as if he doesn't know what to do? This happened throughout the performance with Mariah basically only dancing with Anthony. Whereas in the past shows Mariah was dancing a lot with Bryan and even in the Diva's Live show, when she was raised by her dancers, she still reached out and grabbed Bryan even though he was far away, here. Does this mean she's over the drama? Or am I reading too much into it? I'm also surprised she fired Anthony because on stage she was laughing and joking with him. (Wednesday 4 January 2017; 18:15)

She won't fire family, so it'll put her in a tight spot. She might make Bryan the next scapegoat, because we know that relationship is staged as fudge and hence he's an outsider. But after you mentioned her here, I went back and saw the whole part and yes, while she goes in hard on her at the start, she does later make valid points. She even praises her as a singer and said yet again (she says that all the time) that even on her worst day she can out sing anyone. Then she even defends her lip syncing saying it doesn't matter, everyone knows she can sing, so as long as she is up there putting on a show it doesn't bother her. I'm living for Wendy throwing shade at Stella every chance she gets and it's the truth. I also agree that apart from Kris Buckle, no one in her current entourage really gives two hoots about Mariah personally. And yes I think Big Jim Wright, Trey Lorenz and her back up singers are great friends to her, but I'm not including them in her "entourage" because they don't follow her everywhere. I mean holidays and shopping sprees and dates and what not. They go with her when she's performing and then go back to their own lives, which I respect and appreciate. Plus DCP isn't a new thing, they have been around for decades. The fault comes from the technicians and Mariah's team not handling the situation well. Mariah on the other hand did a good interview where she didn't really throw blame at anyone. So I'm glad she didn't go round Stella's ratchet round, but by that time Stella has already done the damage on provoking a major production house. (Wednesday 4 January 2017; 15:10)

It will somewhat expose her snake side, like what happened with Taylor. Like Taylor, JLo has this impeccable team around her where even though she does a lot of stuff, she always end up with a good image, so I hope this "liking of the comment" gets viral so people can shift the heat on JLo haha. This is just making me believe more and more that Bulochnikov is probably behind the sabotage so she can get her 15 minutes of fame. Haha joking, but seriously why is she going around doing interviews though? This is her second in 2 days. Plus her attitude is so wrong with all the swearing and bad mouthing. Stella thinks only of the short term. Her brain can't process what these disputes will lead to in the long run. Mariah needs big TV channels to be on her side but of course Stella is just fine with Hallmark. About the apology part, when DCP offered to give a joint statement, Stella could have just told them to apologize in it, instead she straight up said no to it. Then talking about how Mariah is ignoring it, good Lord. Just lie if you have to and say "Mariah is heartbroken that she could not give the performance she prepared for her fans and the audience, she is sad she couldn't give the performance they deserved but she is trying to stay strong." Saying Mariah is ignoring it and Mariah is the biggest star there and Mariah did them a favor is just rude and arrogant. (Tuesday 3 January 2017; 11:34)

MW episode 4: Mimi L review (70,663) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter 1) Festivities on the jet. They are playing "Oh Santa". I almost forgot how festive the song was. 2) Lee Daniels is here. They are discussing about their difficult past and how they have both been victims to predators and how they mask if differently, with Mariah using her diva antics as a self defense. Good for him to give a little background for people to understand Mariah's attitude a little better. 3) Molly is setting up an Easter party for the kids and she'll be the Easter Bunny. Mariah looks like a million bucks at the party. Cute moment with Dembabies. 4) Thirsty Tanaka is back practicing how to get out of the anniversary cake and spray champagne while doing a hip thrust. He is also talking about how MC opened up to him back in 2006 and told him to be more than a dancer and invited him back to her house to listen to her then unreleased music. Too many lies detected. Girl bye. 5) Mariah prank calling Molly, as Pamela, to order Mozzarella Sticks. 6) Mariah is at the party now, Tanaka is pulling his stripper moves. Tanaka running his hand through Mariah's thighs, Mariah pouring a glass of bubbly on Tanaka, while dude ripples away. 7) Anthony is talking about how he and everyone else in the room is noticing Tanaka is all over Mariah flirting away and Anthony is like it's awkward because she is engaged. Honestly I don't know what they wished to achieve using this story line. It makes Mariah look bad. Also awkward is Mishka is hanging around drunk and occasionally shirt less adults watching this sexual tension go down. Oh wait the other children including Dembabies are there too. Weird. 8) Stella is pissed because Molly is playing with the cake Tanaka came out off. Stella is saying she wants to "wring her neck" because she isn't paying her to fool around. So rude. You are out there partying along with everyone else so why can't she do the same? 9) Stella's World moment where she is showing how her life is after the show. She has 2 sick children she needs to take care of after having Mariah do her duties. She goes on and on about the no glam side of being a single mommy while Mariah is just sitting in the back, because duh, you don't interrupt the real star. 10) Molly went to get a tattoo, for all of you that care. 11) Tanaka is happy he finally got his time with Mariah. 12) Back to Stella's World. Stella is going off on Molly and going on and on about having to take care of her sick kids with no help. Then why bring them on such a hectic tour? 13) Snippet of "Close My Eyes" while some fans talk about what Mariah and her music means to her. It was a sweet moment. They also showed the scene with the fan giving her the cross. 14) Another long Molly-Stella scene. Why is this even required? This girl is not even related to Mariah and we all know it's a staged storyline. 15) Stella kissing Mariah's behind. Next week's preview, Tanaka is getting uber touchy with Mariah. At one point he asks Mariah "Are you really going to marry this guy?" Mariah asks "Why?" He says "I just really want you to be happy." Tanaka get the eff out. (Monday 2 January 2017; 21:46)

Mariah (70,658) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Everything aside, I just hope Mariah is doing well right now. That whole incident was a major shock, you could tell she looked defeated and on the verge of tears. It still makes me cry to see one of the strongest women in show business look so helpless in front of such a huge live audience and an even bigger television audience. Mariah, wherever you are, just know this will pass, I would like you to take care of yourself first. Don't let this defeat you, instead take it like a motivation, take this as the fire you need to prove the world that you are second to none. As much as I criticize her, all the recent loss of legends we had has made me feel more protective of Mariah, and I would want her to be healthy and happy for a long time. I hope this backlash leads to something positive, where she either decides to shut haters down or just take time off, instead of something negative. My thoughts, prayers are with Mariah and her family, I love you and always will. You'll come back stronger than ever, just stop doubting yourself. Take some time to reevaluate your decisions and when I say take some time off, I mean alone, with your family. The lambily will always have your back. (Monday 2 January 2017; 20:29)

Billboard article (70,625) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Stella is darn near making me sick with her stupidity. The Billboard article is just another stupid move. Here is the link for those of you who want to get sick along with me. 1) Stella is going at it again, still trying to take on a major television network and production house. This won't be good since DCP is already slightly hinting at defamation law suits. Of course it's good news for Stella because she'll make her sister Mariah's attorney so more money for the family. 2) "Both sources say the fault was on Carey's tech team, which seems to support repeated claims by DCP that all was functioning properly on the show production end." This seems to appear more and more to be an inside job and I actually wouldn't be surprised if Stella did it to get ratings for MW. However I obviously don't know that for a fact and it might have just been bad luck. (This is from a separate Billboard article by the way.) 3) Major respect to Randy Jackson for avoiding the plague that is Stella for as long as he could, but snakes have their ways, so she jumped on Brett Ratner to get her chance with Mariah. 4) Stella talking about how great it is that she can bring her kids along, girl that's because apart from Mariah no one would voluntarily bring in that mess and most importantly no one would hire a manager who has no management background or skill. 5) She pretty much admits a lot of the stuff on MW is exaggerated and scripted. I'm sitting here like, mind blown, really? I thought it was all real. 6) She talks about how people think she's mean because of the Molly storyline, no Stella, people (fans and casual audience) hated you from the moment they saw you because of you camera hogging antics. It's funny to see her talk about others forgetting that they are not the star, Mariah is, when clearly someone needs to remind Stella about that. 7) Of course she plugs in her 13 year old, I'm surprised she didn't mention what an awesome job she did with Mariah's IG. 8) She mentions multiple times how a lot of it was amplified for televeision, then pray tell me why you all still call it a docu-series? 9) The fact that Stella's answer to the following questions is about herself and not Mariah shows she is the one who forgets Mariah is the star. The question was "Which scenes were you hesitant to put out there?" She answers 'Like when I saw the headlines 'Russian Dictator'. It's so obnoxious. But then I laugh about it. Now I'm thinking of trademarking it. I put it (in my Instagram bio) after. I was like, 'I'm just gonna play along.'" First of all dahlin' no one cares about what people call you, the answer should have been about Mariah. Secondly people didn't start calling you the Russian Dictator, you had it in your instagram bio all along and you play this crap up way too many times. Stop trying to make "Stella Russian Dictator" happen, it won't happen. Stella is the most annoying human being honestly. (Monday 2 January 2017; 13:51)

By the time that happened, I'm surprised Mariah didn't collapse on stage because my heart certainly couldn't take it even though I was sitting behind a computer screen in a different part of the world. Imagine her standing there, already knowing she's screwed after that "Emotions" tragedy and then to have the album version of WBT come over. If I was her, I'd either collapse (but demand a chaise lounge first), or start taking off my shoes and running while aiming my shoes at the technicians or producers (whoever was nearer) or just take off my wig and sit on the floor and wait for it to end. Stella blaming ABC and Dick Clark's Production (70,577) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Stella (and we know it's her because she used TMZ) claims that DC Production and ABC wanted to sabotage Mariah for ratings. Woman clearly doesn't know how to handle a mega star because now she will be burning a lot of bridges. Mariah's team back in Rockefeller was clever enough not make such claims with NBC, even though clearly someone from there leaked it. Stella is claiming there were a lot of red flags and how they complained before the show that the ear monitor wasn't working but they avoided her. Since then DC Production has given a statement saying that Team Mariah is being silly with the sabotage claims especially since Mariah never came in for the sound check and used a stand in instead and that apparently there were 8 active on stage monitors amplifying the sound so Mariah could hear the music regardless of the ear monitor. Now I don't know if Stella is being paranoid or there really was some problem but rule of the business is that you don't just start a fight with a major television network. The fact that they exposed that there were 8 monitors on stage so Mariah could hear fine is bad for Mariah. Keep in mind Mariah complained the monitors were off and they also played the album version of WBT which Mariah wouldn't have used even if she planned to lip sync. So something is definitely amiss. Since DC is claiming that Mariah's team provided the track list, it might also happen that her team messed up the track list (and will anyone really be surprised at that considering they didn't know there are time differences between countries?). Anyways somebody messed up but instead of playing the blame games by directly firing at a big production house/network, the more ideal thing to do was for her to just say she had technical issues (without saying whose fault it is) and then going on an unplugged show or sing a few A Capella songs, book a major TV appearance, even if she has to pay for it, like the Grammy's and just prove her voice and her ability. Stella you are so dense. This is why a reality show producer can't be a manager. Go take some management courses at least. Going to TMZ crying wolf every time won't work. You are ruining Mariah dumb head. Who is writing these statements? Mishka? I'm so sick of the childish crybaby moves her team plays every time. Nick Cannon. Sabotage (won't let Mariah get married). James Packer, sabotage (trying to tarnish Mariah's image post break up). ABC. Sabotage. Calm down, no one will buy this. You have only made things worse. First ABC will now have bad blood with MC and second they'll make their own statements and that obviously won't put Mariah in a good light. I hope this stops right here and does not drag on for months like the Carey Packer one sided feud. Stella is such an immature crybaby. Look in instead of blaming people outside. What happened? (70,543) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't understand how this could happen. For those asking why she couldn't sing even with the ear piece malfunctioning (even though she did it many times before), I don't know much about live settings but from what I've gathered, both her ear piece and the on stage monitor was off. So basically she couldn't hear anything except for the audience yelling. Had her ear piece malfunctioned but the onstage monitor still on she could have pulled it through. The few words she sang were probably from cues she picked up from the dancers around her. However, now the question is why did this happen? Did she not rehearse? Didn't she post a picture a while before the show about her rehearsals? How did they not realize it then? Also it just breaks my heart that every time Mariah is on live TV, something big goes wrong, whereas she keeps slaying at events and concerts no one knows about. Also, let's suppose that they realized the mistake through Emotions, could someone not have switched the ear phone back on by the time WBT rolled around? I almost had a heart attack when they started playing the album version of WBT for her to lip sync to, I was like . Even Mariah was like "that's the album version". She completely gave up on stage. At this point Mariah should really considering starting afresh with a new team. Mariah there has been way too many mishaps these last 2 years for you to ignore. Let the DC mishap be the last disaster and leave it behind in 2016, with 2017, please get more professional, with yourself and your team. (Sunday 1 January 2017; 14:38)

NYE disaster (70,519) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So I woke up to the picture of Mariah looking great in that black outfit on her instagram, I don't know if it was Balmain, but it was exactly the type of Balmain dresses I have been wanting her to wear (I mean the style) so I then went to UKMix and saw fans having meltdown after meltdowns, With one party saying how they are crying and upset about what happened while the other party is going in on Mariah bashing her. I read those and it got me scared to watch the video but then I was like, wait a minute, Mariah fans always have meltdowns whenever Mariah makes the slightest mistakes on stage so I'm sure it's not that bad, I mean they must be exaggerating when they said she was just standing there and talking while her songs were playing. So I opened the video and throughout the video I was sitting there staring, jaw almost hitting the floor, this can't be true. Until finally I came to the end where Mariah says "It don't get any better" and I ended up crying. It looked like she was about to cry too, it was clear she was just holding it in because her years of media training didn't let her lose it on stage but I guess she should have just let it out because people are really coming for her now. This is even worse that the Rockefeller performance. I don't know who to blame at this point, I'm just so upset. I was praying this wouldn't be a Rockefeller moment and this turned out worse. It's just such a tragic way to end 2016 especially considering that between 2015 and 2015 she has been touring/singing live more than she possibly did in her entire career, so you'd expect she would be confident to go at it live during a public appearance. I was then hoping she would release a public apology statement, instead she posted this. This will further show people that she doesn't give a damn. But on stage we could clearly see she was on the verge of tears. This is clearly Stella's post and yes Mariah probably signed off on it to appear bad ass but Mariah open your eyes. I will always love you and I don't have any doubts about your talent but your image is being torn to shreds. I hope Stella does something to fix this instead of sweeping it under the rug. It does her no favors and thing is she accentuates it more with push up bras and contours and all other tricks when she exposes them whereas they appear way smaller when it's covered. But yes the 1998-1999 was a good boob moment. And dahlin' I adore ya and enjoy ya too, you already know that. Haha. I hope you enjoy the show and I would love to hear your feedback.
