Re: MW episode 6 : Mimi L review (71,338) (71,349)

And wouldn't his other dancer buddies have a spare set of clothes to lend him? What a terrible joke M. is playing on herself and everyone else. SMH, what an expensive prank or maybe just poor taste, timing and tone. Two more episodes. Now, I really can't wait to get the Elle review for this weeks episode. The reviewers snark meter must be going off the charts as he writes it.

Lol this show is asinine. Thanks for the recap. Maybe all of her songs are interchangeable to whichever person she want to showcase. What must James be thinking or his kids if they watch this nonsense. Poor Roc and Roe though.

Re: Stella i.e. All about eve / Single white female (71,302) (71,308)

Now it would be hilarious if Stellar takes lead from "Single White Female" and sneaks into Boynaka's room at the Dorcester, dressed as Mimi and well you know the rest if you've seen the movie. Of course this should all be captured for the MW cameras. Then Stellar can skip the killing him with her high heel shoe part, but they can just wander off into the sunset confessing their true love for each other.

I still don't do personal attacks on twitter, but I do laugh when I read some of the IG posts and tweets of fans going all the way in. I miss Anthony's DGAF responses too.

No doubt you are right. They are rolling out all of this stuff for people to discuss, so they can't be surprised by some of the reactions. Good luck watching tonight. Lol.

Social Media break (71,300)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
I wonder why they still call the paps and sent out calls for fans to meet Mariah at her hotel, if taking a social media break? She does have the capability to be as private as she wants to be, but the call was made and the Daily Mail is there to plant yet another story about M. and her assistants. But I am glad that her SM shut down includes no posts by the 13 year old or 13 year old's momma. If that was Mariah's call to do that, then it was a good one. I hope Mariah changes the passwords. Big wish I know. Lol.

Yes he has moved on and being hurt, is usually not a draw to go back to what may be causing the hurt, if that was her intention, then poorly done. I do feel they both are hurt in the divorce, that is usually how it goes, but neither did the work together to heal and stay, or heal and move on. Hopefully time sorts it all out, but I hate to see the people she is paying to spend time with her this era and the results of that time don't impress me, it is a very cringe worthy watch.

I think many of her peers care about her and her well being, but they are probably as confused as many of her fans. Mariah seems to have intentionally jumped off into the Kardashian style rabbit hole for the flimsiest/fakest of reasons. Right now, I am just hoping something of value will be revealed by seasons end of this "docu-debacle". I found it interesting that one of M's extended team, who used to work on MDJ made a subtweet saying: people are not helping Mariah by attacking her manager. I hope that is not as ominous as it sounded to me. Hopefully it is cut and dry and not an implication that it is hurting M in some way for people to attack Stellar. I am not one to attack Stella or anyone on twitter or social media, but I will post my feelings here on MCA out of care and concern for Mariah. I do wonder what Mariah really wants from her fans, what she wants not what Stella and the team of circus freaks and thirst bots want.

All of it seems designed to hurt Nick. JP was either in on it from the beginning for the press, or he got the picture finally and gave up. Rather sad and desperate attempts to hurt, especially the lengths she has gone to. IDK, but the "Camouflage" reference in the last MW episode was very telling IMO. This has been the longest drawn out cry for help and attention. IDK what she feels, but I wish she would protect the kids in all of this. I hope she gets the help, she seems to have gotten the attention, but by the ratings not even as much of that as she would have liked. And by help, I mean the counseling or emotional help that she might need, not enablers. I am still hoping there is some redemption by the end of this "docuality" show.

Patti and Luther (71,278)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
Here is a cool throwback video, just because it is so good. Luther and Patti singing the classic Brenda Russell song that Luther covered, 'If Only For One Night'. The showmanship is off the hook here. I would be floored if Mariah and Lionel perform Endless Love like two legendary singers/prize fighters. Lol just kidding, but it will be nice to see them finesse their way through the song when they go on tour.

I think Anthony was telling the truth, that the show is fake. But who knows if the two diddle now just for laughs. Lol. Read the old Inquisitr article about Stella and how the old team revolted because the show was full of lies and staged scenarios. At some point the season will end and they have to have some kind of finale though.

Girl, it's a "docuality" show, fake stuff documented as reality, lightly sprinkled with show footage. Did you read that Elle recap I posted yesterday. Mimi L. that guy has you beat for his snarky observations. But I can't wait to read your recap, the follow up with his after tomorrow's episode.

Stella is not going to let M. out of her clutches any sooner than she has to and all the rest are their to ensure the stay is as long as possible, they are like Crustella's tentacles.

Oh Stella is there. If you look at the pics on Daily Mail, the other hired help Liane is also there along with the entourage and body guards. From the looks of Roc and Roes outfits perhaps they are redoing some of the prior footage as they shoot an alternate ending. The kids previously wore those outfits on the MW filming.

So I hear that Mariah is in London right now. Wonder what she is doing. Hoping perhaps she will chat with her old buddy Jasmine. But all of her old friends have generally been silent since Mariah took up with Stellar. I guess we will find out though eventually.

The NYE debacle would be a fitting finale for MW though and please let this be the first and last season. Lol. But Ed Sheeran or James Bay could be great song collaborators with Mariah. Both are young, good lyricists and musicians. I still say Brittany Howard would be a great collaborator with M. as well. I like the collaboration she has out with John Legend. Brittany really is the truth.

They were planting traps all along, with drunk clips with M. sussone and the help, the cake scene, etc. They may have spliced him in later to punch up the storyline, but M. never acted like she was engaged about to be getting married except when she posed with Packer on vacation. Otherwise she acted very single.

IDK, the Weeknd, is meh, IMO. But if they could come up with a good product, then cool. Mariah working with Raphael Saadiq could be cool. She needs something a little bit experimental if not just straight up R&B. I just hope whatever she does, there is no trendy phrases, shade or general pettiness. Good thoughtful lyrics are essential.

The Weeknd and Selena Gomez? (71,173)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
What a random couple if this is true, or are they just working on new music? Hollyweird. I am ready for some real, good R&B music from someone. The ones who are getting the limelight do not represent the best there is in R&B these days. It's quite sad. Even Miguel has promise, but I don't believe he is the best. His new project with Raphael Saadiq might be promising though. Having a good musician with good technological acumen working beside you is a good thing.

I know and did she even fire Molly yet? If she were really trying to display boss behavior she would have sent them both packing with a little severance for Molly and Worker's Compensation for Boynaka. But this is reality tv so.

by RibbonB from USA

I agree, that is immaturity and ego at work from what I can see. And probably on both their parts. M. for allowing it and the help is responsible for jumping right in. And it is not like M. doesn't have experience what with being newly divorced, being a child of divorce, being divorced from a man who had his own children. In fact if I recall, TM wouldn't even allow her to take pictures with his children out of respect to the ex I suspect. M. is allowing many things and people are commenting whether she reads it or not. Hopefully someone, anyone with access to M. will pass on some common sense precautions. Allegedly in her settlement with Nick, neither is to allow the other's romantic interest to be called mom or dad like names by the kids, they should probably be as tight as Tiger and his ex wife, where they supposedly do not allow their children to be exposed to new interests too soon, or photographed or exploited in the media with them at all.

Re: Stella blocking contact (71,104) (71,109)
by RibbonB from USA

I definitely don't want rush job music, but my concern is that she is sequestered away with that circus of friends and minute-maid family she has chosen to have around herself and her kids. Scary stuff, where her head is these days. I hope her self-preservation kicks in. She needs a bubble within her bubble and make her hired help have to call her and check in like Stellar makes Molly do on the show. Stella can manage her movie mess from outside the Tribeca crib. They need to all have to clock in, but that would mean she would have to face herself and her children and her personal life, such that it is. I have no doubt that Mariah is or thinks she is the supervisor, but she is down Stellar's road with this reality show and that seems to be the root of what ails her career/life right now. She/they decided to expose or create mess for mass consumption.
