About RibbonB from USA: I love Mariah's Music.

Silent Night video (70,248) by RibbonB from USA
Simple and cute. Nice to see Big Jim at the piano in it.

Re: Her children (70,227) (70,231) by RibbonB from USA
There is nothing wrong with expressing concern for children. Not to mention we are all just seeing this MW video stuff. They obviously want feedback. It is a sad day when people don't express concern for others, especially kids. If others want to keep blinders on, then it is what it is, but children's lives matter.

Re: Dystopian diva (70,225) (70,229) by RibbonB from USA
That is definitely the vibe I got too, soft Santa porn. She used professional child dancers in her show and other videos, maybe she should leave Roc and Roe out of her performances. I wonder would she have felt comfortable hugging other kids to her boobs? Would other parents have allowed and released that if their kids were the children exposed in the video? I hope the other ones that she will release are not even worse/more explicit.

Re: Article: Mariah serves too much cleavage in R-rated music video (70,195) (70,217) by RibbonB from USA
Her behavior is very odd, especially with respect to her children. That she has boundary issues is clear and potentially dangerous. The whole scene is beyond weird. She seems to seek to normalize behavior which would normally be questioned. New boy toy could be a child predator right under her own roof, but if she is too stoned or giddy about getting press, she may not even notice or care. That is why it is not a good idea to date with your children. Young help might want to date the children. If M. keeps folding new people into her and her children's private sphere, then folding them out when she is done, the babies will be hurt. She needs some clear and distinct boundaries around her children. They need a protective bubble, not just to live in her bubble and deal with all that she deals with. This is not an accusation, just an observation. But hey, we now have an elected president who will be treating his daughter as the first lady and their history in pictures is quite creepy, but the media ignores that. He is seeking to normalize all manner of creepy, if not illegal behavior as well. Well, happy holidays.

Dystopian diva (70,208) by RibbonB from USA
I hope Mariah has reached rock bottom this year, but alas I fear it may get even worse next year. I am praying for "dem babies" and their dad Nick who is in the hospital again and praying for Mariah that she will step back into real reality, not E network dumbed down, dragged out, drunk and or drugged out diva reality.

Re: Anthony Burrell drama queen latest post (70,190) (70,191) by RibbonB from USA
Yeah, at least Anthony keeps it real, unlike the rest of the sycophants on Mariah's staff. He is definitely having fun with it on his twitter.

Anthony tweet (70,187) by RibbonB from USA
Well someone has some "splaining" to do. This tweet is from one of Mariah's dancers responding to some shade thrown his way. "Anthony Burrell. Let these folk wreck they [sic] brain over a show created for dummies. Make you believe what they want you to believe Anthony Burrell is the dance captain, they are in charge of communicating needs to tour management. Responsible for dancers". This on his twitter feed. "A show created for dummies. Make you believe what they want you to believe". That is utterly telling.

Lee Daniels on MW (70,185) by RibbonB from USA
I wonder which episode Lee Daniels will appear in. I would be interested to see the lunch they had. I wonder how he is feeling about MW so far. It would be hilarious if they showed it with him fussing at Mariah, clearly his voice, but with his face pixleated/blurred, hahaha. He was the one public skeptic of her band of buddies, the rest are "yasss queeners". Most of her old friends are silent, although her old UK buddy Jasmine has tweeted about it being on a couple of times. So far I haven't read a critique from her.

Re: WWHL (70,170) (70,184) by RibbonB from USA
Andy and Bravo are just more of the E network continuum. Start trash and keep trash going. M is playing to that pop culture demo right now. There is a conflict with the Lionel crowd, so we will see how or if she makes that transition. She is herself a middle aged, rich, mother of young kids no less and people will be critiquing her based on that, to reference the post by Billy.

Article: Mariah Carey and James Packer in Aspen (70,143) by RibbonB from USA
What a difference a year makes. Now we've gone from "uncle Shrek" to the help, "uncle Boytoy" with mommy in Aspen. This year Mariah is even more pathetic allowing said help to hold her sleeping daughter while exiting the plane in Aspen. Like she doesn't have other paid staff such as nannies and security to hold her children. I smell the mess ratcheting up just in time for the show finale. I really don't care what M. does in her personal life, except she has been deliberately putting a lot of mess out there. I do care about her children and find it sad that she fires nannies on a whim because they get too close to her children, but she doesn't seem to have a problem with having new male influences around them. I cannot help but think this will have a negative affect on both children in the long run. It is especially sad if she is doing this for press yet again. I guess she is following the JLo, and Casper model. Too bad.

This is Cirque de Crustella featuring Bianca "Bulochnikovanaka" or some ish like that. It is getting beyond absurd.

Re: Nick opens up / CaseyShow podcast (70,077) (70,094) by RibbonB from USA
He also has ADD, and still seems to over work. Both he and Mariah seem to be workaholics though. Just non-stop. That would put a damper on things if he couldn't just travel with her to her liking.

Re: MW episode 3 : Mimi L review (70,069) (70,093) by RibbonB from USA
I caught the last 20 minutes of the show after reading a few tweets about it and I do mean few. But did Stellar refer to Mariah as her "sister wife"? Da [censored]? Who are they married to? Ugh, Stella is so creepy. I did enjoy Danielle reading Stella for filth and threatening to send Stella a "cease and desist order" was a priceless line. Hopefully some of the other staff may reappear for an epic read later in this mess. Remember, I said I expect to see some of them come through. I couldn't believe they would be able to randomly slander working people without giving them a chance to defend themselves. That is just my take on it though.

Re: Nick opens up / CaseyShow podcast (70,053) (70,075) by RibbonB from USA
I will give my own run down for the lazy folks and the team Nick version, since I was accused of that.
1. Nick had and has his own money, and hated being characterized as Mr. Mariah Carey, even though he played it off during the marriage, that kind of thing eventually took it's toll on his health. That and the fact that there was a hierarchy in his marriage instituted by their teams etc. and eventually Mariah started treating him that way too.
2. He felt their marriage became unbalanced/unequally yoked when that started rearing its ugly head.
3. They also had a difference in child rearing at times.
4. He does say he trusts Mariah, that she didn't really discuss James but he never believed it was real, that it became part of Mariah's strategy. No mention of back up dancer.
5. The interviewer's questions were very compelling, she discussed introducing others to children in marriage too soon can be damaging to kids. Nick asserts that when the kids are with him, they are with him only and obviously his mom.
6. He was 100% faithful during the marriage although of course he has eyes.
7. He will always love and have gratitude for Mariah for who she is, what she has done re his children and taking care of him when he was sick.
8. He admitted that even though they identified the problem that ego got in the way and space and time apart contributed to them not overcoming the problem of a spiritual nature esp after the loss of Mariah's pastor.
The meat of this starts about 45 minutes into the hour plus interview.

Nick opens up / CaseyShow podcast (70,053) by RibbonB from USA
Here is an interesting interview some might find enlightening or enraging depending on who you are. Lol. This came out a week or so ago and Nick opens up about what happened to break up his marriage. I thought I would post for the many who may not have heard it. For some reason, I think a lot will come out tonight either on WWHL or the third episode of MW. Nick certainly defends and speaks well of Mariah, but he does talk about "dark forces" which may have influenced Mariah. Whatever happens in Mariah's life, I wonder will she ever be allowed or allow herself to live alone with herself, her children and whomever she ends up with? It is all so odd.

Childish Gambino / Donald Glover (70,034) by RibbonB from USA
Wow, I am loving his new music. Such a breath of funky fresh air right now. Lol. I sure hope Mariah is cooking up something new and fresh, that JD is improving his chops. This is a good time for new music and I hope Mariah comes in on the right wave. The thing I love most about the new CG single is the excellent background vocals, the perfect interplay and dramatic effect. I love Mariah's stacked vocals and her background gymnastics, but I would love some more scaled back moments with selective dramatic moments, that might be better to perform live.

Here is an interesting take on how reality shows are made from Quora. This follows what I have heard from other industry people. Note big names sign off on these stories.

Very nice, it all started with M. and it ends this year with homage to Mariah, the queen of Christmas.

Re: Mariah's World (70,012) (70,013) by RibbonB from USA
Also, regarding MW. If this show is only going to be based on these characters and themes, what a wasted opportunity, but many of us already sensed that. From what they have leaked and tried to highlight, I don't see any growth or development from Mariah. All we have seen is an inept manager trying to showcase her "stellar" skills and introduce her family and other assorted staff and their drama. Hopefully there will be more to it than staged fights, flirts, and other lame crises. They could have replaced James with more touring, singing and songwriting footage, that is more the makings of a documentary.

Re: Mariah / Carpool Karaoke (70,011) (70,012) by RibbonB from USA
This show is scripted and staged. It doesn't make it real. They are leaking stuff to try to draw maximum interest, especially since ratings are not great. The final outcome will tell the tale though. But honestly, if they are putting in mess from the cutting room floor, then they imply that it was already filmed and why would she have done any of that if she were really engaged in the first place? The additional footage is a redirection. I still call all staged start to finish. Whatever happens, she should go into the next year and her new tour with herself and her children as the focus. IMO she would be doing herself, her children and her fans a disservice to do otherwise.

Blackish / AIWFCIY (70,009) by RibbonB from USA
Blackish the TV show made the funniest reference to Mariah and her Holiday classic this week. I am sure Mariah would find it funny. The older couple thought she wrote it way back in the day and are debating about it with their son. I love the time traveler joke. Page down a bit on their twitter page for the post.

Re: Lionel Richie - joint tour (69,973) (69,975) by RibbonB from USA
They are actually advertised as co-headliners, so they will both put on a full set. Luther Vandross and Anita Baker did this back in the day and the show was full for each and epic. Major acts often tour together and give fans a lot of bang for their bucks.

Of course it was a joke, thus my reply to Licia who seemed to get it. But he is an easy google for people who seem to be unaware of his actual status.
