Dahlin' Mariah can't do that now because Lady Gaga has already gone ahead and done that but I know which picture you are talking about and it indeed is one of my favorites. I also loved her hat moment in "Breakdown". I want another video like "Breakdown". Such a shame that a video like that went almost unnoticed.

They really need to push the new album though. Go all out. Because many people didn't even know that MIAM exists. I mean for them the last album Mariah released was Memoirs and the last single is "Obsessed". Now we know a lot of things played part in MIAM not being promoted properly but for the next album she needs to go all out. The article got me excited about the possibilities.

Billboard article (67,845)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
This Billboard article makes me happy. They always pay respect to their reigning queen and this is a short wish-list of what her next album should have. Love that they went ahead with Mariah's use of "moment" for every item on the wish list haha. "Vocal moment", "Festive banger moment", "Anthem moment". Haha so cute. Pretty much covers my wish list too, except they didn't mention potential collaborators, but this board has that covered. The article was clearly written by a lamb judging by some of the words used and the nod to "Subtle Invitation". For the "Cover moment" I seriously wish Mariah would cover "You're not alone" or "Speechless" by Michael Jackson this time. Also "Butterflies" by MJ would be great too. Love that one.

Licia, I'm officially declaring you a certified goat. How dare you come on this message board and try to bully Mariah? Haha, jokes apart, I agree with your post. I really don't see the whole point of this. It's looking ridiculous and making Mariah look bad.

She took on too much too soon. (And this is just my opinion so the lamb firing squad can give it a rest.) The divorce with Nick clearly left her scarred because she seemed to be head over heels in love with him and we saw what a mess she was in 2014. She told him she'll get a billionaire if he messes up one more time and she kept her word and moved on to James real fast without letting herself heal. Also in the middle, she fired everyone she knew for 2 decades and then moved in a completely new set of employees hence surrounded by strangers. Her mom seems to be out of the picture, her brother and sister are taking multiple shots at her. Then the whole drama with James starts and whether she brought it on herself with the stunts or not, she is being humiliated publicly and that has got to affect her. Anyways I understand why Stella's "empower women, we don't need men" single mom empowerment thing rubbed off on Mariah, or at least I think I do. I mean Mariah is professionally independent but her songs suggest she is a hopeless romantic and a "softie". Stella's cut throat attitude probably inspired Mariah to pick up a "I don't give a fudge" attitude. The problem is while that is good that Stella inspires Mariah to be strong, ruthless and not let people ruin her vibe, we all know there have been downside to this too. Had she been able to maintain a good balance of this and maybe keep Stella as a friend, not have her entire family live in the same house, and let a real manager handle her business, it would probably would have been better.

Haha I saw the pictures too and I was about to post but then I'm like forget it, what's the use? Monroe does not look pleased, she looks downright annoyed. I am genuinely curious about what the end game here really is. Like it is quite clear they are intentionally allowing themselves to be photographed together but what do they want to achieve out of it? If a man can throw you out of your home and his yacht over what his business associate supposedly told him then would he really care that you are now hanging out with your back up dancer? Is he really worth the drama? Clearly he chose money over love (this is if I am to believe that particular rumor). So it just makes Mariah look like she's being "eternally 12" trying to get her ex jealous. Whatever it is, these kids need to be kept out. Gosh Mariah they'll grow up and read these, think about it. The best she could have done is just gone away from the public eye to let it blow over and return in a few weeks, alas that is not possible anymore because she has a lot of work scheduled. Still, I'd like for her to just scrap these messy photo ops and just resurface every time she has an official appearance. And no this doesn't mean she should lock herself up, we know very well how these paparazzi situation works, you either call themselves to tell them where you are or you knowingly go to places where they set camp. So enough with Nobu haha and stop calling them whenever you go out. Just enjoy your life without the mess.

That is a scary scenario and I hope Mariah stays safe and away from any Scientology mess. Maybe they initially "allowed" the union thinking that they can recruit Mariah, another high profile celeb face, to use as their ambassador or whatever you call it, like Tom Cruise. But Mariah possibly flat out refused to be a part of this messy cult and that's when things started going bad. Other scenario being they were never down with Mariah either ways. Anyways whichever it is, if there is any Scientology crap involved in this, I hope Mariah just shakes it off and moves on with her life. She has a good thing going, she's an independent woman who can live comfortably for the rest of her life living solely off her Christmas domination (if she wants), not to mention her other huge songs, she has two beautiful children and she has a career that still has a lot of life in it. Instead of being hot headed and vowing for revenge, Stella should instead just pull Mariah away from this, tell her to let bygones be bygones and focus on her music and her family, things that bring her joy. I do understand that being thrown off the boat and being told to leave the house (if those stories are true) can be a huge shock to Mariah and is likely to piss anyone off especially if it's someone who has lived on her own terms since leaving Tommy (ugh 2 Tommys sabotaging Mariah), but fighting Scientology big wigs is like fighting a tiger. They are too powerful, have to many resources, will go to any lengths to protect themselves. It's dark and evil, Mariah alone with Stella won't be able to handle it. Best they just move away from this mess.

An empowerment song with a social message would be nice. A goosebumps inducing chorus to go with it. Also her music videos need to be upgraded. I can't deal with any more messy music videos. Side note, I wonder what her state of friendship with Brett Ratner is at the moment. Clearly whichever story you believe; her break up with James was bad (unless of course there has not been a breakup and this is just some stunt), so what's going to happen to Ratner? Since he introduced her to both Stella and James. I don't think Ratner will risk his partnership with James. Stella has already made it clear that she is done with James with the "I don't care how long I fudge with you" post.

Benny Medina. Benny and Mariah together is powerhouse. I know people cite Benny's recent work with JLo and say well what could he do for her. Thing is JLo's latest efforts were below average and not good at all but Benny still did his part of the job and kept her super relevant and always in the public eye without being trashy. Basically JLo-Benny duo failed to produce a successful music era (if you ignore "Booty" charting in top 20s haha) because from her side JLo fell flat and didn't deliver. But we know Mariah always delivers musically. So all Mariah needs to do is create fresh sounds and good music (which is easy for her) and Benny will handle the rest and make sure she is heard all over.

Updates (67,805)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
(1) TMZ has a new article about how James was madly in love with Mariah right up until that mysterious yacht incident. It goes on to say how he would send her love letters via email and call her MCP (Mariah Carey Packer) and ask her to marry him soon and refer songs to her because he finds the meaning of it sweet and hopes it makes Mariah smile. Here is the article. Does the "love, laughter, light" part sound familiar? You all know who it is, "Stell-ento Stell-ento. Haha no I'm just playing, it might be a common phrase, I have no idea, but if true little James was quite the romantic. (2) TMZ also has a video of Mariah and Stella leaving Au Fudge with dembabies and they ask Mariah about James and what happened on the yacht, she doesn't respond. They ask Stella and after initially saying "You know better" (than to ask that), the cameraman say "they want me to ask" and Stella goes "I don't blame them, it's juicy". So basically confirming something went down on the yacht. Or being mysterious.

AIWFCIY with music stars (67,787)
by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
| |
|
|
So I was thinking since AIWFCIY reached a new peak last year and barely missed the top 10, maybe something can be done to push the song even further up the chart this time. Have any of you seen this? How great would it be if Mariah and some well known music stars come together for a segment like this and do an A Capella version of this iconic song. A lot of people have covered it and she can add some others too. I'm thinking Sam Smith, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Justin Bieber, Shania Twain, Meghan Trainor, 1D or individual members like maybe Zayn since they did do a mini impromptu cover, which I thought was super cute. Anyways other celebs could be Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna. The list is endless. I don't know if they have enough time to get this done in time, but it could go viral if they pull it off. Mariah of course would be the center attraction, while the others support her and sing parts. I can already imagine that completely washing away the current negativity and flooding in some good press.

Ribbon you slay me, every damn time. You are too much, I can't even deal with your posts. Haha love it. As for the Scinetology rumors, it is pretty worrying. I hope they reach an agreement soon. If Mariah was in fact told to leave over expenditures that James made, that should not sit well with anyone. But Stella needs to be careful trying to fight fire with fire with these big shots. They can get pretty nasty, and I don't want Mariah to suffer because of that.

Dahlin' the abuse I endure haha. All the credit goes to Eric though. I thought these 3 people sound alike but I would have never in a million years thought that someone would open multiple accounts just to bash me. I think I should almost flattered at the amount of dedication, but the stuff they said were not cute, so I'm grateful that they got exposed minutes after they accused me of using multiple accounts. As if I would give a second account credit for my cool posts about Stella. Just kidding haha.

Oh wow, thank you so much Eric, for revealing this. I thought this person sounds familiar, I never would have been believed that this person will open three accounts in a day just to bully me. To the person doing this (and I think I know who you are, this isn't your first fake account baby, fifth one that I know of right?), I hope you got your fun calling me names and abusing me yet again by making uncalled for shots about my mental stability, "psycho" used to be your favorite word, if I'm not mistaken. Secondly this time you had to take it further by bringing in my culture and race, I didn't respond to that because I won't let anyone provoke me to disrespect another culture/race, I'm better than that. I can fight you with logic, I don't need low blows and cheap shots. You call me "sick" and "obsessive", yet you made three accounts just so you can pretend to have a conversation with yourself and then say "I'm glad people are speaking out about this." Jeez, and I'm the one who's crazy and needs a day job? Send in your resume honey, I'll see if I can find some position for you in my culturally problematic continent. You got so defensive about Stella (not even Mariah, but Stella) that you had to write three separate posts defending Stella, I almost thought I have summoned Ms Bulochinkov to the board. Anyways Stella, Anabelle, Mary (this time you really got creative and used not only 3 new names but places too, bravo), whoever you are, I forgive you and I will pray for your soul. Thanks a lot Eric for being such a responsible and unbiased webmaster and taking the time out from your busy schedule to expose the fakers. This is exactly why this is my favorite Mariah Carey board. You are the best.

Lol girl I've been posting here way to long to feel the need to use a second account to support myself. Secondly where exactly did I threaten anyone? I said "don't let me make this board uneventful for you" which means "don't let my posts make you think that the whole board is negative or a bad board". Which again translates to "don't think only my views represents the whole board's view because there are many other people who post here with views quite different from mine". Jeez girl get a grip. How on earth will I make anything difficult for her via the internet? I don't know that person personally, and this board is strictly monitored by Eric. As for my day job, I have quite a good one, thank you very much for your concern and advice. As for "why I replied to her without her naming me", it's common sense that the subject was me. There are many other people who defended by views here, are you trying to imply all those people are me too? Because "Licia" is also a name with an "L"? Conspiracy theorist much? Last but not the least, I don't have to go from website to website to find photos, I use UKMix and Mariah's official website as a guide to post pictures, which FYI some people enjoy and have thanked me for. I have strong views and if that bothers you I can't do much. I'll say the same thing to you that I told radhames, if you don't like my posts, just ignore it. Every browser has a scroll option. This is the last time I'll reply to people getting uber sensitive and twisting my words. Not worth my time. No matter what you say, I'll do me, so you do you. So have a good day. Next time read properly before you accuse people of "threatening" others.

I have no doubt that the Bryan-Mariah relationship is absolutely false. There is zero truth to it, that's exactly why I'm pissed off, that why does she need to use a fake relationship as a publicity stunt and drum it up as the truth. Case in point, do you remember the time when Bryan wore Mariah's silk nightie robe? Here is the photo as a refresher. This was on SnapChat during her SSFT European leg. One of the many videos where she was seen being cozy with Bryan. Then remember the Paris party where you could see them dancing in a sexy way in the background (intentionally recorded to make it look like they didn't know). I can name a lot of other times they tried to push it, including recently when she was casually hanging out when Bryan 2 nights in a row right before and after the story of Mariah and Bryan broke. I do not believe that Mariah is so dense that if she wanted to keep it a secret she wouldn't be able to. This woman had this whole private relationship with Mark Sudack, she quietly married Nick, she had a tragic miscarriage, all without anyone knowing. Yet they tried to pull this stunt since the European tour. Bryan has been with her at least since the TAOM tour. I believe they are friends but I don't buy into the "Manaka" relationship.

This isn't the only Mariah board where people are raising concerns about Stella. Go to UKMix, it got locked recently because things got so heated up. Go to Mariah's instagram page and you'll see how 90% of the comments are on Stella. Plus you always have the scroll option. You can just scroll away from my posts. It's really that simple. If you wish to turn a blind eye to it, that's your choice. I however care and I don't like seeing my favorite singer become a joke right in front of my eyes. So sorry, not sorry. But don't let me make this board uneventful for you, there are many great members here.
