About Lara from Middle East: I discovered Mariah with "always be my baby"...Got hooked by "my all"..didnt know it was the same artist back then..I couldn't (yet) understand what she was singing! Since then, I've been a big fan and rediscovered her catalogue and appreciate her even more...Searching for her lyrics was my way to learn english :)

Ariana (not a reply) (57,467) by Lara from Middle East On the radio I heard a song by Ariana so I shazamed it and it turned out that it's another singer "Pia M(ar)IA" singing "Do it again". My point Ariana may be a good singer and because of that she dared covering Mariah's songs but what makes our elusive chanteuse stands out is her tone. Velvety, buttery, soothing, you name it. Her voice is immediately recognizable. That's for me more important than her range and belts. Anyone can learn to sing but not every voice is "studiogenic". (Thursday 22 October 2015; 22:43)

License to kill (57,466) by Lara from Middle East I read an article that was ranking James Bond themes with the links for each song and i came across "License to Kill" by Gladys Knight. I was just thinking a couple of days ago that if Sony would ever release a new compilation it should be named "Giving chances" and will contain songs most lambs love but didn't get a chance to be released (or released improperly). Jackets (57,065) by Lara from Middle East Her latest outfits have all been with jackets. Personally I didn't find it was needed in all outfits (i.e. "The Intern" premiere). Maybe it's her shoulder that's dislocated again. Recurrence is a common complication. (Saturday 3 October 2015; 0:33)

Mariah at the intern premiere (56,850) by Lara from Middle East Anne hathaway's reaction was so cute. I already love her as an actress, now I love her even more. It's so good to see all these younger artists mentioning Mariah. Justin, Katy and now Anne. Add the GOW commercial, it's reintroducing Mariah to the new listeners. New collaboration (55,705) by Lara from Middle East Seems it's gonna be an Infinity remix. Well, I can't be sad since the original version didn't really hit our radios here (only this week I've heard it twice and I've only heard it once before, a month ago). Mariah has been known for making remixes that are better than the original recordings, and in Infinity's case, this should be easy, the song is missing something that I can't point. Other fav artists / latest live performance (55,403) by Lara from Middle East Savage Garden, The Corrs and Matchbox Twenty. I loved to listen to those artists (beside Mariah) when I started to listen to English songs. I loved Destiny's Child and early Beyonce, now I enjoy Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars and Adele. The last videos posted from her Vegas show are amazing. I guess that vacation was really helpful in lifting her spirits. She was just wow. (Wednesday 22 July 2015; 16:45)

Video / re-release and other stuffs (54,051) by Lara from Middle East Finally the video is here and it didn't live up to its hype. From the sneak peeks I would've expected more. It just doesn't flow (maybe because the song by itself has also so many variations?). If it's a promo for her residency, then fine. Now what's next? I don't want a re-release of her Merry Christmas album, if they are gonna do a re-release, let it be with all the underrated gems that never got to be singles like "Migrate", "You don't know what to do", "Underneath the stars (on top of my head)" and let the social media pick a single out of it to get a video from. Maybe this is why her team waited that much, not to mention Taylor Swift video could've shadowed hers if it was released earlier. Liz I agree if that article is true (partially probably) it's scary. Although I think a lot changed since then, especially now Mariah has her twins. Still, I think part of that bubble exists and the article about her Disneyland outing is a sign of it. Where's the video? (53,521) by Lara from Middle East Enough with the teasing, drop it. They hyped it so much so I hope it's worth the wait. Finally I've heard Infinity on the car radio here at 4:00 am. She posted on instagram her singing Touch My Body on the Kimmel mini concert (and Roc is so cute clinging to his mom) but I have seen her video where she sang the same medley of the BBMAs (only much better) and no Touch My Body, so I'm confused. I said it before, I'm imagining her packing her stuff and starting a new life with no one else than Nick Cannon taking the role of the ex. I don't get all the negativity on the board. I don't like Infinity that much, she can do better, but she also has done worse. I wish YDKWTD was given all this hype, it could've done great (it has the same vibe of Uptown Funk, but same time it's great to finally hear a good song from her without having to wait more than a minute to hear her sing). Mmmm (52,321) by Lara from Middle East Not feeling it that much. There's no real melody in it. The lyrics are hilarious and I think this is the only thing that can help the song to chart. They're using the lyrics to the max (hence the lyric video) and the controversy it could cause to gain popularity. About the lyrics video, I wonder why she used snippets from the Honey clip.
