About Lara from Middle East: I discovered Mariah with "always be my baby"...Got hooked by "my all"..didnt know it was the same artist back then..I couldn't (yet) understand what she was singing! Since then, I've been a big fan and rediscovered her catalogue and appreciate her even more...Searching for her lyrics was my way to learn english :)

Other fav artists / latest live performance (55,403) by Lara from Middle East Savage Garden, The Corrs and Matchbox Twenty. I loved to listen to those artists (beside Mariah) when I started to listen to English songs. I loved Destiny's Child and early Beyonce, now I enjoy Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars and Adele. The last videos posted from her Vegas show are amazing. I guess that vacation was really helpful in lifting her spirits. She was just wow. (Wednesday 22 July 2015; 16:45)

Video / re-release and other stuffs (54,051) by Lara from Middle East Finally the video is here and it didn't live up to its hype. From the sneak peeks I would've expected more. It just doesn't flow (maybe because the song by itself has also so many variations?). If it's a promo for her residency, then fine. Now what's next? I don't want a re-release of her Merry Christmas album, if they are gonna do a re-release, let it be with all the underrated gems that never got to be singles like "Migrate", "You don't know what to do", "Underneath the stars (on top of my head)" and let the social media pick a single out of it to get a video from. So what's next? / Liz (53,767) by Lara from Middle East Now that the first leg of her residency is over, I think now is the time to drop the new video and promote it. Maybe this is why her team waited that much, not to mention Taylor Swift video could've shadowed hers if it was released earlier. Liz I agree if that article is true (partially probably) it's scary. Although I think a lot changed since then, especially now Mariah has her twins. Still, I think part of that bubble exists and the article about her Disneyland outing is a sign of it. Where's the video? (53,521) by Lara from Middle East Enough with the teasing, drop it. They hyped it so much so I hope it's worth the wait. Finally I've heard Infinity on the car radio here at 4:00 am. She posted on instagram her singing Touch My Body on the Kimmel mini concert (and Roc is so cute clinging to his mom) but I have seen her video where she sang the same medley of the BBMAs (only much better) and no Touch My Body, so I'm confused. Video (52,812) by Lara from Middle East People, lets suppose Mariah is checking this board, what would be your ideas for the new video? Lets discuss it while we're waiting for the real stuff. I said it before, I'm imagining her packing her stuff and starting a new life with no one else than Nick Cannon taking the role of the ex. I don't get all the negativity on the board. I don't like Infinity that much, she can do better, but she also has done worse. I wish YDKWTD was given all this hype, it could've done great (it has the same vibe of Uptown Funk, but same time it's great to finally hear a good song from her without having to wait more than a minute to hear her sing). Mmmm (52,321) by Lara from Middle East Not feeling it that much. There's no real melody in it. The lyrics are hilarious and I think this is the only thing that can help the song to chart. They're using the lyrics to the max (hence the lyric video) and the controversy it could cause to gain popularity. About the lyrics video, I wonder why she used snippets from the Honey clip. Why the silence? (50,233) by Lara from Middle East No recent news, just gossip. No explanations, just performances going wrong. Most of the media attack would shut down if Mariah would go public and explain what s really happening. She s a human, she goes through bad times, why acting like everything is ok and like you're untouchable? It only makes it harder for her. Side Effects part 2 (49,143) by Lara from Middle East With all these negativity around Mariah, I can't wait for her to come out with lyrics like "Side effects" and " I wish you well". I hope that she'll be less elusive on the Ellen show, I would like to have her side of the story even though it's none of our business, but because the silence is playing against her. As for the Vegas residency, I think this is a step done for her children, especially if a trial for custody is going on, she will be the one with stable home (and income lol). Tour / random thoughts (47,473) by Lara from Middle East We barely see news about Mariah's tour. Apart from the first gig which was relatively bad. I got no feedback on her other perfomances (vocally, not "clothingly" lol ). You can see that her performances are getting better, but sadly this isn't reported. She sang My All in Spanish, for a change, no comments from the press. Even on YouTube, videos are scarce. Surprisingly I haven't seen any video reporting her singing her new "elusive" songs. I read the comments about her voice. Yes, it has changed, she seems to have more difficulty to sing like before, but still she's singing better than anyone now on the scene. I wonder if her vocal cords got injured when she [censored] and if she had surgery for her shoulder, they could have been further damage done? Finally, I love her interaction with her backup singers, they re doing a great job. (Friday 17 October 2014; 10:36)

The press is reporting Nick is very sad while Mariah is looking freat and is all smiles. Seems a good description no? "Betcha Gon' Know oh how it feels when I get you back. Back up singers (46,736) by Lara from Middle East I accidently just heard Babyface "Only when I close my eyes" with Mariah vocal's on the background. I wonder is there any other artist that has a special relation with his backup singer like Mariah has? If i'm not mistaken, they've been singing with her for 20 years, if not more (at least for Trey). She had a duet with Trey (twice) and one of his girls wrote Thirsty with her. I think Mariah really appreciate her backup singers because she once was just like them. (Thursday 11 September 2014; 9:26)

Re: Drew / album tracklist (46,652) by Lara from Middle East I definitely agree with you. I also think that Mariah had many different songs recorded. Her album was to be released shortly after #Beautiful but her shoulder injury happened and I think that's when their trouble in her marriage has escalated, Mariah probably feeling abandoned in her pain (while she was all the time with Nick during his lupus crisis). So she went back to the studio and recorded Faded, Thirsty and also probably Meteorite, Cry, YDKWTD, Money. All of these can be applied to Nick. And it's no coincidence (if the rumours are true) that Nick left home in May, when the album was released. (Saturday 6 September 2014; 18:03)
