We should expect more drama in lead up to Mariah's World. Anyway, cute pic of Mariah and Roc on her Instagram. I guess that means they are not in any kind of normal school.

That would be hilarious, I hope to see a few choice ones. Hahaha. I choose to laugh these days, esp. when this stuff just goes over the top. I hope everyone important is OK, though and that is M. and the kids in this scenario. Maybe Stellar should post a pic of herself in AP along with her new boobies, allegedly.

I agree Licia, especially because they know what these Daily Mail posts and IG posts do, which is generate "interest" and they don't care if it is good or bad. M. and her team want the reactions, the noise. That seems to be the relevancy that Stellar brags about generating.

Brexit and Westboro Baptist (66,270)

They might just be opposites of the same coin, so that's balance. Lol. Anyway, Mariah has been wearing Agent Provacateur for quite some time, she wore it on the cover of Wonderland Magazine right around the time MIAMTEC was released. And an early mention was by M. herself when she shared this little snap of Roe in her shoes. It is excessive, but I don't remember people going off then as they are now. She did not share the open bra IG posts until this crew came along, so that is new. I try not to mention M's attire much, except to acknowledge what is IMO her poor taste in clothing of all types. Here is a viral campaign idea, lambs pose in lingerie and tweet the pics to MC. It could be wild.

Exactly, most people really do care, but some take the insults way too far. I believe Mariah does consider the constructive criticism when it reaches her. Consider the petition which was positive and constructive, yet it got bashed by a lot of Lambs, but I think everyone noticed when M. tweeted recently. At least it seemed like her.

Yeah I was sorry to hear it too. They gave it a good shot though and I can appreciate that they seem to be handing things very privately. There have been no real tabloid drama, except for that incident in a club a couple years ago. I like that Mary is just moving forward professionally without making this a talking point. So far they are being very respectful. Of course she will probably have some amazing songs on her next project.

MJB (66,196)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|

Wow, Mary J. Blige will be working with Dianne Warren on her next CD and they did the View's new theme song together. MJB will also have a role on How To Get Away With Murder this fall. Nice to see her moving forward doing positive things even in the midst of her own divorce announcement. She is also going on tour with Maxwell. Mariah has her own, sometimes haphazard way of doing things. Ultimately, I just hope Mariah will get some good results and the wrong stuff will safely fall away. I just wish M. didn't seem to have such extended and sometimes clumsy "rollouts".

Stellar, Bran Flake and DJ Snufalupagus have all been more low key for the past couple of months. Collectively, they made M. look most messy IMO. This whole era just seems about making noise and seeing what gets the most reaction good and bad, IMO. Stellar allegedly got her boobs done, Flaky broke his leg and JD is back in the forefront. Who knows what the final result will be. Lol.

Fan favorite is a stretch B. Lol. I bought it and like a lot of MIAM, but I'm still upset about the millions of her fans who did not even pick it up then and still haven't. She is going to have to be a lot less specific and more universal in her song appeal in order to get her next music on radio and out to the general public next go around. Unless of course she is just putting out music for the die hard fans and the music thieves who listen and critique without paying.

She might not blindly trust him, but he is the label head then and now. Lol. He also did make the winning decision that she needed one more big record for TEOM, then she came up with We Belong Together. Oh and *whispers* who the hell is Annabelle?

Do you have any redeeming qualities? That was a rude rhetorical question, but you knew that. Mariah is one of the greatest singers and she is a beautifully flawed human being, as are we all.

I agree about the siblings. They are lost indeed. It would be awesome if she could tell them how she feels, for some closure, but they would only use her words against her and try to sell even more stories to the tabloids. She may end up helping them, but I understand if she does not. She must feel like Joseph with the coat of many colors, sold out by siblings. Only in the end he did what he was "supposed" to do. But Mariah is human and this ain't the Bible, lol. Forgive them, but give space, a whole lot of space.

Oh yeah I know and I forgot to mention Obsessed with Gucci Mane. We heard most of it except the MJB one and R. Kelly collabo. I would actually love the hear the T. Pain Candy Bling remix though, not that it would have gone anywhere. Supposedly that one was to have used "Blame It". I wish they had not spoken so soon of a remix to the project which had just been released. That whole thing went wrong, even though there was some good music.

Beyonce gets all kinds of backlash throughout the web including cops threatening to boycott her tour. She just doesn't get discussed much on this Mariah Carey messageboard, as it should be. Lol. I do wish people would refrain from name calling and slurs though even when the pictures are appalling to some.

On no you didn't with the TMZ Mary video lol. I just hope our Mimi is ok and puts out some good music. I also hope she is enjoying being a mommy and that dem babies are well and good too. The other players can kick rocks with no sock for all I care. I like Nick too though and hope he will continue to be a good presence in their lives. They need more than an entourage can ever offer, that is for sure.

I noticed she seems to be tweeting since yesterday. She tweeted a reference to TD Jakes. I am just wishing for the best for Mariah and her kids. I wish she wanted a piece of time for quiet reflection, or at least out of the limelight, but I don't think she wants that. The end of The Goddess is on YouTube, in fact I think the whole movie is up. You have to reference the actress Kim Stanley and the title and it should pop up. The ending is of her being enabled to exist while working to the bone and maintaining the facade.

Wow, I missed this article last year, but so funny that yesterday I came accross this video of Mariah and Roc at this very event. Here is Mariah being "non-political" not sure what Rocky is saying but he sure speaks his mind. Gotta love that tough guy.

Or, it was the most feasible way to release a couple of those old Angels Advocate remixes that people wanted to hear. Neither of them were worth the wait IMO though. Mary J. added nothing and R. Kelly on Betcha Gon' Know added no appeal. The original of both songs were far better. Neyo on Angel's Cry was mediocre and Trey Songz on Inseperable also added nothing IMO. She had been teasing Memoirs remixes from almost day one of the Memoirs release. Lot of missteps.

I know, I've seen it and it is campy and heart wrenching. Yes there are lots of parallels, from the drinking to the shallow associations. Spoiler alert, the goddess ends up sedated and watched over by her keeper and only a blank shell of herself. Check the clip I linked on a previous post.
