Mariah's "friend" Brett Ratner (71,103) by Mushaakiss from UAE Hey everyone, not a regular on here but thought I'd share a point of view. We know that she met James packer through her friend Brett Ratner and we've watched how that whole thing went down with her being dumped with quite a bit of negative media surrounding her and how it must've been her fault and the whole ring/inconvenience feel fiascoes etc. She also said that she met Stella through, again, her friend Brett Ratner and it's so evident how Stella is steering that sinking ship and how Stella seems determined to find a pit so deep so she can bury Mariah's career so it could never ever be recovered. I don't know you guys. I smell a rat... her involvement lol. I mean if he's a friend why would he keep pushing ugly people on her number one, number two, why would he set her up with lying, conniving, deceitful people that are only out for themselves and have everything to gain while Mariah has everything to lose? The only thing I learned from Mariah's World is that Mariah is simple minded, delusiounal and a effin pushover. Yet somehow people have convinced her that she's actually in control. Smh. Look at the reviews they did for her albums. The most she ever got was 3.5 out of 5 stars if I remember correctly, and I remember her most successful albums received even lower ratings like e.g. TEOM. Album ideas for Mariah's future projects (54,685) by Mushaakiss from UAE I was listening to some 70s and 80s hits recently and I know Mariah has done many remakes over the years, Without You, IWKWLI, BOTHB, Open Arms, AAO, etc, but she hadn't done a full album of remakes which I think would be a [...] addition to her catalogue. She doesn't need to always have to make new music, she's done that for years and maybe it's time to take a little break from that or maybe just as she did with #1s To Infinity, include 1, maybe 2 new songs, but not more. Would be [...] if the added songs are some unreleased songs from her earlier work. Would be a nice surprise. Another album I'd like to hear is a duets album including some big names she's always respected and has [...] chemistry with. Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, Aretha, Mary J. and I'm sure there are many others that people would like to hear her duet with. She needs to do something different and put out easy listens not worrying about charts and all of that nonsense. She's an established megastar and unless she works to please teenagers who currently impact the charts, she wouldn't be able to please everyone. IMO albums like that will reconnect her with her real fans and maybe make new younger fans appreciate how beautiful music can be without all the raunchiness and rather forgettable music on the airwaves right now. Patti vs Mariah (53,571) by Mushaakiss from UAE Hey guys, I'm not sure if anybody noticed or brought this up, but Patti recently named Beyonce as the artist who has the most staying power in the music business and I was expecting her to say Mariah just because of how strong of a relationship they always had. On the other hand, on Kimmel, Mariah randomly praised Aretha Franklin. And while I know Aretha and Patti had a falling out, has something happened between Mariah and Patti because I feel tension? Excitement building (52,983) by Mushaakiss from UAE I'm just catching up with everything that has happened during the past day and it seems that a lot of things have happened. Where to start? She sounded phenomenal in the leaked audio snippets of of her Vegas show, the interview she did with Michael Strahan was fun and exciting much like her interviews back when and her Frito pie segment was hilarious. I just couldn't contain the laughter. She's hitting all the right notes and I'm not only talking musically, but everything. She's relaxed, having fun, non of that dahling business lol just good old eternally 12 years old Mariah. It's like as soon as she shifted to Sony, her real personality took charge of her. So exited. Truce anyone? (52,706) by Mushaakiss from UAE It's one thing voicing opinions on a matter whether it be with or against something, but man this message board has turned into a blood bath. And it's lambs slaughtering lambs. No pun intended. Ok so the song has polarized fans, but at the end of the day it's already out there and Mariah and the record label went with it so it's now up to the public, performance wise. On iTunes it's already falling fast if that's any indication, and on YouTube it's somewhere around 2.5 million views as a lyrics video alone. Maybe things will turn out fine or maybe it'll be another failed single that won't change the fact that this is done and we're stuck with it. Good thing is that it's not a new album lead track, it's just an added song to a compilation. I do understand where everyone is coming from and there's truth in what's been argued about from both sides, but maybe we shouldn't turn against each other. (Friday 1 May 2015; 23:31)

There's an end to infinity (52,330) by Mushaakiss from UAE Reading some of the comments reminds me of when TMB came out lol but it still managed to hit #1. Having said that, people are trying to understand the song by comparison with other songs that they relate to but wait a while and you'll see, this song is no YME. I personally love it. I think it's cleverly written, amazingly sung in Mariah's distinct way. I can only critique the production a little, it seems to take some shine of of Mariah's voice but other than that, the song is spot on. The anthem is kickass and much needed for many of us who feel trapped or lost because they can't move on. Life goes on and this is a great way to celebrate freedom from any sort of breakup, be it a relationship, a dead end job, or whatever else you need to move on from. Great job MC. Up Out My Face Nick (52,147) by Mushaakiss from UAE I was listening to this song as I was driving home and the lyrics just got me thinking how odd that this song was years ago and yet with the news of Nick allegedly trying to get back with Mariah and that alleged statement made that Mariah likes him but she will never ever wanna get back with him it seems as if UOMF is on point with this rumor lol. Infinity (51,544) by Mushaakiss from UAE I'm not sure if it's Infinity or #Infinity lol but I'm so happy she's back to one word titles that right there is a good sign imo. Things seem to be shaping up for MC and it's about time she reclaimed her rightful place at the top and show the world how it's done. Exciting times ahead so brace yourselves lambs.
