I think the tech team requires singers to lip sync because the float/parade can't handle a proper mic feed and maintain good sound quality. Mariah herself said in an interview regarding her stronger pregnancy vocals, that it completely inspired her musically. Her voice is music. Wooden Mariah (56,229) by Stella Lewis from USA I know her voice has sounded great in Vegas, but during her live performances Mariah seems wooden sometimes. I think it is because she is aware of her voice and its limitations (nodules/damage). She is thinking carefully about that next note and how to hit it. I miss carefree Mariah. I know voice surgery is a huge risk but I wish she would reconsider it. Imagine if she did surgery and it was a success, I think I would cry tears of happiness. To see her 100% confident on the stage, completely owning it. Mary J Blige recently performed with Taylor and she sounded great, with lots of energy. (Monday 24 August 2015; 4:56)

In one of them, she's wearing a skimpy bikini top and her boobs are on full display. She's not in her 20's and 30's, and the pic is rather unflattering in my opinion. It's an open invitation for nasty comments from haters. I just wish she would cover up more often. I love the long black dress that she wore on the day out with James and her kids. No one seemed to like it, calling it a hot mess etc. Honestly, I kinda agree with them. It was sub-par by Mariah standards. Behind the scenes video (55,709) by Stella Lewis from USA French Montana is clearly hammered. Mariah seems out of it too, especially when she grabbed that shell lol. Or Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I am, because she really shouldn't be drinking alcohol often. It will dry out her vocal chords and it really isn't good for her voice. (Wednesday 5 August 2015; 15:01)

French Montana collaboration (55,608) by Stella Lewis from USA Okay, we all know that it was Mariah who popularized and pioneered this "rent a rapper" trend. But at this stage in her career, even if the song is a surprise smash, it will be harder for her to top the charts. Mariah is looking good, but not as hot as she did during the E=MC2 era. She's 5 years shy from turning 50. This is such an age-ist industry, and if she were to make a music video acting like she's still in her 20's with her recent weight gain, people would just pick on her more. Compare this with her Almost Home soundtrack, she looks very elegant and classy in that video. For Mariah to make another number 1 single, that songs needs to have great vocals and lyrics. It needs to be a classy song that makes people actually pay attention to her singing. Her voice has been improving so much throughout her residency, and I would much rather have her work with a vocal coach, and come back out once she's truly ready with an even stronger voice with resonant belts. Dreamlover lip sync (55,505) by Stella Lewis from USA Okay. Don't get me wrong, she's been sounding great in LTT, IDWC, Vision Of Love, etc. But I feel as if Mariah is lip singing Dreamlover. Climax of Hero live MSG (when her belts are even higher than the recorded version). Live 96' performances of VOL in Rotterdam and Tokyo Dome, her melisma in the word "all" in the ending climax.
