Ok from what I've seen with many TD reactions outside of the lamb reactions, they've all had positive reviews with the song and video, with the exception of 2 reviews saying "she's too old to be making this type of music" and "this song is corny af". During reactions, at times they would pause the video, speak, rewind and as the songs plays, most of them would sing along, as if they already knew the song. This song, whether it charts high or not, is a catchy song. A lot of the reactors even mentioned wanting to hear more new music from her. Mind you, these weren't lambs. So what I'm trying to say is, we might not get exactly another Mimi era with the second single being massive, but if she continues to drop good songs, with great videos and heavy promo, the gp will eventually catch on to her music again, with the possibility of gaining another comeback era. But she needs to stay consistent. A remix should've been dropped already. Guess we'll have to wait and see and just enjoy her wonderful catalog.

Aside from a "not so" behind the scenes of TDang mv dropping 2 days ago, everything's been quiet. Not sure if that's a good idea. Read somewhere her numbers are dropping quickly. Her and her team should release something quick to keep the momentum up, maybe a remix or even leak another song. I'm hoping for an album release date.

Ok after watching the video about a hundred times, I'm really loving it. It's visually stunning, she looks beautiful and if you're a lamb and get the references, it's hilarious. If this Mr. Beast is really that popular and will get the GP to watch the video just for that, after a while, the song will catch on. It has that summer vibe to it. Idk if it's because I'm a fan and I'll pretty much support any song she drops, but the song is extremely catchy. It won't stop playing in my head lol.

Finally got to watch the video, watched it twice. So, my complete honesty, the video was alright. For a Mariah video, it was better than expected but I can't say it was worth the wait. I did enjoy it but tbh I was more excited when Victoria Monet dropped the vid for Alright, and I barely know her music. As someone already mentioned, it felt more nostalgic with the rehash visuals of ILT, TGIFY remix, Breakdown, ISIL, The Roof and With You. And a hint of Britney's Toxic. I felt like too much was going on in the video. Maybe it'll grow on me. I've heard the name Mr. Beast many times but still don't know anything about him. I don't know him but from what I'm seeing in reaction videos, they're going crazy when they see him pop up in the video, apparently he's that famous and someone in the comments mentioned he has over 400 million followers which might actually translate better for exposure. I have a feeling there will be a remix and video dropping very soon. I was hoping for a Cardi or Glo remix but I think it'll just be Rakim, but we'll see.

Makes sense I guess lol I think the media will drop tonight at midnight, if not then idk. Who knows, maybe the "earth-shattering" surprise is that she'll pull a Beyoncé and give us visuals for this song in 10 years. I'm really hoping for a Cardi B. or Glorilla remix, along with the Rakim remix that I'm sure is already in the works.

It was taken from the sample, Eric B. is President, but the remix version. That voice was added to the remix on the Paid in Full album as a shout-out to radio DJs who helped push the record, and wasn't on the original 12" single. I'm not sure who the original lady on that track is.

Hello everyone. I've been following this site probably since it first started, maybe late 90s, idk tbh lol I have to say, I haven't been this excited about MC's releases in a very long time. I'm loving the rollout and that she's actually putting in the work to promo. I also agree the next single should be an uptempo to keep the momentum. I feel like because it's Mariah, she's expected to since powerful on a ballad, so if her new voice is the new direction, it probably wouldn't work well to gain the GP's attention. I'm really hoping for a 20th and 21st #1 beating The Beatles before she retires. It is literally 2:11am and I'm stressing, waiting for this mv to drop. I can't wait.
