Changing the subject... I'm just watching a Madonna interview here in the UK, and whilst her behaviour over recent years has been questionable it's nice to see that she's still coherent and can hold a conversation with the interviewer. She's both relaxed and engaged and relatable. This is as we've said where Mariah is going wrong, the body of work she produced for [Here for it all] was great but you can't connect with her on a regular level. Madonna is drawing me in as I'm able to connect with her and who she was is still there, she's still the Madonna we know. If Mariah could get back to that level of connection I'm sure she could draw more people into her new music. I really think that should be her main focus now, have someone to manage her persona as such, get her more connected with her audience again and get her back to who she was and who people know. If it means disappearing for a year or so completely to get herself back then so be it.
