The discography is back online

Last week I uploaded the new layout for the Mariah Carey Archives. The website is now responsive, which means it automatically adjust to your screen (be it a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone). Because it was too much work to do this for the discopgraphy, I deleted this section from my website. But I never realised how many fans still visited the discography.

Numaan Chohan wrote "Where has the discography section of your website gone? I use it nearly every week. Can you please put it up again?" Bas Rosier added, "I think you probably will be amazed how many people use it. It's like if it isn't on MCArchives, it is not right (for items until 2010)."

Someone even posted a desperate plea. "OK Mariah Carey collectors, I need your help please. I recently discovered that MCArchives have shut down their back catalogue (discography) information on every single and album Mariah has ever released. [...] I now find myself a bit lost. Is there another site on the net that chronicles all Mariah releases? Hope someone can help."

I decided to put the discogaphy back online, albeit in the old layout. This doesn't mean I will update the discography in the near future. When the record company decided not to release physical copies of singles, I lost interest in collecting everything Mariah has ever released. Also, the promo copies became very cheap, the days of beautiful promos with different covers and rare tracks were gone. Furthermore, some fans were sending me fake items (although they didn't know the items were fake) and got mad when I decided not to post these items.

So I hope you enjoy the discography. If you have a question regarding an item listed, please don't ask me about it but leave a message on the messageboard.

Hello Eric. I am super glad you decided to put the discography section back online. After all these years it is still my go to list to check when I need to. I would love it if you decided to update the catalogue because there are some old releases that are missing. Let me know if you need help with this, you can count on me.

The discography. Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting it back up. So many of us appreciate it. I would be so appreciated if you could update it. Aren't the only official label releases since your last update (which was "Playlist: the very best of Mariah Carey"): The Essential Mariah Carey (no singles), Me I am Mariah... The elusive Chanteuse ("#Beautiful", "The Art of Letting Go", "You're Mine (Eternal)", "You Don't Know What To Do"), and #1 To Infinity ("Infinity"). I understand the disappointment in the physicality to music evolving into some thing less tangible, and not as enjoyable to interact with (I have the same frustration). I would personally love the updated because this was the one site that had such a comprehensive list. Please don't give up.
