Newly engaged Caesars Palace headliner and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer Mariah Carey celebrated the end of her current run of "Mariah #1 to Infinity" at the Colosseum hosting a party Saturday night at 1 OAK in the Mirage. Carey, who is engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, was all smiles when she arrived at the nightspot shortly after midnight.
Before making her way into 1 OAK, the singer stopped and wowed fans and photographers in a stunning Roberto Cavalli metallic mini-dress while showing off her ginormous engagement ring and gorgeous gams. The star was glowing while she talked with media about the success of her Strip headliner show, engagement (Carey was previously married to music mogul Tommy Mottola and actor, singer and TV personality Nick Cannon) and upcoming European tour.
As hundreds of fans gathered to see Carey, she stopped to take photographs with a few admirers and blew kisses to all as they cheered her name while she made her way into 1 OAK. Inside the nightclub, Carey joined friends and family as she settled into a VIP table behind the DJ booth while DJ Suss One greeted the elusive chanteuse in true Las Vegas fashion.
The energy was infectious as the nightclub transformed into a glamorous tribute to the star as the DJ played Carey's hits, including "Touch My Body", "Obsessed", "It's Like That" and more. Carey was still all smiles as she waved to fans in the nightclub while the crowd and she sang and danced along to her songs.
A parade of cocktail waitresses presented Carey with a pink, white and gold chevron-patterned cake with glitter and rhinestones (no butterflies?). Carey held up the cake and posed for photographs with her entourage. The group was seen in high spirits dancing, singing, taking selfies and enjoying champagne before departing before 2 a.m. Sunday.
