She may be a diva on television screens, but Mariah Carey does have time to take a photo with fans every now and then. Carey and Lionel Richie performed for Texans in Dallas and Houston over the weekend. She said she was kidding, but Mariah Carey's advice to Lionel Richie was pretty clear: don't do American Idol. Ouch.
While in Dallas, she snapped a sweet photo with a group of fans on Instagram. During her show at the Toyota Center in Houston, the singer was able to nab an amazing photo of glowing cell phones and perfectly-positioned spotlights. Houston Chronicle music critic Joey Guerra seemed impressed by Carey's performance, calling it "sweet, sincere and still so very Carey".
