R&b superstar Mariah Carey has just unveiled the new song "The Star", her contribution to the soundtrack for the original motion park film of the same name. The project is set to arrive in stores October 27th, 2017. The movie itself is set to arrive in theaters worldwide on November 17th.
Co-written by Marc Shaiman, the title track glows as an empowering, engaging, and emboldening anthem for dreamers everywhere. Carey's voice soars to heavenly heights as she delivers the bright refrain "Follow that star." With a dash of timeless Christmas spirit, it's right at home in her catalog of holiday classics.
The visual for the song is also expected to arrive soon. In the meantime, Mariah is also working on a new album which will release via her recently launched Butterfly MC Records label.
