Mariah Carey is supporting Stonewall Day

Mariah Carey has teamed with the social advocacy organization Pride Live to support their celebration of Stonewall Day.

"Happy to team with RealPrideLive to support Stonewall Day, working in the fight for full LGBTQ+ equality and its beneficiaries translashmedia and TransTechSocial. Donate now for a fun prize pack," Carey wrote in a tweet on Monday (June 28) announcing a very special Pride offer for the Lambily.

Stonewall Day honors the Stonewall Rebellion, a series of demonstrations by members of the LGBTQ+ community in Greenwich Village, New York, following a June 28, 1969, police raid at the Stonewall Inn in what is often called the launch pad for the modern gay rights movement in the United States.

In celebration of the 52nd anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, Mariah is offering to follow one fan on Instagram and then send them an autographed Pride merch pack. Back in May, Carey got fans ready for Pride month by debuting a new line of merch that includes shirts, sweatshirts, socks, and hats with her name written in rainbow letters.

The new line also includes items referencing her 1999 album Rainbow, her 2001 film Glitter, her 2001 single "Loverboy" and a rainbow fan with the word "shade".
