The Songbird Supreme feels grateful to be considered for a slot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. After Mariah Carey was announced as one of the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees alongside Lenny Kravitz, Cher, Mary J. Blige, Sade and more musicians over the weekend, the "We Belong Together" singer-songwriter reacted to the honor in a social media post.
"Beyond excited and thrilled to be among these legendary nominees for this year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction," wrote Carey, 54, in a Sunday post on Instagram. "Congratulations to all!"
Kravitz, 59, reflected on his longtime friendship with Carey in a comment on her post, writing, "Congratulations! We've come a long way. Honored to share yet another experience with you."
