Some of Mariah Carey's fans forgot to bring the spirit of the holiday with them when they attended her concert in Baltimore on Saturday night. As the singer, 55, attempted to spread Christmas cheer during her latest tour, a number of rowdy audience members may have landed on the naughty list for their bad behavior during her show.
The nasty brawl, uploaded on TMZ, broke out at the diva's performance at the CFG Bank Arena. Witnesses at the scene told the outlet that the physical altercation involved four or five people and escalated quickly after a drink was thrown.
The unruly concertgoers' fight reportedly took place while the chorus was filling time until the All I Want for Christmas Is You singer returned to the stage for her final song. Several punches were thrown and one person was said to have been put into a dangerous headlock.
Witnesses say security came to intervene and put an end to the chaos. No reason was given for what started the fight. Security apparently decided to handle the incident on their own and police were not called. Carey seemed unaware of the clash and finished the concert without incident.
This latest fray comes after another violent interaction at the December 1 show at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. There two men are seen going at each other while a woman tries to push him away. Several other women were seen lashing out at each other in the clip shared on X/Twitter.
The Joy to the World singer didn't seem to be aware of any of the violence at that gig either. On Sunday, the performer posted two photos of herself dressed in a red and white Santa suit getting glammed up. "Christmastime tour, only 5 shows left! It's been such a joy celebrating the holidays with you all," she wrote.
