About Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter:

Re: Clapback at Wendy Williams (62,842) (62,844) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Regardless of that, my point was directed at King/Queen/Empress talking about how Mariah should clap back more often at Wendy and others who talk about it.

Re: Clapback at Wendy Williams (62,826) (62,837) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
And what be petty like her? That's the image you want for Mariah? Wendy says crap about a lot of celebs and they are above her so they don't even think it's necessary to respond to her. How many times have she talked crap about JLo? Or Angelina Jolie? She does it all the time. If Mariah starts stooping to Wendy's level what will be the difference between the two? If Mariah keeps responding to things like these, Wendy will have a ball and say that these are true so it is getting to Mariah. I will never understand why the "true lambs" always want Mariah to get down and dirty and be shady/petty. This isn't high school.

Re: Mariah's brand/image (62,822) (62,828) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I agree, the video was pretty sloppy and looked like an amateur job. I didn't like any part of it and using clips from "Honey" was unnecessary since it had no relation to the song. I remember at that time there was this rumor that she is doing a video that involves action and helicopters so I thought maybe they are doing an Agent M 2.0 so that would explain the old clips, but that turned out to be false. Why Mariah thought it was good enough to put out is beyond me. That's my views though, I would like to hear B's view. Why did you think it was brilliant? I want to know because I might have missed something and I sometimes have a change of heart when I hear another person's perspective different from mine.

Ya or "Collectively 12" since they all want to remain 12. Poor Sasha has to be 12 without even turning 12 yet.

Re: Scientology (62,810) (62,811) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Isn't "Eye of Horus" and the pentagram the symbols of the Illuminati? Or has the Illuminati and Scientology merged now? I don't think Stella is involved with these though, she is just a wanna be Kardashian who is trying to get some fame at Mariah's expense. Expense includes monetary situation too. That and a bad influence for Mariah and her kids. Plus isn't Nick deeply religious? How can he be involved with Scientology?

Female. There may or may not have been a hair flip accompanying the finger snap.

Re: Don't forget about blush (62,784) (62,797) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
"I'll be blushing you long time". "Blushers Cry". "Blush out my face". "Blush (I need you)". "Reflections (blush enough)". "Blush-lover come rescue me". "There's got to be a contour". "All my blush". "The art of blushing you". "Bringing on the blush-case".

Re: Don't forget about blush (62,782) (62,786) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Stella's blush/contour deserves it's own darn reality show. "Thank God I Blushed You". "Contour Takes Time". "Blush Be There". "Don't Stop (Blushing for America)".

Re: Stella (62,754) (62,770) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
That and the fact that she keeps encouraging the "shades" and "eternally 12" thing. Stella keeps highlighting the "I don't know her" diss a lot of times, and also the whole "eternally 12". Even saying Mishka is "eternally 12". Like what the fudge? Mishka is only 12. Give it a rest. In stead of being a kiss ass, Mariah needs someone that can guide her. It is true that Mariah may not like bossy people around her but she does need a strict guide and Stella is mostly just an enabler. Going "yass queen" on everything Mariah does, regardless of whether it's good or bad. I keep repeating that image is everything in this business, and Mariah's image is not fully on track.

Re: Mid life and career crisis (62,768) (62,769) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
It does make her sound weird during interviews especially when she is adamant about it and will refuse to accept her age no matter how the interviewer tries to spin it. The whole "VOL came out when I was in the womb" is silly. Most people would be proud to admit that "I have been in the business for 25 years and I am still relevant and am considered an icon". Plus this whole "scared to accept she is growing older" will definitely affect Roc and Roe's perception too since they look up to her so much.

Article: Mariah Carey leaves little to the imagination (62,747) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Oh good Lord, Mariah why? Are those shades completely opaque and did she dress while wearing the shades? Because what else made her think it was a good fashion choice? This is in no way sexy. It's straight up trashy. Seriously with closets bigger than most people's apartment and the biggest designers as her friends, why would she wear this? Where on earth is her stylist?

Re: Mariah-Lee video (62,738) (62,739) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
The video was cute, but the tag? Not so much. Why stoop to Wendy's level? But like I said in my post if she is going on the show then I get the tag, but if she tagged Wendy as a backlash, that's unnecessary because a much more effective way would have been to just post the video and that's it. Shows Lee and Mariah are still friends no matter how Wendy tries to spin it.

Correction (62,728) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I meant 2008's "Touch My Body" not 2009's "Obsessed".

Re: These people (62,719) (62,727) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I laughed so hard when I read "She will think Christmas came early". Why was the tag even necessary? Are we now going to engage in social media feuds? Seriously what is going on? Wendy will have the best time reporting this. She finally got "directly" referenced by Mariah after 2009's "Obsessed". This was an unnecessary move. Just post the video and that's it. I said it before I'll say it again, get the 13 year old and her 13 year old level minded mother off Mariah's social media and hire professionals otherwise we will get more petty posts and Mariah will be the one being laughed at.

Re: Clapback at Wendy Williams (62,721) (62,726) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Yes the whole "Don't come for us" thing is a little too aggressive for Mariah. The best way to shut down someone is to pretend they don't exist. To post 3 consecutive videos about this Wendy comment kind of makes it look like this thing got to her. Which it shouldn't because Wendy has said far worse about her and she never flinched.

Mariah-Lee video (62,725) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
The video is cute and fun but why is Wendy tagged in the caption? I didn't notice it first but she is tagged in both the Facebook and Instagram posts. Is she going to the show to promote her docu-series or did she write that as a response to Wendy's claim that Lee was dissing Mariah? Because since when does Mariah take anything Wendy say seriously? Even if she does she never responds to it, which keeps her above Wendy. If she is going on the show, well then the tag is fine (I don't know how I feel about her going there, I mean Wendy might faint and all). But if this is a Wendy backlash, then it's a no no from me. But yes, the video is cute. Love seeing carefree Mariah and Lee.

Re: Hashtag (62,710) (62,712) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
It is mainly their nicknames for each other. Lee is "Cotton" and Mariah is "Kitten". I forgot why it started but ya it's what they nicknamed each other. If Stella has the hashtag in her account then it's possible the photo has Mariah and Lee.

Re: This wacko fan is back at it again (62,699) (62,700) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I think Amber was talking about body doubles in day to day lives. Like Michael Jackson used to use body doubles as a decoy. In "Obsessed" it was obviously required since Mariah was playing both roles. The woman also doubled for her in the shots where she was doing the photoshoot in the hotel room while "Male Mariah" was fanning her hair.

Re: This wacko fan is back at it again (62,686) (62,689) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Depending on the camera angle a person can look completely different in different photos. The body changes can be explained away by the fit of the dress and the use of body shaping undergarments. Pretty sure she doesn't use a body double.

Re: Stella (62,671) (62,675) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I too am glad to see a lot of people speaking out against Stella now. Previously only few of us were talking about it and then 10 people would come and slaughter us. Now people are finally seeing through this facade. I am not taking the blame off Mariah, because she should have known better but I am glad people are seeing that Stella is not all that she was hyped up to be and clearly has other agendas.

Re: Everything but the music (62,650) (62,653) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Marissa, the only way anyone can get their point to Mariah is by saying it to her directly when they see her out on the streets. Mariah seems to have absolutely no touch with what the internet is saying and the Bulochnikovs sure as hell won't tell Mariah what we said about them. Heck they are making her social media accounts their own by posting their own pictures there. The last picture of the 4 of them on Mariah's Instagram, do you think Mariah would ever allow that unflattering picture to be posted? Would Mariah be cool with captioning her photo "Nobu Nobu Nobu Nobu" like she has never been there before? She not only has handed over these to her team, she turned a blind eye to everything. So the only way is some fan either yelling out concerns when Mariah is passing by or handing out a letter to her personally. Well now that Stella will read this message, we can't also get away with that haha.

Why do all of MC's close friends speak out? (62,652) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
This is something that I have been wondering. J.D. spoke out post MiAM and now Lee Daniels. When J.D. spoke out Mariah seemingly stopped being friends with him. Now when Lee spoke, Mariah said "she doesn't care", while Stella was yelling in the background. Why do these people speak out in public and not to Mariah directly? J.D. and Lee have known Mariah for years and they all seem to genuinely love each other so I will not believe that they are trying to get headlines dissing Mariah. So that leaves us with one explanation. They probably do try to talk to her directly but she "dahlings" them out and sweeps it under the rug. So they go on record (no matter how questionable the move is) to try to get the point across to her. Same way we, the fans, are trying to find a way to our concerns to be noticed by her but are being filtered away by Stella's camp. Also really how much can I blame Stella? Obviously she will try to gain from her business, who wouldn't? It's Mariah who should have known better. She always has such a huge wall of entourage of people around her that her real friends probably find it hard to get in and so they are abandoned. Mariah is thus left with only people on her payroll as friends and we all know what that means. They would never tell her anything that would get them cut off from her payroll. There are other big stars out there like Beyoncé and Britney and although they also sometimes are seen with entourages, there are many times when they are not surrounded by people and have friends that are definitely not on their payroll. Also if Mariah does want to still get success with her newer albums, it's time she starts recording because this industry is ageist and the longer she delays, the less chance of her making any further impact.
