So just for fun I'm putting together a lil list of all the things I wish are gonna be Mariah's big announcement for 2015 and or beyond. 1. A European residency in London to celebrate her 25th anniversary. 2. Carbonated Butterfly drink released internationally using Thirsty as promo. 3. An annual Christmas Broadway show written and produced by MC. 4. The Bond theme, performed, written and produced by MC and a cameo role on screen. I think Bianca needs to dust off her wig for this one. 5.The debut album re-released with the original demos, live performances and unleseased tracks or remixes. 6. An autobiography, maybe as a three-part book series? Childhood - The Sony years - Post Glitter. 7. A cable miniseries about her life using the books as a template. 8. Crave Records 2.0 and an HBO tv documentary chronicling the journey of MC mentoring new artists and maybe giving forgotten one's a new chance. 9. A Christmas movie produced and written by MC with old and new music where she plays at least one of the characters. 10. A DVD to commemorate her 18 US #1's with video commentary on every song and how it came to be from inception to charting. Also, funny anecdotes in the bonus features and guest appearances with her collaborators through the years. What do you guys wish Mariah's big 2015 announcement will be about?" I'm doing another wish list for 2016 so I went back to see what I posted last year. So far, I'm a pretty happy Lamb since several of the things on my wish list came true at least partially already. YAY!

Billboard Music Awards hitlist (53,344) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End 1. They better be honouring Mariah with a unique award/plaque/trophy/ice sculpture. I am not here for them giving MC any JLo leftover accolade. That would mean they have been planning to shade her since last year? Why can't Mariah get the first Billboard Legacy Artist Award? 2. All this business of having nicknames all around Mariah is x 100 Maybe Stevie Nicks is giving her the Legend Award speech? 3. Emotions (Unplugged intro) and Infinity, with the lyrics video playing for the audience to sing along to. I'm so here for it. Anything else is just icing on the anniversary cake. 4. Arm candy? Whomever is the video hunk from Infinity OR Michael/Shawn/Morgan/Trey. 5. Attire: Anything black, fire engine red and sculpting. Must photograph well. She's been looking really really good lately so shout out to whomever the stylist she is collaborating with. I wonder if she still has a few of those Victor Alfaro dresses from the Music Box era in storage, you know the one she had on for her Endless Love performance with Luther at the Royal Albert Hall concert that had a tuxedo cut? But I know it's gonna be a mermaid moment because that's her thing right now so I'm here for that too. (Friday 15 May 2015; 15:51)

Mariah the firecracker is back (53,342) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End I just love how forthright and candid MC has been this past year. This LA Times piece is just jucier than watermelon. Whew, it's almost like a giant weight has been lifted off her shoulders and she's back to being her authentic self again. Her relaxed stance reminds me so much of the Butterfly promo era, especially the marvellous Molly Meldrum interview. This era of transparency is such a breath of fresh air after being stuck in what felt like the shallow end of a kiddy pool. That other genius "publicist" would have probably harrassed Mariah and made her delete her tweets about bronchitis being the reason behind the other night's cancellation. I really enjoy Stella Bulochnikov as her new partner in crime. When is the last time Mariah ever had a female manager, aside from herself, that's also mature and completely comfortable in their own skin? Does Patricia Carey back in 1988 during the signing of her first record deal with Columbia count? With all this nostalgia it's very fitting that Vision Of Love came out 25 years ago today. This is the reason a Mariah rockumentary is needed (53,230) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End There is always someone trying to paint Mariah with a negative brush and because she can't address every single instance most of them get away with it and it's maddening. Now's the perfect time to get her own version on record because it's a pivotal moment in her legacy as an artist as well as in her personal life. Part of TEOM's success was that there was a lot of candid behind the scenes documentation going on. I hope this HBO special comes out on DVD too for us international fans who may not have access to American cable unless of course, Team Mariah can ensure the imminent viewing dustribution of it in our respective countries. And why not make the DVD available for future pre-orders? (Tuesday 12 May 2015; 19:56)

The miscalculation of Mimi (53,225) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End The AI producers knew exactly what they were doing when they tricked Mariah into signing on to be a judge on the premise of having a traditional three person panel. For them to then do a switcheroo adding Nicki to the panel knowing full well there was bound to be awkward tension is just plain evil. Because if they were expecting Mariah to be as ratchet and immature as Nicki it completely backfired. That's what you get for playing dirty. No one can tell me that whole thing wasn't a set up by people who didn't want Mariah to be a successful judge. A certain ex-Sony employee was in the media casting negative aspersions on her stint as a judge when it was just a rumour. But he of course had nothing but praise for JLo who couldn't pass for an amateur singer at karaoke. (Tuesday 12 May 2015; 19:21)

So the Infinity video wrapped up shooting during the 9/5 show (53,170) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End We already know Mariah will look out of this world amazing, Brett always does her justice. She said it would be "fun" so I expecting a certain raven haired tempest to make an appearance but I might be just a tad bit obsessed and seeing signs in the cornfield. So, who was all in the audience singing along to Infinity last night? B and his family for sure, here's to hoping we the unedited story. And to whom it may concern: Happy Mother's Day. Arena's SoundCloud audio of #1 To Infinity from opening night on May 6th (53,122) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Is really good considering it's not professionally recorded. It's better than most of the grainy and sometimes indistinguishably muffled amateur live uptakes from the Music Box, Daydream, Butterfly and Charmbracelet tours that people swear by as proof of Mariah's vocal "peek". In reality, she's been disciplined, diligent enough in her craft and fortunate enough to have had several peeks and she's more than capable of having yet another one. When she sang Hero at the Colosseum I shed a tear and this is from someone who always preferred AYNAF. But even Hero gets to me when she sings it live at times There's something in her voice, a sincerity that cuts through any bullshit and just strikes you where you stand when Mariah sings. And it has absolutely nothing to do with if she's even on pitch for every single high note. That's Mariahs true gift really, her ability to emote so sincerely you find yourself accessing feelings you may otherwise keep locked away and let fester to the detriment of your soul, not the seven octave range. I truly believe that. Mariah isn't the only singer with that God given ability and to keep from shading any other annonted artists alive or dead even unintentionally. I will refrain from mentioning any of them because I also believe it's a devine connection that makes us gravitate to whomever moves our spirits. It's like having guardian angels if you believe in that sort of thing. Mariah for me is that significant to my spiritual wellbeing. (Friday 8 May 2015; 23:05)

Emotions to Infinity at the Billboard Music Awards (53,118) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End This is a brilliant move by Team Mariah. Emotions is one of her most iconic songs and probably the most Mariahesque song (vocally) as far as most civillians know because no one can sing it live from top to bottom. Well, no one except Mariah of course. Most lesser singers that try it sound like screeching copycats and no self respecting true diva would ever even attempt to out of courtesy and awe. I hope she does the unplugged version of The Elusive Chanteuse Show fame. It'll work really well going into Infinity that she attacks in a completely different way(vocally) but the lyrics of both songs are dripping with innuendos and double entendres. Very "full circle" by way of an 8 symbol. (Friday 8 May 2015; 22:30)

Ain't no false pretence? (53,104) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Let's get one thing straight. Not every poster on this board is a certified lamb. It's ridiculous to even think that when it's obvious some of them are not even fans anymore, if in fact they were ever that in the first place, let alone diehard lambs. At least a handful only post so they can quote themselves later in whatever publication or media outlet that was duped into hiring them as writers and opinionaters. Anybody who thinks entertainment press is unbiased is delusional. It's also full of corruption and susceptible to manipulation by various "agendas" and camps. The media at large can be used both as a weapon against somebody/something as well as a buffer or shield. For reference, see TMZ's Harvey Levin: "I just wanna say that there were 'a lot of people' that were saying and telling us, they said that she wasn't ready for this thing, she wasn't rehearsing enough, that it wasn't gonna be good. No, no, what we said was, we were talking to people who were in her camp. Some of them, remember, left. And they said..." The quotes and surrounding convo can be found in this link. The conversation between Harvey and his TMZ staff about Mariah's Vegas dress rehearsal audio starts at 25:00 and ends at 28:00. Sadly this is the status quo now. Should've known it was too good to be true. Oh well, it was a nice rumour while it lasted. In any case, this was one of my faves, thank God for Trey and Daniel too. Madonna has been relatively protected until now, probably due to another ism, ironically. To be fair I don't follow her enough to know if she's always had a gripe with ageism. I just can't remember her ever claiming her predecessors or musical influences. Unlike Mariah, very unlike Mariah. Notice how the narrative when it comes to women of a certain age in the media at large is: "the perpetual comeback". Paul McCartney was just featured as a collaborato on Rihanna and Kanye's Four Five Seconds. He's as old as they get and still no one would dare suggest he made any sort of comeback. As a female on the other hand, your last "performance" determines everything about what will be the story they tell about you no matter how successful you become. Remember Rockefeller? She would have time to both open the festivities and accept the Award for most #1 Hot 100 songs by a solo artist. There better be a freaking stellar montage honouring that amazing achievement. without being late to the 8pm show. I'm hoping Fifth Harmony and Mariah finality meet backstage so they can finally fangurl in person and pitch their idea of having MC do a cameo in the Like Mariah video. I want M to sing VOL and Infinity. Anything else is a bonus. Also, can we talk about the continuously great synergy around Mariah right now? I mean, what were the chances of the Billboard Music Awards landing in Vegas this year and on a day Mariah isn't required to be on vocal rest? I still believe this is the year of the Butterfly. When is the official 25th anniversary date? Is it the Mariah Carey album release date or VOL's? (Wednesday 6 May 2015; 2:43)

So concider the source because it sounds like "someone" with an anti-Mariah agenda is trying to thwart the efforts of her team to get Infinity played on the radio, by way of bad press, making it seen like diehard fans are up in arms over some bullshit nonexistent reason. Simply put, trolling at its worst. Didn't you get the memo? Well, it reads: Anybody who likes a couple MC songs is considered a "lamb" these days and therefore can be quoted saying the most disparaging things about Mariah and/or lend credence to outright ridiculous claims that have nothing to do with reality. It's the oldest trick in the book. Journalistic integrity be damned. See Wendell Williams for reference. There are plenty of people who have a vested interest in seeing Mariah Carey fail. They have gone out of their way to let us all know who they are so I'll refrain from listing the usual suspects. It ain't rocket science. Anyway, I have a good feeling about Infinity, it's a sleeper. Stevie Wonder 2. Dru Hill 3. Patti LaBelle 4. West Life 5. 98° 6. Babyface 8. Kelly Clarkson 9. R. Kelly 10. Nas Really, Mariah collaborates the most out of any artist I can think of alive or dead. I could easily make 5 more lists of possible Vegas guest stars for the #1 To Infinity shows. That's amazing. She has such a great relationship with her ego. So democratic with her musicianship despite being generally more "successful" as a singular artist. Only 4 of her Billboard #1's are duets or features. I'm impressed.
