About jaker20 from US: You Will Never Be MC

Streaming party starting today (91,594) by jaker20 from US
It looks like is going to be very close this week and will boil down to literally just a few points. Lambs, the most legendary fanbase of all, it's time to get festive. Stream stream steam.

Re: Just a streaming tidbit (91,582) (91,584) by jaker20 from US
I'm not sure that's how it works. Besides there are at least or 6 versions of the song over the years which includes the live version. So what I do is I create a playlist and loop them because all of them are actually really good specially the new Tokyo and St John. Does live version count? Does anyone know?

Re: Article: "All I Want for Christmas Is You" returns to No. 3 high (91,571) (91,579) by jaker20 from US
Get those AIWFCIY cds and vinyls, they are amazing. So if she doesn't get the no.2 this next two weeks we can at least guarantee it on Christmas week and the song's streaming completely explodes.

Re: #3 (91,561) (91,564) by jaker20 from US
This is absolutely incredible. Almost there and way ahead of schedule. Keep streaming.

AIWFCIY possibly already top 10 this week (91,538) by jaker20 from US
We will find out today or tomorrow. If that is true, we should start heavy streaming this very week. Wouldn't it be sweet if she gets a no.1 this decade, and then in the first week of the next decade?

Re: December 26th AIWFCIY lamb streaming party (91,535) (91,537) by jaker20 from US
December 20-26. That's the key. But it's moving so fast right now it could get higher sooner. Let us not worry who will or will not surprise release. We have the streaming support of the pubic. Honestly, the new Taylor song sounds so awful. It sounds like a ripoff of so many other Christmas songs.

Re: AIWFCIY jumps 31 to 18 on Billboard (91,509) (91,512) by jaker20 from US
At billboard.com, you can change the dates tracking date and compare. It is doing better this year but it's not a direct comparison because the days within tracking week is different. For example, last year, its at no. 29 for week ending December 1, 2018. This year, its at no. 31 for week ending November 30, 2019, and no.18 for week ending December 7.

AIWFCIY jumps 31 to 18 on Billboard (91,500) by jaker20 from US
She's really coming. She's also no.6 on Spotify. Get your coins ready. Remember lambs, December 20th is the date to get those cds, vinyls and power streaming.
(Monday 2 December 2019; 22:34)
AIWFCIY is already no.8 on Spotify (91,486) by jaker20 from US
Its coming in very hard on streaming this year. And we're still in November. I really hope this is the year.

Re: AIWFCIY, 19th #1 (91,435) (91,436) by jaker20 from US
Robert-Anthony, streaming. It was streaming that powered it to no.3 last year. More people streamed last year than the previous year, and there's more this year. Requesting to radio and downloads are good, but if you want to help out that has most impact, streaming is the key.

Re: AIWFCIY, 19th #1 (91,428) (91,433) by jaker20 from US
So I guess we need to stream from December 13 to 19, to give it momentum. And then power stream on December 20 and onwards.

Re: AIWFCIY, 19th #1 (91,421) (91,432) by jaker20 from US
I don't know if there's a maximum number to stream per day per user. I do know stans of other artists say they leave the song on repeat and loop. It might not add into the count as there's no clear rule, but it keeps the song on other people's "hot songs", or "popular this week" or "suggested songs", depending on which app you are using. So the goal is to get it recommended on there users' playlists.

Re: AIWFCIY, 19th #1 (91,423) (91,425) by jaker20 from US
Yes buying the song now doesn't really help much. You should buy it on the peak week. I just don't know when is the peak week but it's definitely around the 20th of December or just before that. Tracking week is so confusing to me. The streaming, radio and downloads tracking seem to be on different range of days. Does anyone know who can explain this for our benefit?

Lol. This nominations list is garbage. Hilarious.

Re: AIWFIY Hot 100 Chart entry last year (91,396) (91,400) by jaker20 from US
It is moving too fast. This is the first time it's entered top 40 before Thanksgiving. Prepare your streaming devices on December. Maybe we should schedule a streaming party? Does anyone know the peak Christmas tracking week this year?

Re: My predictions for 30 years in 2020 (91,379) (91,382) by jaker20 from US
I'd like a video for There's Got To Be A Way with the original version, because the video they made was for the remix, which is just an awful super cheap remix. It is one of Mariah's best vocals and the remix was horrific, completely destroyed the song.

Re: Grammys (91,368) (91,371) by jaker20 from US
I would be so happy if MC gets a nom. It is undoubtedly one of her best albums. Imagine gettting a Grammy now, 29 years after your already iconic career. It will fire her up to serve us more quality albums.

Mariah on being the top female solo artist of all (91,358) by jaker20 from US
On the overall artists list, she is no.4, behind The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Elton John. If AIWFCIY goes to no.1, I am pretty sure she will go to no.2 at the very least. At least. Because, if I'm not mistaken, none of those artists above her have that huge gap between first and last no.1, 29 years in Mimi's case, along with her high peaks. Not saying though that Mariah will not have another hit, in fact, AIWFCIY getting that record could rekindle public awareness as well as her creative juices. So next decade, beating The Beatles will then be in play. What a great time to be a lamb. .

Re: Merry Christmas repacking (90,577) (90,591) by jaker20 from US
I want her to also release the acapella performances of AIWFCIY, like the original studio performances, some of the live performances, and the Fallon acapella with The Roots.

Re: So much movement (90,553) (90,556) by jaker20 from US
Also of course Camp Mariah. It's interesting that Christmas was release at the same year. It is no coincidence that both will become her legacy. When she gives she receives tenfold.

Re: So much movement (90,513) (90,552) by jaker20 from US
It does feeL like Mariah is building momentum for Christmas anniversary. She did the same last year with the masterpiece album that is Caution, and the song peaked at number 3. I rather Mariah not perform the song, because when she does it loses its steam. It's weird I know, but that's how it went. Just let the song do its thing. Mariah is a streaming monster, the size and beauty of her catalog is just unreal. Once more lambs jump into streaming maybe that will push it. She looks great, she looks happy, and Nas breaking her record actually put her name back into the spotlight. Can you imagine 14 year olds who probably don't know her songs going "Nas broke Mariah's record", they naturally go and check her discography. I hope the mix-ish theme is a bop, that would be the well-timed perfect storm.

Old Town Road is a great song (90,486) by jaker20 from US
On 20 April 2019, I posted on MCArchives: "I would like Mariah to collab with a country artist. Old Town Road is one of the hottest tracks I've heard in awhile, and hopefully Mariah can branch out to that genre too."

That was 3 months ago. Search it, page 50 (or 51 now probably). That was before the song completely blew up. I knew I heard something, because you know, I got a good ear for a hit.

The truth is, huge hits sometimes happen by accident. You don't know what will be a hit. Artists have to experiment and find it somewhere deep inside them. Mariah herself said it sometimes you can't tell if a song will be huge. She actually thought WBT will not be a huge hit, and that It's Like That will be a bigger hit. Well, everything happens for a reason.

Re: 16 Weeks (90,430) (90,437) by jaker20 from US
He can break the record. With the way it's going, it will probably stop at 18 or 19 weeks. In the streaming era, it doesn't really mean anything anymore anyway.

"Oh wow 18 weeks at number cause people pay $10 a month to stream a million different songs." It is a useless record now lol.

Re: Obsessed re-enters iTunes chart (90,421) (90,423) by jaker20 from US
Glitter being number 1 at iTunes is great, it's good for the album's visibility and bragging rights. But iTunes is irrelevant. It becoming Apple chart is their way of phasing it out so they can fully push their streaming service. Sorry but just saying the truth.

Re: Obsessed re-enters iTunes chart (90,399) (90,404) by jaker20 from US
That's all good but iTunes is literally irrelevant. No.900 is probably less than 100 downloads or something. iTunes will be discontinued soon.
