5 Million comebacks (73,028)
by Lila from United States
| |
|
|
Well lets, once again, take a look at recent actions: 1) Dressing trashy 2) Constantly flashing her nipples 3) Two fake relationships 4) Engaging in attention seeking photo ops with the second idiot, only to, laughably, say that she wants to be more private 5) Taking part in a reality show where she purposely makes herself out to be a h0e 6) Engaged in behavior that fueled the media's gold digger stories 7) Parading men through her children's life who aren't going to be there longterm 8) Hiring an incompetent manager that her idiot so-called friend let into her life all because the stalker asked over Instagram 9) Letting the idiot manager turn down a prominent production company's offer of a joint statement after a highly publicized failure of a performance 10) Accusing said prominent production company of sabotage 11) Accusing the Grammy's of foiling her because she didn't win a stupid award 11) Rambling on in interviews about absolutely nothing 12) Posting the most tacky and desperate photos on Instagram The list, sadly enough, goes on past those twelve points. Image is everything and her image is shit and it's due to her own stupid decisions. She's so child minded and has a lot of child minded fans who both think that she should be able to go out and make an ass of herself publicly and still get respect and adoration and her past accomplishments don't erase or excuse her present nonsense. On planet Earth, it doesn't work that way. I don't know what to tell you all, move to Mars perhaps. No one's just picking on Mariah for no reason.

That would be so nice and a welcome change. I'm always Team Gown as long as the dress is well made, actually her size, and the plunge is tasteful/decent. Mariah can look amazing when she wants to.

At this point, I think we all have to acknowledge that Mariah herself is a toxic person. Birds of a feather flock together.

No, I'm chalking it up to exactly what I'm seeing and that's bratty behavior. She didn't even let the guy finish his question before she rudely interrupted him to give a tactless statement and then went on to talk about being foiled over not winning an award years ago, like that's even possible. It's not. Grammy awards aren't given out based on what's more impactful 10+ years later. The members vote on what they like and/or feel is best in that moment. Again, that criterion is subjective and again who even knows how many votes Mariah actually lost by. It could've been a very small amount; it could've been just one. Mariah was not snubbed. Snubbed would've been her album not being nominated at all.

Stella said that DCP offered to make a joint statement. She turned them down and was rude and disrespectful to the person, from the company, whom she was on the phone with. What did they think was going to happen with Stella doing that? It is not human nature to respond to hostility and disrespect with kindness and obedience. Stella basically told them f~ck you and they returned the sentiment. Even Steven. As for the Grammy's, yes it's disappointing to lose but Mariah can't say that she was foiled simply because she didn't win an award that was up for grabs by 4 other good artists, all nominated and voted for by a large group of members who could all have varying ideas of what makes this or that album or song deserving of the win. Especially not after still going on to submit another album for consideration. Whenever there's competition, you sign up for the possibility that you'll be the loser. Plus, who even knows how much she lost by, could've been less than 5 votes for all we know. No one has wronged Mariah, not in these situations anyway. All I see is Mariah being a brat because things didn't go her way and doesn't want to take responsibility for her actions or those of the incompetent people that she hired and keeps employed.

Re: The Grammys foiled me (72,825) (72,830)

I thought the same thing after reading Ribbon B's post and seeing her write the word hope. All I could think was "Mariah seems hellbent on dashing all of our hope. Every time she does something that makes us think that she's taken one step forward, she does something else that proves to us she's actually taken 20 leaps backward." It's all Mariah though. NYE was a freak accident that could have happened to anyone but everything else was, and is, all Mariah. Not that things are going smoothly anyway, but it seems to me that she just can't stand for things to go well. If things are going well, she has to make it bad. If things are going bad, she has to make it worse. I wish it weren't so but I can't ignore what my own two eyes are seeing and that's a woman hellbent on making a mess of her life and career. It's an established pattern of self-sabotage at its finest.

Strike nice. It sounded to me like she's forgotten how to be respectful, grateful, and graceful. She and so many others need to get a grip. It's the Grammy's, not The Price Is Right. It's not possible to be sabotaged, who the f~class cares if an artist was "snubbed", they're not missing out on some monetary prize, and the world has not ended just because you didn't win such and such category. To be so upset about not getting the award, you need help.

Yeah, some women can pull off heavier makeup and some can't. Mariah's one that can't for the most part. She has moments but overall it's more flattering when she wears light make up or just none. Mariah always looks best with light make up or none at all. Now, if she's just put on some good outfits. Mariah, just quit with the Tonka Toy nonsense. At the end of the day, what you'll never be able to fake, and we have Mariah's World to back us up, is an actual connection with this man. Even, in these pics, all I get is major friend zone.

Re: Valentie's Day treat (72,693) (72,696)
by Lila from United States

As always, these days, she could've kept every single one of those photos. I honestly thought, first time around, the V-Day pics she took were cute. It looked like she was just having fun. She was wearing a bra encrusted with those nasty tasting candy hearts lol and the bathroom she took them in was so cute, there was lots of glitter and balloons, so there was more of a cuteness to than anything. The Hershey kisses on this new bra pic make it look like she's trying to be an Austin Powers FemBot and at any moment she's going to shoot us all down. Also, I'm really trying not to be mean when I say this. I genuinely need the fans and public who buy into this Tonka Toy mess to get their brain checked. Nothing going on there, not even the rent that Tonka Toy doesn't pay. They're smiling but it's not reaching their eyes. Plus, judging by the emojis, the 13 year old took the picture. This is just the V-Day to end all V-Days, though. What woman doesn't want to slip on a swimsuit, hop into a bath tub, and drink, all the while a 13 year old snaps pics. I guess after dropping 100K on the house, she didn't feel like faking another "date" at Nobu that she'd have to foot the bill for.

I agree. If nothing else, in my opinion, attending award shows and other events can be a good and easy way of keeping in the public eye, attached to music/entertainment and most likely make for good networking opportunities also. She should go to these events.

Most likely. I know I would be. I really wonder what Mariah thinks she's gaining by doing all this - Packer, Tonka Toy, exploiting her kids, and an exact account - and if she really thinks whatever that is, is worth it. I already know it's not but I just wonder what she really thinks.

Not saying that she won't do it but I'd be surprised. I think, if anything, they'd be passive aggressive and leak lies to TMZ or whoever and have themselves renamed as "a source close to". Same as what they did with the he won't sign the papers nonsense. They don't seem to come at Nick directly. It has to be sources this and that.

Lol. Same as how in Billboard, she said that they didn't go "overboard" in exploiting the children, instead of saying that they flat out avoided exploiting the children in any way. She's definitely a dim lightbulb.

My sentiments exactly. That reminds me, I have my own vision of 2023 and it includes the same fans who egg this behavior on, will be the same ones still acting like it's such a mystery as to why Mariah isn't as respected as they think she should be or in comparison to XYZ person of their choosing.

No surprise there. They were never going to risk hearing from fans who don't act like everything Mariah does is gold just because it's Mariah, don't like Stella, don't like Mariah's World, and don't want to see her turn herself into a joke.

Full song listen (71,977)
by Lila from United States
| |

Now that I've heard the full song I can officially say that I hate it. It sounds horrible to me. Her voice doesn't sound good and the song feels like all the elements of it are clashing. The only good part is her singing Donnell Jones "when you love someone, you don't treat them bad" but it's like a karaoke moment for me because whether M sings it, I sing it, or anyone else, I'm immediately taken in because I'm really just thrown back to Donnell Jones singing the part. The video teasers look awful also. It's a no for me.
