About Lila from United States: I love Mariah
I love to travel, dance, and eat.

Re: Ribbon (71,960) (71,973) by Lila from United States
The glass is always half empty for her, which is why she'll never be able to find long term happiness.

MW finale ratings (71,866) by Lila from United States
The finale has the show dropping down Show Buzz's list from #38, the Sunday prior to the finale, to #47 and the viewership was nothing to ring home about.

With everything else we've seen, it's certainly not a far fetched possibility.

Re: Mariah and Nick are beautiful (71,840) (71,854) by Lila from United States
That's funny because I've been thinking, to myself, for a while now that she still wears that ring because she was the one who bought it.

Re: Mariah and Nick are beautiful (71,822) (71,834) by Lila from United States
It was the only good thing to come out of this whole travesty. Mariah was genuinely happy and laughing and free and not worried. Nothing was staged, there was no forced tolerance. They are actually friends, same as before, which Nick has been saying for a while lol. It was just like old times. Even if they never get back together I'm still entirely grateful that the connection and love remains and that Nick remains in her corner. I swear when Ribbon was talking about a good outcome I was so lost as to what she could possibly have come up to unless Nick pops out at the end and says "you've just been punk'd". Maybe next week a secret actual episode where he will? Too much to hope for? Fine. Back to the drawing board lol.

Re: Natural progression (71,819) (71,833) by Lila from United States
Asking someone's opinion on something is not letting them call the shots, though. Mariah asked for Nick and Prince's opinion but at the end of the day Mariah was the one who okayed doing Idol. That was Mariah's call. If she let JD pick the singles then she still called the shots in delegating that responsibility to him. I don't know what money Nick was making decisions about that was just Mariah's because Nick has, in the past, explained that what they bought together and the kids, they went on half on, and what they had before marriage they took care of separately. However, if that were true, she still called the shot in following his decision. Being passive is a choice. Nick traveled a lot but it also didn't help their relationship that Mariah continually clung to staying in NYC when it was obvious that a big chunk of his life was in LA. Mariah obviously didn't care to spend time with Packer because even when they were together she invited her circus to come with her, including Stella's annoying fast underage daughter. Packer may have had her do concerts and business meetings but it wasn't like he wasn't kicking back money in the form of expensive jewelry, vacations, and the use of his and another yacht. Mariah was not being taken for a ride. She was and is an active participant.

Re: MW finale plot twist? (71,800) (71,814) by Lila from United States
Either man, either way, hearing the lyrics so far, I can't take them seriously in regards to either. We've too many examples of Mariah, in both relationships admitting to or exemplifying poor behavior or thinking. I'm not saying that the men are perfect at all either but it just seems Mariah's actions are more wearing. I, too, remember Mariah saying on The View that she didn't like Nick disagreeing with her and that 20/20 trust answer, I still get second hand slap in the face from. The latter, if ever there was a time to lie that was it. Then all this ish with Tonka Toy while supposedly being with Packer. Listening to the lyrics we've gotten so far, I think it's more likely that no one "played with her mind" or "lied to her" but rather Mariah just played herself thinking that she could do whatever and have her circus around 24/7, inserting themselves where they don't belong, and the man was just going to continually turn a blind eye or do a one-sided compromise forever. Then, when that doesn't happen, she feels let down and/or lied to.

Mariah's World: Finale aka Dear Lord no S2 (71,771) by Lila from United States
1) I just want to pat all the fans, who had hope that those pictures of Mariah and Tonka Toy on the beach were for a video, on the back. Sorry to have to tell you that she really and truly played herself and it was for the last scene of episode 8 where she makes it out that she and Tonka Toy are headed into a relationship.
2) Funny how even now she's still wearing that ring and he's not allowed to stand next to her entering and exiting venues let alone hold her hand.
3) Mariah conveniently skips over the fact that James called the relationship off and makes it out as though she broke it off or it was a mutual split.
4) As I suspected, the best part, of the entire series, was the moment with Mariah, Nick, Beth, and the twins were together celebrating the twins birthday. It was the only thing that you could tell off the bat was genuine. Mariah and Beth were making fun of Nick's turban together. Mariah said that they have a special relationship and they have one another's backs. It was just so cute.
5) Of course, we just had to get scenes of Mishka's Bar Mitzvah. They should've just inserted more family footage of the birthday celebration.
6) Tonka Toy gets promoted to co-creative director but no one informs Anthony of this so he's understandably upset. It's another instance where, we as fans, get to again understand what he meant in his Access Hollywood interview when he said to just watch Mariah's World and we'll see why things happen the way that they do.
There was other stuff but honestly it was all just filler nonsense and or cheesy. Nothing to really care about. Overall, the entire episode was much to do about nothing and like the rest forgettable.

Fine, keep your secret outcomes to yourself 00Ribbon lol. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a season 2. I hope there's not but I have zero confidence in saying that there won't be.

Can you now tell us your theoretical good outcome now so we can watch to see if it happens? Plus, I want to know because I can't think of any.

Re: She's foiled us guys (71,665) (71,679) by Lila from United States
That's what doesn't sit right with me the most also, the lies. She didn't even dance around it. She told the fans and the world, plain as day, that it was a docuseries that would be taking us behind the scenes of the tour. She was 100% offended that anyone would hint at it being anything other. She used herself, the fans, and worst of all her kids to try to make it so. Oh I want to be able to look back, I want the kids to be able to look back, I want to give the fans blah blah blah. My eyes are rolling out of my head just thinking about it. Then, this so-called break is meaningless. She's doing nothing but being surrounded by the same leeches and calling the paps to be photographed playing happy family with Tonka Toy. She just wants to cling to her bubble of make believe and self destruction. Sad but just do that and don't lie.

Season 2? (71,661) by Lila from United States
So Mariah Carey Australia is reporting that there could possibly be a season 2 of Mariah's World due to the show's "global success" - what a crock. This better not come to pass.

Trying to wrap my head around (71,579) by Lila from United States
And, at the same time, not bust a gut at the thought of a break up song being sung by Mariah, about a man who she obviously wasn't in love with, who she got with on the heels of the separation from her husband, whom she was not yet divorced from when she became engaged, while she is trying to rewrite the facts of his breaking up her with her through a horrible "docuseries" where she's constantly flirting with and rubbing up against her lame backup dancer, who she in real life has tagging along with her everywhere like a toy poodle, making everyone believe that's her new thing and always was, even when she was engaged to the other man. This song better be good lol.

Bobby and the doll (71,578) by Lila from United States
I didn't message the man but I did scroll through his timeline and saw that Bobby posted a picture - dated November 19, 2016 - of the original Mariah doll, wearing two replica Beacon 2015 dresses, he had commissioned by a talented artist. In it, he stated that he hoped it was in a safe place. Kristofer commented beneath the picture that it was someplace safe. So either Mariah or Kristofer has this doll in their possession. He has a picture up of a Mariah doll in the Vegas outfit. The caption states that it's the original doll he had commissioned and Mariah wanted it but he said no. Bobby also has a video of himself handing Mariah a crown, her putting it on her head, then wishing him happy birthday during a Beacon concert, this past December. He has another of him standing next to Mariah, after the concert, yes dressed as a lamb, while she smiles for his camera phone. Now I wasn't there for whatever went down during the meet and greet but I am thinking that 1) there must be more to the story, 2) whatever anyone thinks is strange about this man, he's not dangerous and Mariah obviously has no problem with him, and 3) if it all boils down to money on Mariah's part, then that says a lot more about Mariah than it does Bobby.

Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,533) (71,548) by Lila from United States
I'm so glad that never happened and Nick and Heidi are just friends lol. I saw a lot of people make that same connection. James with M, James ex-wife Erica with Seal, so that left Nick and Heidi to get together, everyone forming a mini circle of exes with switched partners. Talk about six degrees of separation.

Re: MW episode 7 : Mimi L review (71,526) (71,547) by Lila from United States
Just watching her, what Nick said on that podcast keeps knocking on the door. He said he knew her strategy, which is to have people fawn over her. At first he was going to say her game but he took it back and said strategy but I think game was the right word because that's all I see from Mariah's actions. It's all a game to her.

Once again I am forced to have a moment lol. Now playing Lullaby. It's actually my favorite song from Charmbracelet. I've been going through a Daydream phase and now I might as well have a Charmbracelet phase.

I don't think he wants to get in Stella's way. He just wants to ride the gravy train like the rest. Even if he did, I don't have much faith he'd get anywhere with it. He comes across as the rest do: dim.
