Re: Hopes for the memoir (94,567) (94,570) by T from USA I think if she would've written and released this memoir ten years from now when she really is at the tail end of any kind of pop career we would get much more of the "off brand" story. But she's achieved so much so fast in a short period of time that the next logical step is her memoir at the age of 50. First time Mariah and Timbaland worked with each other since she teamed up with [Missy] on [Babydoll]. I think it would've fit perfectly with [Memoirs] to break up but also compliment the Dream songs. Ignore the talking over it and try to focus on the vocals, lyrics and production. It's sublime. Songs like Subtle Invitation and There Goes My Heart paved the way for working with live musicians on the next project. Also her work with JD was a step up from her work with JD on Rainbow which also laid a foundation for the songs they were to produce next. So in some regards Charmbracelet paved the way for one of the greatest musical comeback albums of all times whereas Rainbow paved the way for the album that caused the need for said comeback in the first place. For all you non believers Amazon music (93,815) by T from USA E=MC2 is up to #159 on the album sales chart (from #14,630) for a sales increase of 9,101%. And it's currently #3 on their pop dance album chart and #2 on their Soul chart. Is this a conspiracy too? (Tuesday 28 April 2020; 16:59)

Re: Scam? (93,799) (93,803) by T from USA No it's legit, it's slowly climbing the UK iTunes chart as well, if it was some sort of algorithm then it would've shot up all around the world to #1. But places like UK and Canada where it is not discounted it is climbing a lot slower. One other thing. If some lamb knew how to game the system believe me they wouldn't have randomly chosen E=MC2 they definitely would've done it for Caution or even better, the debut to mark her 30th anniversary. Apparently they did a song battle on social media the night before and a lot of her Einstein songs won a few battles. (Tuesday 28 April 2020; 02:00)

The straight forward dessert to TEOM, #1 (again) (93,797) by T from USA E=MC2 just hit #1 on the US iTunes chart for the first time since 2008. This is crazy but also so well deserved to a spring/summertime album that is so easy to listen to it's sick. Fan favourites concert "no April Fool's joke" (93,504) by T from USA This would be a perfect year for that "album cuts/fan favourites" concert she always talks about. But instead of taking it on the road and having to deal with critics writing about vocals or empty seats, she could do it in the privacy and intimacy of her recording booth and upload it to YouTube. It would be a way to still do something during the year of lockdown, and at the same time build good will for many years to come. (Sunday 5 April 2020; 13:38)

Re: So Cold (93,431) (93,432) by T from USA To me Rainbow represents the first time Mariah made a whole album on her own without being under the watchful eye of Sony and Tommy. Her insomnia made it a bit scattered. If she had Walter to reign it in a little like he did on Butterfly. Songs worth keeping: Heartbreaker, CTTA, Bliss, Crybaby, Petals, TGIFY. The rest could've been under the direction of Walter then we would've had a true follow up. (Sunday 29 March 2020; 16:50)
