About T from USA :

Mariah called David Foster "the maestro" (93,349) by T from USA
After seeing her reply to David Foster and never to Walter (although she did mention his name on that Amazon docu) I think I can finally see that the reunion will never be happening.

How would it be if she reconnected and worked with Foster for some future classics? If I would have to rate her ballad producers I would say:
1. Walter A
2. Big Jim Wright
3. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis
4. Marc Shaiman
5. David Foster
6. Babyface
7. Randy Jackson
8. Daniel Moore

Re: Hilton (93,328) (93,335) by T from USA
I agree but the magic happened between the two of them in a way Big Jim or Jimmy Jam never could. Sometimes people just connect and get each other. It's just a shame because who knows how many more classics could have been born in addition to the classic ballads she did with others (WBT, DFAU, TTR, TGIFY, Petals, You're Mine) after they broke up.

MC will be fine maybe your prayers should be directed to the more poor and vulnerable senior population.

Re: Hilton (93,299) (93,302) by T from USA
If you bothered to read what I was replying to it was a comment that wished she stayed away from the WBT rehashes and did songs more like: Lead The Way, Without You, Never Forget You and I Don't Wanna Cry. My reply was then you need Walter for that. Pure and simple.

Re: Article: We rated the best ballads from each of Mariah's albums (93,297) (93,298) by T from USA
If you want that MC needs to reconnect with Walter.

The potential (93,184) by T from USA
After reading the last few days of messages I think we can all agree that the potential is there. Mariah could have a huge critical and commercial darling if she lessened the control like she did on TEOM and debut. Two albums that she had the guidance of someone else and two of her most outstanding releases in her career. Who would she trust to do this with again? Sylvia Rhone?

Re: The next album (93,165) (93,170) by T from USA
The last time she "revisited" the first so albums while working on a new one was MIAMTEC. According to Nick Cannon. And although I see some aspects in the ballads and the throwback dance tracks I'm not sure she had the best guidance at the time and the execution was slightly off. I do think the right producers would help her craft songs fitting of her beautiful talent. I also think Walter A, salty as he may be, is one of those producers.

The next album (93,164) by T from USA
First off, I loved Caution. And it is a nice addition to her vast discography. However I do think another album in the same vein would have just about the same level of success. I understand that nobody should make music depending on how it will do in the public eye but she still is Mariah Carey. And she still should have some level of success. The only thing I can think of is because we're in the 30th anniversary year maybe she could revisit the debut album as a blue print. I would even have a reunion with Walter A and see what happens. I mean I believe if anyone out there can have Adele like numbers it's still Mariah, with the right songs of course.

Salaam Remi (92,661) by T from USA
I wonder why Mariah has never worked with Salaam Remi. He's helped produced some of the biggest songs plus has worked with artists that she loves and respects; Nas, The Fugees, Doug E Fresh. I hope she's involved with Lee Daniels' new movie in which Salaam Remi is producing the music.

Re: E=MC2 era (92,159) (92,160) by T from USA
I agree. The whole era right down the quick marriage was weird and I don't think she had the right people around her. Loosing Sudack could have made her go off the rails a little bit combined with her feeling like she was untouchable. It stared there and then Obsessed and then Idol and it seemed like the attitude kept escalating. Until her second breakdown on New Years 2016.

Mariah Carey and Max Martin (92,082) by T from USA
It may never happen but wouldn't it be insane if the two biggest catchy pop producers finally combined for one song? I mean, Fantasy meets Opps I Did It Again. Dreamlover meets Blank Space. AIWFCIY meets I Can't Feel My Face. The next song should come from these two super producers.

Boxing Day streaming day (91,974) by T from USA
It is slightly behind in the UK at #2. This is it's big chance getting her a third number one. It really is now or never, as she's thrown everything at the wall. As well as a third week in the USA. Things will fall big time tomorrow so I do think we the lambs need a streaming day on December 26th. It could make all the difference. Don't quit now. One more massive streaming effort.

Mariah against the music (91,960) by T from USA
Remember in 2003 when Madonna teamed up Britney and it gave her career a little jolt? Actually a big jolt because her next studio album was the very successful COADF. I wonder if Mariah duetting with Ariana would possibly be this generations version leading one one last successful mega selling album by MC? Just a thought.

Wally A listed first (91,891) by T from USA
Why in the credits on YouTube for the new video does Walters name appear first in the writers category? Is that Sony’s way of says no he wrote more of it? Or is that just how it was registered at the very beginning?

Re: Please (91,885) (91,890) by T from USA
I think she loves her babies too much to re-record and change them out right. Even when she re-recorded AIWFCIY on MCIIY she basically kept it exactly the same. I would love a jazz album if she worked with the right people. I would also love an album she completely produces herself but I'm not sure that's possible given that she can't play instruments. So someone will always be in the back ready to take some of the credit. Honestly, she's had so many downs that I wouldn't mind her stopping recording right now and end on this super high. People love her, she's seen as a living legend, why jeopardize that now?

Re: Hoping for work on new album in 2020 (91,835) (91,843) by T from USA
I totally agree with Poo Bear. I think the next time out they will come up with even better songs, hard to believe but I really do. However, you can't have another "Butterfly" without Walter A unfortunately. He was right, together they do a certain kind of pop song that hasn't been able to be done without the both of them together. Butterfly benefited by that partnership.

Stream like there's no tomorrow (91,831) by T from USA
Bieber releasing a new single December 24th could ruin Mariah's chance at being the only artist to have a #1 in 4 separate decades. He usually sells 300k in the first few days. AIWFCIY will do 20k so the only chance we have in our control is streaming. Chart week starts today December 20-26. Don't take anything to chance. Stream like there's no tomorrow.

Re: Variety - Walter A (91,815) (91,829) by T from USA
She will never go back with him. It could also be pride. I mean her instrument isn't anywhere where it was when she left him.

Re: Walter A. gets really candid (91,808) (91,828) by T from USA
I would like to think with all of Mariah's hard earned work, Tommy and Walter might have helped her get her last ever #1. She should call them both and say thank you.

Re: Lambs rejoice (91,730) (91,736) by T from USA
I know what you mean but how crazy would it be if Old Town Road only got to fifteen weeks and Mariah still held that record too. If only.

Congrats MC (91,720) by T from USA
When people say "yea but it was bound to happen", they mean for like one week during Christmas. Sure, but this is very different. This is a mid-December #1 hit in 2019. If she stays at #1 for three straight weeks then it will also be a long running #1 hit.

#1's world tour (91,719) by T from USA
I'm thinking she should either have a hot single waiting for January or she should capitalize on this by announcing a #1's world tour. (Singing AIWFCIY in July lol.) Let's keep up the streams and the sales because three weeks in a row and a fourth decade would be huge as the rules could change by next year so three weeks might be all we get. Don't quit now.

Re: #3 (91,569) (91,574) by T from USA
Juicy Wrld will be #1 next week and possibly the week after. Mariah's big chance will be Christmas week. I wish she could've done it in 2019 and 2020 but it looks like Lady Luck isn't on her side.

Re: #3 (91,565) (91,566) by T from USA
She won’t be #1 next week. But there will still be two weeks to try and get it. My feeling is Christmas week, but don’t forget streaming the heck out of it on Boxing Day US lambs. That will be our only chance.

Re: December 26th AIWFCIY lamb streaming party (91,537) (91,539) by T from USA
This is the kind of unfocused strategy that will help it miss the #1 spot. It's never going to happen in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Mariah's team knows this that's why all single shipments are happening on December 20th. Let's take the cue from them and make it happen. My point is Boxing Day on the 26th is where we may loose the top spot so if anything is going to be organized it should be for that day to keep the song up.
