Re: Caution album (86,982) (86,985) by Shezz from Pk Makes sense for them to do that but it also shows a bit of bad planning to launch the album 2 weeks before her very busy Christmas season. I guess she was stuck because of her Asia tour. Best thing would have been to have a single or 2 out this year and just launch the album with a bang in the new year - hot off her Christmas popularity. Makes much more sense than shelving this "solid body of work" (I see you up there). I'm just praying the A No No remix doesnt get abandoned in all this. Though I do believe Mariah will support this album as soon as she can after all the work she's put in it. (Tuesday 11 December 2018; 15:36)

Re: Mariah sales (86,485) (86,497) by Shezz from Pk I remember Barb[e]ra Streisand had an album out around Memoirs or MIAMTEC and she sold a whole lot more first week and got a number 1 album. However, this time her album that was released a week or two ago sold around 30k only. Cher's high first week sales was an anomaly for a legacy artist and interest in her album was boosted by the Mamma Mia movie. I don't think promotion or roll out made much of an impact on the sales of Caution. A hit single would have helped sales. Remember TEOM was released off the heels of two hit singles and Touch My Body, the record breaking number one propelled E=MC2 sales. No songs from Caution manages to crack the top 100. All things considered, these sales figures are pretty decent for Mimi. (Sunday 25 November 2018; 14:30)

Rumour alert (86,461) by Shezz from Pk Mariah has re-recorded some vocals for the A No No remix and it will be released next month. This remix has to materialise if Caution is to have any legs. I'm glad she had the commercial foresight to add Cardi B into the mix along with Lil Kim (if it is indeed in the works). They could have an amazing girl power moment with it like she did with Missy and Da Brat on the Heartbreaker remix. Hopefully they can line up a big video before her Christmas tour starts, if the label supports it. Don't know if anyone caught one of the recent radio clips of her saying that she's lucky if the studio has the budget for anything more than iPhone video these days. Either way something is coming for sure, with all the studio videos she's posted on her instagram. (Saturday 24 November 2018; 11:56)

When has a collaboration that she has explicitly wanted ever happened? The only ones that happen are the ones that she is quiet about. Still hoping that it comes through. Other than it being epic, it would without a shadow of a doubt be commercially successful and that would definitely bring more general public attention to the album, otherwise it’s going to be off the album charts in a few weeks sadly. Fallon / Caution / sales (86,103) by Shezz from Pk The Fallon performance looked and sounded great. I couldn't quite tell where she was lipping if she was. Everytime I thought she was lipping, she'd change the note up in the end. Re-recorded vocals or live, don't matter she did well and I liked her ensembles. After finally getting my fill of Giving Me Life (reminds me a tad bit of Beautiful Ones though of course without the hair raising vocals) I gave the other tracks a chance and did really like all of them though I do agree the texture and the tone is a bit similar throughout, some can call it repetitive others can call it cohesive. MIAMTEC was more diverse and had more vocal moments for sure. That being said I do love the album, wanted more from Portrait lyrically but I'm really happy with the album overall. Lastly, has anyone seen the iTunes chart or sales projections? Last I saw she was at #4 on iTunes. Strange if Glitter got to #1 I thought Caution would have flown there. Anyway, great promo still left, awesome roll out, kudos to the team. Lets hope they don't abandon it too soon. (Saturday 17 November 2018; 14:35)
