I love to travel, dance, and eat.

Nick's new IG pic (70,908) by Lila from United States
Nick posted a new picture of him, Mariah, the twins, and Beth. It's adorable as always. Mariah looks amazing. She looks natural, she's wearing her natural hair, her face looks great, no awkward or forced posing or facial expressions. Even if she's more glammed up she usually tends to look more natural in the family pics IMO. She should dedicate some of that to her own IG and I wouldn't be against having someone hired solely for snapping and uploading pictures to IG.

Vent moment: Mariah's World (70,851) by Lila from United States
I'll keep this short and sweet. I caught the episode, the whole thing was horrible, the Tanaka moments were disgusting and I mean literally disgusting (so so so so so so so lost as to why she's going out of her way to make it look like she was cheating on James). Pranking Molly was stupid. I'd feel bad for her but then I remember she's an actress. I said to myself, this is the fourth episode, we're halfway through, if there's no full performance shown, there most likely won't be any. Lo and behold nothing. We didn't even get a taste, like on episode three. The series was blah from the start but the fourth looks like a demarcation of it taking a tacky nose dive.

Right. Lol. To even think it plausible for Mariah to do anything else but get the money first is to admit that she's just a plain dummy and anyone else for that matter. I think her self preservation skills will kick in. She has no problem finding her damsel in distress cape. In a way I feel sorry for Stella - okay no I don't. Still, every time the woman opens her mouth she proves that she's none too bright, has no tact, and no strategy. However, she seems to sincerely think that Mariah and her have a true bond and they're best friends lol. I see nothing of the sort, even after watching Mariah's World, there seems to be nothing about their dynamic that seems like true friends. Mariah keeps her around because she's willing to be Mariah's mean girl persona come to life, doesn't curve her behavior in any way, she's not alone, and it's a party 24/7. Mariah has been loyal to a lot of people but I don't think Stella is one. She'll be sacrificed with no problems if things turn ever get too bad. Now if I'm wrong, I never claimed I was a psychic lol, it's just a theory.

Re: Blind Gossip article (70,811) (70,848) by Lila from United States
I can't believe how many fans are still stuck on that era. Mariah stopped doing promo during E=MC2 because she wanted to be with Nick. That was her decision. She was happy and in love, that became a priority, and good for her. Some of ya'll really can't bring yourselves to ever lay blame where it belongs: with Mariah. Nick never forced Mariah to do anything that she didn't want to do and he wasn't holding a gun to her head. You don't know anything about Mark Sudack that makes him any more "decent" than Nick or anyone else. Personally, though I wasn't a fly on the wall, a mouth inside Mariah's camp let some lambs know that things between Mariah and Mark were not peaches and cream by a long shot, they argued a lot, and things were not getting any better. Had they married it's very possible that it would have been an awful marriage. As rich and connected as his wife's dad is, it's possible that there's extra incentive to be wonderful to her. As for his current wife, he may love her but I don't doubt that there's extra incentive to walk the straight and narrow because her daddy is very wealthy and very connected. I also remember a while back, reading a fan's account of him being rude when he was interacting with Mariah fans. Also, Madonna did not use a "sperm donor" for her first child. She was with Lourdes' father for almost three and a half years and that man is in Lourdes life. Last year, the girl even got a tattoo of the words mom and dad on each hand.

I'm sorry but I have to vent it: I see we're also starting 2017 off with awful, cringeworthy, side eye inducing pictures. Mariah may think she looks sexy but in reality that's a negative. She looks like someone's over the hill, trying too hard to be sexy, acts like she's 20 but a dumb 20, stay drunk out of her mind auntie. That may be harsh but it's exactly what Mariah in that picture reminds me of. She couldn't even bother to have the empty bottle of alcohol removed from the background. I'll say it again, she needs to leave her face alone. 2017 here we come, I guess.

Re: Blind Gossip article (70,802) (70,807) by Lila from United States
I saw that blind item. I've found a few blind items plausible but that one was a no. 1) Not only did Mariah and Nick have a prenup, Mariah could've taken Nick to court. Couples do it all the time. I doubt a judge would've ruled that he was entitled to $30 million dollars after 5 years of marriage and when he has his own sources of income. Second, 2) I don't believe for one minute her accountant or lawyer would let her believe that it was a smart move to pay someone $30 million dollars based on a verbal agreement (they are very hard to prove in court) that a soon-to-be, but not guaranteed, fiancée was going to kick it back. 3) The story, given by Mariah's camp, was that James and Mariah, originally, were to be married on March 1st of 2016. So, they planning to "marry" despite Mariah not being legally divorced from Nick. Yet, Several months later, the prenup still wasn't signed, they still weren't "married", and, according to Mariah's camp, Mariah found the prenup insulting. So, from all angles, there was no need to give Nick $30 million dollars and I can't see why Mariah would have. 4) Stella stop playing in the Blind Items and work on getting your stories right.

Re: Debacle humor (70,777) (70,799) by Lila from United States
True and I wish she would deal with it because I do think that a lot of the nonsense we've been seeing the past two years, does stem from her marriage's dissolution, to a large extent but a good therapist can go a long way and she has the money for it or she can even put on her big girl panties (don't start flashing us those though Mariah) and talk to Nick himself. Do something healthy.

Re: Debacle humor (70,764) (70,774) by Lila from United States
Lol, that makes no sense on her part but I don't think Wendy was trying to be petty. She seems to really think that some of Mariah's actions are a a symptom of her marriage dissolving. She thought James was Mariah trying to make Nick jealous and those horrible beach pictures was Mariah trying to look like she was fine after James dipped but even more to show that she wasn't bothered by Nick having a new baby because Wendy felt that was more hurtful than James leaving.

I wish I could give your post 20 more likes. The hoops some fans are jumping through to make it seem like Mariah is winning in this debacle is ridiculous and crazy. And the social media argument always kills me.

Fired (70,732) by Lila from United States
No, not Stella, who publicly accused Dick Clark Productions of sabotage, but Anthony, apparently, for moving Mariah's backup singers off the stage for the NYE performance and putting them at the base of the risers. Apparently, this was bad because back up singers can help with cues or whatever else. Goodness, everything is everyone else's fault. I doubt the back up singers were going to be much help though. DCP sabotaged the performance lol. I'm sure they also gave the back up singers poorly functioning equipment too lol. Anthony is just being used as a scapegoat because they know, for all their talk, they can't go up against DCP. I see Stella is still being kept although she admits that she knew, fully well, that her client's in-ears weren't working but she let her go onstage anyway and also did nothing to help the situation.

Re: I'm so confused (70,551) (70,565) by Lila from United States
The life story of being a Mariah fan. Now that we're getting pictures of her on stage, I'm trying to piece this mess together. She had the little crystal embellished ear pieces in when she did Auld Lang Syne. Then the dancers covered her up with the feathers. After which we can see that the ear pieces are out. In video we can see Anthony tucking something into the back of her outfit. It's an ear piece. This was her during Emotions. Still, she had the left ear piece and I didn't see any indication that she even attempted to put it in her ear after she couldn't find the one for her right ear. Then, we get to WBT (she's put the wrap back on) and both of the ear pieces are visible, in pictures. Yet, they are visibly hanging around her neck. She didn't put them in her ears yet was still (lip) singing WBT at times, her mouth movements were matching the lyrics. It's not impossible but I doubt that the ear pieces suddenly stopped working after ALS. At this point, I'm more inclined to believe that it was a matter of the wrong backing track being used for Emotions. Unlike ALS and WBT, Emotions just had the beat and some whistles. It was a track for actually singing to but that wasn't the plan. When that went South, so did the rest of the performance. She didn't even try to salvage it. Anyone feel free to disagree but that's what I'm seeing.

Happy New Year / Mariah's Dick Clark performance (70,507) by Lila from United States
Happy New Year. It's officially 2017 in my neck of the woods. I'd like to thank God for allowing me to see my way into yet another year. I sincerely hope that everyone on here has an amazing 2017. Whatever you didn't get a chance to accomplish last year, I hope you make happen this year. Mariah, unfortunately, is leaving 2016 with a huge ass L and I'm at a loss for words about it.

Re: Have those days of love really gone? (70,423) (70,438) by Lila from United States
"She has recorded so many songs she could release a couple of those in between albums." I never thought of Mariah doing that before but that's a really great idea. Other artist do it, put out singles versus whole albums (or she could put out a whole album of unreleased songs). It would be cool.

Re: Baby (70,406) (70,419) by Lila from United States
I think 2008 - February 2014 was the best. She looked good 90' - 96' but I wouldn't say her fashion was anything to brag about. 97' and 98' had some misses but weren't too bad. 99' - 2006, overall, a no for me. 2007 she was trying to make a way. 2008 she got it. By Mariah standards it was like a miracle had occurred and it looked like she was keeping it up. 2009 and 2010, she was a little heavier than 2008 but she didn't take solace in stuffing herself into too small clothing. 2011 we didn't really see her much as she'd had the twins but when we did see her what we got was good. 2012 and 2013 (minus the Black Girls Rock event and the Nigeria and Angola performances) were amazing. All of these years she had good outfits, there were only a few misses in my book. She was happy, confident, radiant, wasn't pushing her breasts in our face. The rest of 2014 was a no for me. 2015 and 2016 were okay. There were some good moments but you could see that her fashion was dipping and she was transitioning back to too much cleavage and unflattering fashions. On top of it, we had to contend with her face having some WTF moments. Of course, late 2016 has just been aw hell. I have no hope for 2017.

Re: Why not wearing them? They're cute (70,390) (70,394) by Lila from United States
I have never understood that crap. They say they won't wear fur, they let PETA bully them into not wearing fur, and issuing PC statements against wearing it, etc. but they carry leather bags and other leather products, eat the furry little creatures, and everything else. You might as well just wear the damn fur then. I'd wear fur and don't care about anyone else's opinion on the matter. I also find it quite silly to wear faux fur and faux leather as the products, and production of them, are all toxic and bad for the environment.

Re: Commercial success debate (70,293) (70,322) by Lila from United States
Personally, all I want from Mariah is quality: good music (whenever she puts any out), good performances, appropriate and stylish clothing, showing up everywhere on time or early, getting the right people behind her that are competent and knowledgeable in their job, only doing interviews when she actually has something to promote and not rambling when she does them, nix the wine and champagne, talk about diamonds, interviews with nothing to promote, rambling, the cheap money grab ventures, and the list goes on. As in vain as it may be, I hope.

Re: Nick (70,230) (70,235) by Lila from United States
He could still slow down some more but being in the hospital is going to be Nick's reality regardless. Lupus is a chronic disease and there will always be flares. Rest will do the body good, especially if you have Lupus as you can experience really bad fatigue, but it's not a cure. I also think he most likely already eats healthy. The fact that he can go a couple months without being hospitalized, that we know of anyway, is actually pretty good, especially knowing that his Lupus affects his kidneys foremost. There are people who have to be readmitted much more often.

Re: "Baby Bling" post on MariahsWorld website (70,224) (70,232) by Lila from United States
Those were toy cars brought for their birthday. They are not that expensive and plenty of other kids have them, or versions of other luxury or non luxury toy car replicas, mostly brought on special occasions like birthdays and Christmas, same as the twins. Also, maybe I missed something but I didn't know that Monroe got a giant Cinderella bed. If you mean the one Nick bought Monroe, it was very pretty but it looked normal to me and it didn't strike me as being very expensive. Anyway, I'm not saying that the twins never got anything costly, especially because baby gear is expensive by nature anyway, and most people splurge on their kids sometimes, but most of the stuff on that list is nothing but overpriced and impractical everyday baby stuff. The twins did not have Swarovski crystal potties, Gucci baby carriers, or an almost $5K impractical and ugly stroller. Minus the car seat and the spoon, the rest is just one off items that you'd be hard pressed to find for sale because the makers already knew that it's a novelty that would take the right kind of eccentric or nouveau rich idiot to buy for a baby and those are far and in between. As for the Gucci baby carriers, I've only ever seen two celebrities use them before: Brittany and Gwen Stefani. They didn't even use them that long. The things looked flimsy, unsafe, and uncomfortable. Most of the other people who bought those things are now selling them second hand, most looking like they've never been used. Also, all of that stuff listed was reported about on other websites years ago. Mariah's website is not aimed at adults who can afford high end things. Gwyneth Paltrow's is but not hers. Mariah's website looks like yet another of those cheap websites dedicated to listing the most expensive and tacky things you can find, sprinkled with flimsy beauty and style advice so common, or common sense, that another article didn't need to be written on it.
