About Lila from United States: I love Mariah
I love to travel, dance, and eat.

Mariah's World ratings (69,160) by Lila from United States
From Headline Planet: "According to live plus same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Sunday’s episode drew a 0.50 adults 18-49 rating and 1.24 million total viewers on Bravo. The E. version only drew a 0.28 adults 18-49 rating and 0.63 million total viewers." The article goes on to say that the show probably did better on Beavo then E. because it followed The Real Housewives of Atlanta (2.74M) and some of the people who were watching that, stuck around for Mariah's show.

The only difference between the old crew and Stella and co. is that she hides her ass kissing behind this fake girl empowerment BS.

Re: Mariah's world (69,112) (69,118) by Lila from United States
I didn't like her whining about things being blamed on her when it's someone else's fault nor the digs at the old crew. Mariah needs to take responsibility for her own actions and stop acting like an innocent babe in the woods being taken advantage of. If she wanted to be on time, then she would be on time. As far as the old crew, no one had a gun to her head, forcing her to keep any of them in employment. If she wanted something and they weren't achieving what she wanted, she could have fired them at any time. She was obviously fine with the way things were. She needs to not act brand new and stop building Stella up to be so great when Stella has yet to prove herself an asset.

Mariah's World (69,094) by Lila from United States
I'm watching it now for free online on one of those websites that have like dozens of links for you to click through and see if you can find one that works lol. It's not a train wreck but I think it's stupid. That's the only word I can think of lol. IDK, in a way I still feel like it's a train wreck but a subtle one yet not the show itself but the little insights that we do get, if that makes any sense. It definitely is a reality tv show and there's definitely a lot of scripting going on. You'd have to be blind not to see that and it. The editing is choppy as all get out. Mariah can't dance, let it go. There is no choreography to speak of only an inch of sexy poses, which we already know. That was a waste of screen time lol. Tons of Mariah defending Stella. Shakespeare's "The lady doth protest too much" springs to my mind. We get the introduction of Bryan. Ugh. That call to James was so fake. Stella is everything I thought she was. Ugh. I felt like ultimately we don't get much behind the scenes of the tour. I know it stopped before the tour started but there could have been more following of the actual tour being put together than there was. Hopefully we'll see that in the other episodes.

Re: Giving the people what they want (69,061) (69,071) by Lila from United States
"I hope there are more good things in this series, especially because she said she made it for herself and for her children. I hope it is something they will be proud of." Another thing I'm still tripping off of and can't believe she tried to sell us. It sounded all good in the beginning, ya know until we got the actual footage. Then all I could think was why would Roc & Roe want to look back on you planning a wedding that you never told them about, to a man they won't remember, grinding on Bryan, pouring champagne on him, Molly not being able to cry or have a boyfriend, her freaking out over setting up a Apple TV because you cannot sleep without one, and any other unnecessary nonsense? (Why would she want to look back on any of that?) I guess they'll be requesting the version I've already put in my request for: a chopped up version with all the family scenes put into one compilation. I've seen and liked the clip with her and Big Jim but I don't know, I still worry that any substance will be drowned out by drama and stupidity. It will be a pleasant surprise if not.

Re: Giving the people what they want (69,042) (69,057) by Lila from United States
Telling someone that they should be on time is not a witch hunt. No one said that Mariah's being late was anything new but that's the point. She should not be late. It should not be a normal occurrence. Let's not act like Mariah does anything, significant enough, for charity, worthy of being highlighted by the press. And before anyone rushes to twist my words, I did not say that she does nothing for charity, just nothing worthy of great attention. It's not enough to just give money or be seen at this evening event or that in the name of charity, or have someone else do all the leg work for your charity and you show up once in a while, etc. You have to be an active participant all the time, and be on your Angelina Jolie, literally. Not gonna touch the Nick thing because what needs to be said has already been said. We already know these stunts are hype for the show. You're not telling us anything we don't know there. Here's what we're saying: We don't want it. Why does this docuseries need hype of the kind that we've been fed anyway? She can keep it. That beach crap for a skit? That tragedy should be buried and never heard of again. No, this is the right context: Mariah played herself moving into a big house, that she didn't need, for a man she barely knew, when she could've stayed in New York or at least rented a smaller/less expensive house. Who cares how much it cost her? She's not broke, as far as we know, and it's her fault she has to pay. No one gives a f*ck if Mariah dates but 1) date someone because you truly care for them and they make you happy, not because you want to prove x, y, z to a, b, c, the media, the public or anyone else and 2) don't drag them up and through Roc and Roe's life and space.

Re: MAC Mariah Beauty Icon launch slumber party (69,049) (69,052) by Lila from United States
So once again we have a little girl lounging around with adult women and men who all are dressed in lingerie. Rolling my eyes so hard right now. Mariah looks great at least. Overall I'm happy that the MAC collection is a good venture that I'm excited about, not trashy, not worrying, and is going well. Good job MAC.

Re: Piers Morgan tells Mariah to grow up (69,015) (69,022) by Lila from United States
I agree with everything he said but I'm stuck like all hell on that 12 hour wait. 12 hours Mariah? That's ridiculous. She needs to come back to Earth. It's not cute to be late all the time, keep the fans and audiences waiting and whatnot. I don't care if she's a diva, how much money she has, or the hard work she's done. I'm highly repulsed by the fans that give those excuses for her behavior. She's not the first nor the only person to work hard, or to have great talent at something, to have made something of them self, and didn't come from money, and we have to continue to do these things throughout our life, no excuses.

Re: Beach picture (69,002) (69,020) by Lila from United States
I think it would help if she picked some better jewelry designs to wear during the day. She likes to pick pieces that are more so meant to be for evening attire and I just straight up hate this one and that necklace that she wore on Ellen. Those designs were a waste of diamonds. These are three, past, Van Cleef and Arpel designs that I think are cute and could be rocked during the day without aging the wearer. I think they're classy and sophisticated yet fun. This is a set Mariah wore back in 2013, I think it was. I don't know if she owns this set or just borrowed but I could see it translating to day rather nicely because of the different shapes of the diamonds. They make it look cute and young instead of harsh. It would also be great if she threw in some color and other types of stones instead of just plain white diamonds. Color, done right, can really make you look young and bright. And yes, no more bathtub or beach moments.

Divas Live (69,014) by Lila from United States
The toy soldier theme was too cute. I also loved Mariah's costume except for the over abundance of cleavage. I wish she had more than one song but that's on VH1.

Re: Today Show IV (69,000) (69,005) by Lila from United States
I saw a pic, on IG, of her walking in the dress, while outside. I swear for a minute that I saw her crotch but looked a little more closely and realized it was just the fleshy part of the very upper portion of her thighs but an inch higher, or had she been sitting, I would've seen her crotch. So, I wouldn't be surprised if someone did see her crotch, underwear or no underwear, in at least one picture. Flashing, with a dress like that, with that high a split and its position, is hard to avoid.

Today Show IV (68,998) by Lila from United States
The Today Show interview was good, IMO lol. It was short and to the point. She didn't ramble. She wasn't defensive. Again, we don't really get anything out of her that's thought provoking about Mariah's World. Same spiel: it's a docuseries, not a reality show, it's about capturing the behind the scenes of the tour. (Mmmhmm.) It was nice that she said that she didn't think of pulling the plug on the show when she and James broke up because she would never give a person that much power over her. It's nice that she gave an answer that made her look strong. She should've been trying to look strong by taking that ring off (yes I had to say it again lol). Honestly, to me, the biggest highlight was listening to Mariah talk about Nick, the kids, and the turban. Her face lit up and she sounded and looked just like she did when they were still married. That was really nice. I know some lambs think that she just tolerates him but I think in reality they have a nice rapport.

Re: Beach picture (68,950) (68,990) by Lila from United States
I don't know what's more tragic, this picture proving to us that she really thought these pictures and that bathing suit were a good idea or the fact that she still had to have a glass of wine just to spend what was most likely not even an hour, on the beach, to take some staged photos.

Re: Lettuce pray (68,905) (68,938) by Lila from United States
The webmaster already told you what it is but I'll add that I, and a few others, don't think it was a good move for Nick to have gotten this girl pregnant. However, even with a baby on the way, his life still isn't messy like Mariah's is right now. I know many are wishing on stars for it to be true but it's not. So far, Nick is only having a baby. He's not stuck in a messy love triangle guessing if the baby is his or not. The baby's mother isn't running to the tabloids left and right. He's not exposing his children to different women. He's not going around proclaiming to be in love with one woman, getting engaged, all the while grinding on his female employee. Yes he's on the friends with benefits track but he's grown and makes it abundantly clear that he's not ready for a relationship beyond that and the women are okay with that. Right now, Nick is simply having a baby and the twins are getting a sibling. Mariah, on comparison is a hot mess.

Thanks for the link. It's a great article. Much of it reminds me of the Variety article Ribbon linked. I love that this article is blunt, though. I don't think anyone's buying what Mariah is selling. Anyone else still incredulous over the fact that her ass really tried to sell us that spiel about it being a docuseries and not a reality tv show? People will tune in for the drama and mess no doubt but respect she will not garner.

Re: The kiss pic (68,906) (68,915) by Lila from United States
You described them perfectly. In my mind I was like they look like two overgrown children being stupid, the same way many of us are were when we actually were 12. Some of these lambs/fans will turn in a minute. The hoops they jump through and the fickleness they display lol. I would be tired.

Re: The kiss pic (68,882) (68,892) by Lila from United States
They're both wearing sunglasses so I think it's doubtful they're doing a video. This is just the James Packer MO all over again. Mariah didn't feel anything for Packer and she doesn't feel anything for Bran Flake but this is a way to get attention, just like Packer was a way to get attention. Same behaviors going on: Pap strolls complete with awkward poses and awkward kissing. Also, am I the only one that has seen some lambs say that Mariah and Bran Flake have chemistry but have looked high and low and still can't find this chemistry that they speak of?

Re: Mariah kissing Tang (68,825) (68,846) by Lila from United States
Nick was not living off Mariah's dime by a long shot. When he and Mariah traveled somewhere together, he was on the private plane. That's logistics. When he went somewhere, by himself, he traveled commercially. Now that they're divorced, and we know Nick can afford to fly private, he still, 9/10, flies commercial. That's what he prefers. If Mariah was willing to fly commercial, he probably would have had her along on a commercial flight but that's not Mariah. The NYC penthouse and Bahamas home were purchases that Mariah made before she and Nick were even married so I don't see how they figure into anything. The home he and Mariah owned in Cali they went half on. Nick owned his own home before he married Mariah, he also bought a home for his mom and grandparents. He bought the engagement ring he gave to Mariah. People started taking Nick seriously because they thought to themselves that if Mariah married him after 11 years of being single then he must have some appeal? It certainly couldn't have been many people. Let's not act like a great majority of the public takes Mariah seriously because they don't. If they didn't take her seriously, they wouldn't have taken Nick seriously. People started taking Nick seriously because he put in the hard work to make that happen. People will always acknowledge and respect hard work, even more so than any amount of talent someone displays. The only thing marrying Mariah gave Nick was more visibility, that's it. Everything else he had to work for. If he had no hard work in him, if he wasn't constantly trying to get to the next level, people would've continued to believe that he was a joke and question why Mariah married him. Also, Nick didn't have "a job" before he married Mariah. That's what Tanaka has. He had multiple careers. He was an actor, a writer, a producer, and an entrepreneur. Still is. Lastly, it's crazy to believe that Nick had nothing to lose in his relationship to Mariah. Tanaka has nothing to lose. He's a back-up dancer that most don't know unless they're diehard fans and even some of them didn't know who he was. Nick was the smaller celebrity when he got with Mariah but he was still a celebrity. Many people think a great many things about Mariah, good and bad, but will still give her career credit and props, even if it's just the 90's portion. They will still acknowledge that she's self-made and has a boat load of money, at that. She's an A-list celebrity, regardless. Nick didn't have that cushion. If his and Mariah's relationship went South too soon, or he was seen to be at fault in any big way, or if he wasn't on his A-game and trying to improve himself always, his image could've taken a serious beating and possibly never recovered. Nick didn't have everything to lose but he had a lot. Mariah had nothing to lose.

I'm at least hoping for a decent ending with no ceremony to anybody lol. I'm hoping. That Variety article you posted was really good. It also confirms my previous thoughts about the whole show.
