Re: Caution (91,655) (91,662) by Terna from Nigeria "Caution" the title track has also grown on me too. It was just ok at first, but much later on it became a top 5 favorite. Part of this had to do with looking up the lyrics since she raps sings kinda fast like in "Breakdown". Most people say it sounds like an Aaliyah song. (Monday 16 December 2019; 18:25)

This put a big smile on my face and honestly I got chill when she hit the first chorus, with the way she turned back to look at her backup. Guinness World Records (91,462) by Terna from Nigeria Who needs the Grammy's when you're making and breaking Guinness World Records like Mariah just did? Now that's a powerful world record that's gonna last, hers is one of the last songs included and recognized as one of the holiday classics. It will be playing long after were all gone. How the mighty have fallen (91,408) by Terna from Nigeria Going through the Grammys nominations list, I just felt like I was going through nominations for a much lesser award like Teen Choice Awards. Lol. It doesn't feel serious at all. Where's the quality? The serious artists and the obscure ones who are really good but don't get the platform. Heck they don't even respect her as a human being first of all, then as a grown woman and an artist who has survived this cutthroat industry almost 30 years and is still thriving. Miss You Most (At Christmas Time). (90,868) by Terna from Nigeria There's something about this song that just takes me there and puts me in a really good mood. It was the first song I heard from "Merry Christmas", I had no idea there even was a Christmas album but I think it's the way I first heard it that made such an impression. I watched the video at the same time I heard the song for the first time. It was Christmas day around 2:00 am can't recall the year, late 90's most likely 1999. I was alone watching late night music videos. "Last Christmas" by 'Wham" had just played and then the next song that came on was a Mariah Carey song one I had never heard before, and it was a Christmas song on Christmas Day. Oh the Joy. Lol. Didn't even realize it was a sad song until much later. Haha. I was a new Lamb then and boy was it an event to discover a new Mariah record from her already vast body of work even then. Somehow Mariah songs or performances always seemed to come on every time I was alone watching TV. (Saturday 21 September 2019; 01:30)

What happened to the magic? Where did it up and leave to? Music used to inspire and move people, now it only gives a headache. It's sad. Truly sad. Why would Mariah suddenly explode over Damizza some 15 years later and write a diss song and a catchy one at that over someone so insignificant in her career? You hear that high note at the end "cos boy you're thirsty" that's emotions stemming from a breakup powering that note. Lol. I got startled listening to the song when it got to the end. Billboard Icon (89,440) by Terna from Nigeria Congratulations are in order for Mariah Carey. I loved everything about the performance to the ensemble, looking very classy and seeing the other stars fangirling over this true legend made my heart smile. I still remember when I became a fan a long time ago and the very moment I chose to be unapologetic about my love for Mariah. Years later I'm still very much a Lamb, lol and boy am I so proud of this woman, proud to have come on this journey with her and still support and pray for her and be here for her years later. A true definition of a fighter and a hero. And yes her music has saved my life in so many ways than one. That acceptance speech was everything. When she said we her fans pulled her out of the depths of hell and brought her back, wow I lost it. I felt that in my soul. (Friday 3 May 2019; 13:38)

However Mariah's always had a knack for sneaking in high notes here and there most times very faintly in the background until it sounds like a wind instrument like on "When You Believe" she warbles an adlib before the harmony fade out of the song.
