2014 Elusive Chanteuse show (63,812)
by Malcolm from Asia

She's so beautiful here. I'm confused because 2014 gained her a lot of weight but she looks fantastic here, her body looks thin and her face doesn't look full compared today. Her make-up also looked great.

I love that idea. I can see a Marilyn Monroe love interest looking for a Valentine moment. I can also envision a movie about everlasting love during WWII. This movie should showcase a couple who found each other again after being seperated during war. That idea was pow.

I think that love conquers all. If you truly love each other, sexual chemistry will happen. You can always work at it because you love the person. Making love is different from having sex. Waiting is a great thing. It shows Mariah has respect for herself, values the sanctity of marriage and she knows her worth. The longer you wait, the bigger the prize. She's doing it right.

Mariah Hallmark movies (63,802)

Not to spoil a potential movie idea for Mariah, but I'd love to see her direct or star in a period movie. And definitely not a slavery period, but a cute 1950's or 1960's era. Music of the 60's is so iconic, she'd have lots to work with, not to mention the fashions. She tried it a little with Oh Santa video, but she was so pregnant then. I want to see hats, pumps and cute pocketbooks. Lol. And the cars of that eta are everything.

My All remix (63,801)

Is definitely better. The original is dark, romantic and sexy. But the remix gives it so much more life and makes me dance. I love the "feel your body", "feel your body" parts.

I always loved "My all" with so much passion. I can't count the many times I listened to it, the remixes, the live versions, I hunted for every single live version I could find of it, she always sang it with such an emotion. As a Latina I was so happy to know "My All" had a Spanish version but after listening to it a few times I concluded that it wasn't as good as the original in English. Her Spanish has never been strong and the lyrics weren't exactly the same, but I understand the lyrics got arranged to fit the melody. I know Mariah said to be unhappy with the Spanish version because it wasn't true to what she penned. Still is amazing how delicate yet so powerful at the same time is that song. Definitely one of my top favs. The remix "Stay a While" is so sexy, the video was wonderful, I loved that underground vibe with the dark ambience.

It is hot in the sense that you both would really want each other very much after such long wait, yes. But here is the thing, I see it as something great if you already know the guy in the intimacy because if you never ever tried anything, how do you know you will like the dude after married? Like, what if you don't like the way he smells, or the way he touches you, or the way he performs lol. There are so many what ifs. Now, if you already tried once and think it was what you really wanted and there's chemistry then it makes it really hot waiting that long and looking forward an amazing time. Otherwise is gambling, if you don't like it how would you react having to do it over and over with the years to come. I couldn't.

Thanks for that info RJJ12, I missed that moment with Mario Lopez, I will be checking it out. I think comedy seems very suitable for her, at least as first movie goes. I knew she was going to write songs for the movies, which is what makes them even more exciting. I loved Tennessee song "Right to dream", it was beautiful, very inspiring. B you always kill me with your posts, they are so much fun to read. I agree that only her fragile friend should be directing her acting too lol. Mariah is hit and miss when it comes to acting, but if something showed this last Christmas movie is that if she is acting, she needs some director couching. I don't believe she was too bad, but sometimes her acting looked forced and not very natural. The debut as director was very good though. PS: Bill, thanks. I saw this picture and thought she looked posh and radiant. I loved it.

Some consider My All Mariah's signature song. It's an anthem. Even Ms. Lopez praised the song.

"My All" (63,790)
by Billy from Greece
| |
|
|
Speaking of the gorgeousness of "My All", it was a big hit here in Greece and is still played regularly on the radio. It might as well be my most played Mariah song in the past two years for some reason. I adored it ever since I first heard it, but these past couple of years, I just can't get it out of my head. I'm singing it constantly, probably because of the many variations in the vocal arrangements she's done over the years, I don't know. She did sing the hell out of it during The Elusive Chanteuse Show also, when in fact its lyrics were a reality for her, probably more than ever before. Her rendition in the Amsterdam show this year was also amazing to witness (that "baby can you feel me" just snatched all wigs I've ever owned) to the point that I felt a lump in my throat after its climax. To me, it's one of those songs that can floor you if you surrender to it.

My All is a fan gem but they never really play it on radio and never really gets the love of WBT or a few of the classics. Still never a video I would watch over and over. It's just cute.

I don't usually agree with your posts due to your strong position about the voice. But I must say, My All is indeed her deepest #1. One Sweet Day might come close but it always gave me the post-funeral feeling after the real heartache is over. WBT definitely isn't that strong, it's more like a frantic high school girl not sure of what to make sense of her feelings. My All is about a grown woman whose heart is torn apart. It's almost suicidal. I've never been able to connect with My All, or with the other "clones" as you named them. But the emotion in the lyrics, her voice and the video are undeniable. My All might not have topped Billboard for a long time but it's one of her few #1's that was a consistent hit throughout the world.

"Bad Video"? Dear Lord please take that line back. I checked your message from my phone and then had to open it from my laptop to see if I read your message correctly haha. "My All" is one of the greatest Mariah Carey videos ever. The visuals, the expressions, the vibe, the color scheme and lighting. It was perfect. I thought the video brilliantly captured the mood, depth and emotion of the song. The video managed to capture the deep dark emotional aspect of the song with it's gorgeous visuals. Every frame was perfect. Mariah looked absolutely beautiful and sexy (without even trying) and at the same time she looked so vulnerable throughout the song, especially on to the water. "My All" is hands down one of the best Mariah videos ever.

I just hope that if she casts herself in the movies that she plays a different character besides diva or mean girl. Diva is not always funny to me. That's what made me not want to watch the first Hallmark movie. The character was something we always see from her. I'd love to see her doing something in comedy. She's funny as hell when she lets loose.

She said on Mario Lopez that the first movie was like a comedy that will come out around a holiday (I think Valentine's Day). She didn't want to go into detail because she said she didn't want her ideas stolen. Lol. I hope it's something creative as well. I've always wanted Betcha Gon Know played out. Can you image.
