MC Facebook trending (EW rave review of new song) (43,703) by Keagon michael from USA I think it's awesome how Mariah on the Today show is trending, but boy there are more haters commenting than fans. People were saying their ears were bleeding from her ABMB performance. I do wish Mariah could come off humble like the old days. With songs like these... (43,695) by Eternal from Italy After listening to Thirsty and now YDKWTD, I'm adamant that Mariah shouldn't release another official single before the album is out. Who knows what other gems might be on the album that we haven't heard yet? YDKWTD has that retro, 70s disco-inspired vibe that is so popular now. It reminds me of Jennifer Hudson's recent single I Can't Describe The Way I Feel actually. Very feel good and breezy. It would be perfect if she enlisted some house DJ producers like Duke Dumont, Tensnake or even Daft Punk to remix it into a deep house anthem. MC might just turn this whole era around with the quality of her new music. I have said before that's the only way she can salvage the mistakes of Triumphant and YME. Why the heck did she release a monotonous song like You're Mine when there were so many other great songs on the album? Her vocals for the Today Show were more or less how she has sounded in the past few years. Pitchy and rather nasal. Vocal-wise, I don't think we should put our hopes up for anything resembling Daydream or Emotions, I'm just happy if it's better than MOAIA. (Friday 16 May 2014; 17:29)

Today Show (43,694) by B from USA I enjoyed Mariah's performance on the Today show. She didn't use her whistle register which is forgivable. She seemed to be having throat issues and hearing problems. Maybe she's got a cold or a sore throat. She has been recording and doing interviews so it's understandable. I love that she performed a new song. She nailed that performance. The only complaint I have is the glove. And the dress. She needs to rehire the stylist (and team) that she worked with while promoting E=MC2. She looked young and classy during that era. (Friday 16 May 2014; 17:23)

You Don't Know What To Do (43,693) by 123 from USA The best song yet. She sang live. I love the smooth mello groove and the full voice vocals. She was singing on this one. I love the sassy lyrics. This needs to be a single yesterday. Did anyone else notice her confidence when performing this one? I haven't seen that in a long time. Now I'm excited. I'm a newly divorcee so this will definitely be my new theme song. Release this now Mariah. (Friday 16 May 2014; 16:56)

Mariah on the Today Show review (43,692) by ADAM from USA I think she lip synced YDK the new song because new songs should be heard as the record and are a tough sell if sung live because fans can't sing along and the audio is not clear. However, her live version of TMB was embarrassing. As a fan even I couldn't lie about how thin her vocals were for such an easy song to sing. I really think it's true what people have said throughout the years about Mariah's voice suffering vocal nodules and the damaging way she sings through them ultimetly resulting in her losing her range and texture. This has been said many times over by vocal speciallists and doctors so please don't bring on the hate. ABMB was good and sounded great. I think she was better this time around with the live performance vs on GMA last year. BTW does anyone else feel during her interviews she sounds so disinterested in her answers and always uses the same sound bites about her babies and Nick? You aren't the first nor last person to have twins, please move onto a new subject and stop expecting the world to throw you a parade because you gave birth. It's so tiresome, instead let's talk about why there hasn't been no release of that Beautiful remix with new vocals from 7/23 voice message. (Friday 16 May 2014; 16:55)

Today show performances (43,691) by Kenny from Canada Were pretty rough but I'm glad she got through them without lip synching (TMB and ABMB at least). She actually hit some of the harder parts but was kind of pitchy and I think that's because she can't hear herself over the band and the crowd. Loving the new song You Don't Know What To Do. New song reaction (43,689) by Gilbert from USA I'm not going to bash this song, someone made a comment about I'm That Chick Part 2 and I didn't think of that until it was mentioned. I think I could agree with that comment. It didn't fit my personal taste but as most of us agree that Mariah is giving everybody a little taste of everything. My personal favorite so far is Thirsty and I wish it would be available already, not sure why it's released on radio and not on iTunes. You think they would want to make some money. "You don't know what to do" was catchy and a great single choice in my opinion. This was just the start of her album promotion. Today show (43,686) by Mara from United States I think she did great. Whatever people may say, TMB was all live. No lipping there. Most of ABMB was live, not sure about YDKWTD, but there is no doubt that song has hit potential. It is catchy and you can't get it out of your head after first listen. Has that rnb sound too like TEOM. Brian Michael Cox worked with her on that so he brought that same vibe. I thought the interview was great too. She had her diva moments but stayed on track with the album and how it was for "us". I really think she tried to please her fans on this one and give her diverse fan base what they wanted. I can't wait to hear the rest. I just wish it was closer to the release. A nice early surprise digital release would be a dream right now. YDKWTD ft. Wale (43,685) by Brad from USA Now this is what I am talking about. In my opinion, this should be the next single and served up immediately. It has everything. The right tempo, hook, vocals, guest rap (which is "bright" and keeps the tempo and doesn't distract from it). It reminds me of "You're So Cold" in that it is an unexpected uptempo that will get people up and moving. This song has made me excited for the new album. And can I just say how exciting it was to hear the debut of a new Mariah song through a live performance. For the nostalgia, people. I know Mariah is sorta throwing the spaghetti on the wall and seeing if anything sticks with this album, but I think this one has some sticking power in the pop arena. Lets enjoy it and be well. YDKWTD feat Wale (43,681) by Alex from England Damn, this is the song I've been waiting for, a summer smash, an instant catchy song. It is so reminiscent of her work from the 90's, finally a pop uptempo. I am elated and over the moon, I don't know how I'm possibly gonna go to work after all the emotion. This needs to be a single now, right now seriously. I hope I won't have to go through the same disappointment after Stay The Night and That Chick were never properly released.
