MC 30 media blitz (107,557) by Shezz from Pk Mariah is taking the MC30 promotion very seriously I'm so happy. According to MariahNow Brazil's instagram she will make a major holiday announcement on 31st October with Melissa Forman at 8:20am on LiteFm 93.9. On the LiteFm website it says she will kick off the holiday music with them on November 1st with a special message. MariahNow also says she's recorded a Christmas special with BBC for UK and they have a beautiful new picture of her from the upcoming LA times shoot I hope this link I've attched works. Anyone else noticed Mariah dressing more "demure and mindful" since the last couple of months (Mimi L. that was for you). Ps. I started my Mariah Christmas music already this morning. Anybody else? Maybe MC will announce that there will be another CBS Christmas special this year and some other surprises. The Drew Barrymore Show is produced by CBS Media Ventures. I was at my high school's football game and the crowd went crazy when Fantasy ft. O.B.D. played on the field. The young people today could make Fantasy a hit again in 2025 if MC remiangined it to a new sample for a stadium jam ft. Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne. MC has to hook these young people with one of her old songs if she is going catch radio's attention next year. Maybe Fantasy is the song that could do it. What are the Lambs' thoughts? (107,430) by Shezz from Pk Robert Anthony, I think we are forgetting the live performances she was giving early last year. I made an effort not to see them because they made me uncomfortable. And if MC is one thing, she's self conscious and cares how she appears. I think she made a conscious decision after that that she'd rather fully lip and only look bad to the handful of us who notice rather than sound bad and off key to the entire world. To the average listener, the vocals she's recorded for this year's live shows seem very much live. Do I wish she could still sing live? Yes I do. Am I going to renounce my lambily passport if she keeps lipping? Never in a million years. I'm more interested in the music she releases to add to her catalog that I'll be listening to until I'm old and have no teeth. Will I care then whether she lipped or sang live 40 years ago in Beijing or Rio or Vegas? I think not. There are much bigger issues in the world to lose sleep over. People are then seen looking up at the trees as if to say, what was that? The whole concept revolves around "she's thawing" premise. I love it. Just hearing those first few notes gets me excited too. She has been looking great. And yes, the monitor watching is extremely annoying. She won't let anyone take them away - she clearly needs them. Is she using it more for covers and songs she doesn't sing often or everything? Maybe the monitor tells her which lines to sing and which to mime? Mariah at Rock in Rio (107,386) by Pedro from Brazil It was an awesome concert, and they say it was her biggest crowd ever. She looked amazing, and her vocals were on point. My only gripe was that it felt short, but I loved how she switched up the setlist a bit and still sang all our favorite songs. In São Paulo, after the show ended and the lights went out, she came back a few minutes later and sang IWKWLI barefoot, catching everyone off guard - even her crew. Let’s be respectful (107,272) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter This isn't directed at anyone in particular so please don't come at me, but let's all try to be respectful during this time. We can all sit and speculate and debate whether Mariah should try and mend her relationship with her brother or should not bother. I know we are all coming from a place of care and love for Mariah but it's not our place to say what she should do with her relationships. We don't have the full facts of what went on behind the scenes, we don't know how much it impacted Mariah, yes she talks about it in her memoirs but she also holds back so we might not have the whole picture. I understand the need to have family around especially when you have a loss as big as this but at the same time what if the family member is someone who causes you to lose your mental peace and well being? All of this to say, let's not fight amongst ourselves for something that's very personal to Mariah. Let us just hope she does what gives her peace and that she has the support she needs during this time of such tragic loss. She's had such a complicated relationship with her mother and sister it must be a lot of conflicting feelings she's going through right now. Let's give her the space to process those. Much ado about nothing (107,173) by Edward from USA Mariah is clearly relying on lip-syncing to pre-recorded tracks quite a bit. She might sing a few words live here and there, but the lipping is at an all-time high. When you compare footage from different shows, the only thing that changes are her spoken or talk-sung parts; everything else seems to be pre-recorded. Additionally, she frequently appears a dazed, whatever medication she's on seems to be affecting her movement, speech, and even the parts she sings live. I'm not criticizing her; she needs to take her meds to manage her bipolar disorder, but it's evident that she's on some strong stuff. (Saturday 10 August 2024; 16:50)
