And how I the lyrics "Although that knife was shipping away at me, they turned their eyes away and went home to sleep." The song is like a poem. And when "Rainbow Interlude" follows it's so wonderful and perfect, like at the end everything will be fine. I miss that type of songs from Mariah. The "sunflower remix" that I just discovered too is even more deep. It's so haunting and special. (Tuesday 26 September 2017; 20:19)

I can only imagine how hard it is for a sensitive person to stay in that business so long. The fame, the fake people, the high expectations because she's is the one and only Mariah Carey. Like you said I hope she finds happiness again and something new where she can live her creativity and talent. I'm very thankful for all she's given us since '90 as well. She almost feels like a "friend" that's why I care so much of her as a person not only the singer. And so many great singers and entertainers has fallen so hard, it's enough. So sweet when she does the little moves. It is just authentic, and that's what I miss the most lately. But Bryan really seems to be the closest for the moment, but if that is helpful? We'll see. Standing there with her beauty and gorgous aura with the voice of an angel was more than enough. I remember when Britney came out as a teen star. I thought, poor girl she needs to dance all the time because she can't sing. Lol. A lot of entertainers need a big show and it's ok and can be fun. But Mariah was a wonder just to look at her and her the beautiful voice. I've seen her live on tour three times, and the moments where it was quiet and she was just "standing there" were the best. She needs a magic back, her MC style and most of all her confidence. She was always shy, but she rocked so many times with it. (Thursday 21 September 2017; 11:15)

Re: VH1 (78,455) (78,461) by MusicfanJ from Germany Completley agree with Bliss. I just watched the performance and my first thought was, it seems that she isn't able to move. Not natural at all. It looks more like that than laziness. Who knows what's really going on? After her shoulder injury she seemed to have lost her confidence and won't move live on stage anymore. I do think it's a combination of private problems (the divorce, maybe medication and so on) and real health issues. The show concept with the helicopter and jet ski was nice. But she clearly isn't herself since a while. And nobody seems to help her or even try. A second breakdown could be worse than the first. She has given so much with her music, she deserves to be happy and loved. I think she's heartbroken plus the health issues. But what can we fans do? I'm hoping the best for her, I MC. I don't know what happened that so many things has become "questionable". And I'm on a point where I'm not sure if I want to know it. There's much pain inside of her, she's still hiding. I mean it's cool to have a "Christmas show" and the Las Vegas shows (because she could stay at one place) but she needs time to get her energy and spirit back. As an artist and musician she's not only a "working machine". She needs free time to get new ideas and I'm not talking about a perfume. MIAMTEC can't be the last album. But yes, it feels like she's tired of releasing an complete album. But I won't give up hope that there'll be another masterpiece. The reality is, it will take a long time, if she keeps her unprofessional management and lifestyle. But I'll wait for Butterfly 2.0. (Monday 18 September 2017; 19:35)

Butterfly - the videos (78,391) by MusicfanJ from Germany I was watching all the videos of the album and like Mara and others said, it's just pure and beautiful art. It was a time where videos had class, style and sometimes even a little message. They definitely all had a story. Maybe the celebration of "Butterfly" reminds Mariah that she's not only a living legend and a famous diva, she is a true artist. A musical genius, in 97 everyone with taste could see it. It's time to show it in 2017 again. The music biz is so boring nowadays, I need a new album from MC. (Sunday 17 September 2017; 18:26)

I know it's not realistic but I love the thought. Imagine this, Mariah would hear that her true fans/lambs made "Butterfly" number one. Usually that happens when the artist is g. (I won't say it). Hmm I hope Mariah knows how this record is loved and appreciated by those who counts. Her songwriting and voice on that album is pure perfection, pure emotion and 100% MC. One sweet day (Acapella) (78,350) by MusicfanJ from Germany Since we were talking about OSD lately I had to listen to my beloved acapella version. And after watching this, I couldn't stop the tears. Only Mariah can do this. I love all her acapella versions, official or not. What do you think? "Butterfly" and "Underneath the stars" and "Hero" are also magical. I do hope it's not true. I just saw yesterday an interview with Aaron Carter and was shocked how he looked and how broken he seemed. I think to experience fame as a kid is often like poison. Funny that you mention Jennifer Paige's "Crush". Loved it so much back then because the part when she sang "it's just a little crush" reminded me of Mariah somehow. The quality [was] definitely better in the 90ies. (70ies and 80ies are of course great too.) Mariah truly ruled that decade like no other female artist. If you watch videos of that time it's almost unbelievable. Her look, her voice and her aura. I think the list [was] posted here, great songs on it. (Thursday 31 August 2017; 19:21)

I think since they had Justin Bieber on the remix the song got played even more. I don't care that "Desoacito" has success. It's just a one-hit wonder. And I can't hear it on the radio anymore. I find it so impressive too, that such a young woman was able to write a song like this. How I wish Mariah would write a song like this again. At the age of only twenty (or even 18) she created music with such class and quality. Unbelievable. It was a wonderful time where the music had substance. Now 99 % is about superficial, boring topics if you listen to the "youngsters" on the radio/charts. The heart and real emotions are often missing. I will always love Mariah for her debut. And lately I really appreciate and enjoy "IWTKWLI". Languishing is Mariah at her best, I only wish the song [was] longer, but her interludes are always so good. You get smarter because of the experiences and so on. I'm still a huge fan but sometimes I don't recognize Mariah. Never thought I would say that. The persona she shows nowadays is not the Mariah I fell in love too. Not at all. But I do believe that inside herself there's still the Mariah most of us fell in love with. A regular song ok, but not a summer hit. And it's nothing more. It will only be a one hit wonder. That Despacito is so long at number one shows how boring the charts are today.
