About Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter:

Re: Mariah in London (71,262) (71,270) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Ribbon B, I can't with your hawk eye. You miss absolutely no detail. The possibility of a re-shot finale is just frustrating. It's evident from the show that a lot of the scenes are re-shot. And yet it's a docu-series, not a reality show.

I just can't. This is hilarious though.

Nope, they are also in London. Mishka posted 3 photos of her getting on the private jet to London. When Stella and the crew is gone, Tanaka will also be gone.

Re: Mel B (71,250) (71,252) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Andrew's opinions is now representing society's opinion? I'm "proper" scared. "Bloody hell." Also you can take that finger you are holding up and shove it in it's rightful place, your nose dahlin', your nose. Oh come on now Andrew, the number of times you have asked me to put my picture up, people will say you're in love. And like Edward has so kindly explained to you before, I have had it as my display picture more than once. Can't help it if your short term memory keeps forgetting or you pretend to forget just like you always "forget" whether I am a girl or guy even though I told you and many others told you the same thing. And nope if Ed Sheeran would have said something that made sense without making assumptions, I wouldn't shut his opinion down either. You know better than to accuse me of always thinking Mariah is right, because you have been here long enough so see I always criticize her when she's wrong. But then again when do you ever make sense right?

Re: Mel B (71,240) (71,243) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Andrew is butt hurt that Mel B is being called irrelevant, so of course he has to come here to pour more dump on Mariah. Why so pressed dahlin'? And are you really going to compare her lip syncing whistles at a television studio set on Graham Norton to my suggestion that she "possibly" would whistle over them for "more impact" at a huge place like Times Square? Sir have you been to Times Square and seen how noisy it is? It's not far fetched to assume that she would whistle over them for more impact. Plus what I said was a "suggestion", I don't pretend to pass my opinions as facts like you do. What is your main problem really? There is no doubt she was going to sing the rest of the song completely live because the lead vocals were missing completely, so why are you suddenly attacking her for having the whistles present? As for Mel B, I won't even bother to argue with you on that, she is the most irrelevant Spice Girl and now you can go play with your Spice Girl dolls since you are so upset. Here's to more abusive and hateful messages in 2017 from Andrew, but hey, we love everybody even when they are adults sticking fingers into their noses.

Re: Billboard and Ed Sheran (71,215) (71,223) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
It was nice of Ed to defend her, and as a singer and performer he would know and understand her problem. He also explained what many people were questioning that why didn't see just wing it, Ed explained that it would not be in sync with the audio played and that would make it sound even worse so not singing was really her only option. I'm glad they asked Ed this question because his fans are obviously a lot of young people (along with older people), and these young people are usually behind the memes and twitter jokes. So now that they'll hear what Mariah actually suffered from an artist they know and listen to, they'll believe her. I'll say this though, if Mariah's image was a little softer and a little more down to earth, people wouldn't go after her as much. Like the more they think she's full of herself (which she is not, but people don't understand the diva act), the more people try to tear her down. Like when Adele messed up at the Grammy's (was it the Grammy's?) no one dragged her, in fact people sympathized with her (not talking about celebs, but the GP) because people relate to her. I'm not saying Mariah should be like Adele, she doesn't need to, Mariah herself had a very down to earth and vulnerable image before. If only she can bring that out again, people wouldn't attack her as much.

Re: New MW clip (71,206) (71,219) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I actually wouldn't be surprised if they re-shot scenes to add in that Tanaka "reaction". Simply because in the first episode (or second) they had that whole scene with Tanaka in her dressing room trying to pass it off as the SSF tour but in reality it was shot just months ago. Then the scenes they show in the "still to come" part after the show has that beach scene, which looks like it's from the those infamous Hawaii beach frolicking pictures were taking. So there is no doubt they edited a lot of crap. I also want to know why Tanaka was at the dress fitting? Shouldn't it just be really close people (in Mariah's case that's Stella and Mishka) and maybe your assistant? Why would you feel the need to bring your back up dancer along? There is absolutely no line drawn between Mariah's professional and personal life and that's a mature problem. She tends to surround herself with people on her payroll, people who'll never be completely honest with her. Anyways that dress was gorgeous though, everything from the design, the exquisite embroidery/embellishment, the lovely soft dusty pink color, the fit, the cut. Everything was perfect. Mariah would look so beautiful in it. Monroe was also looking so gorgeous in the matching dress. She'll grow up to be a stunner like her mommy.

Re: Article: Mel B wonders if Mariah "doe" (71,207) (71,218) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Mel B is probably the most irrelevant member of the Spice Girls, and I haven't kept up with them since I was in grade 2 when they used to be popular. Her opinions don't matter but of course she'll try to get a moment from the trending topic that is Mariah's NYE performance, to try and get some relevancy for 5 seconds.
(Friday 13 January 2017; 6:24)
Re: NYE (71,208) (71,217) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
This also isn't the first time she said something like "Mariah is the biggest star here". This is something an established artist wouldn't need to keep saying because people already know that, only wanna be up and coming people would do something immature like that. Mariah has never spoken about herself like that, there were a lot of other big celebs there and it's disrespectful to them even if they are not bigger than Mariah. This whole "she is doing you a favor by showing up" just makes her sound more and more like a diva. This isn't the brand that was associated with Mariah before.

Re: Article: Mel B wonders if Mariah "doesn't have that voice" (71,195) (71,196) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I too think the backing track has the whistles to have more impact when she whistles over them live. Regardless, I wouldn't blame her if she even thought of just lipping it because she didn't want to risk it on live TV. But the whistles weren't loud enough so I think it's safe to assume that she was indeed going to whistle over the backing track.

Hey Mara, this is the link. It's not really an interview, she just gave the quotes I posted. I bet Tommy is out there laughing because Stella is proving him right every day with this unprofessional attitude.

Re: Why [...] mad? (71,177) (71,179) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
See these people who say these eventually don't stay around for long either. I mean there is only so many times you can come here and only have "you are a hater" as your only argument. Then there are the other locos who will make multiple accounts to have a conversation with themselves all the while blaming others of faking multiple accounts. Also the level of their maturity shows when they say they wish Mariah keeps Stella just because it pisses some people off, it's like it doesn't matter to them that Stella is dragging Mariah's image through the mud, but nope let's just keep her because she provokes the "haters". As for Stella's latest comments, as hard as it for me to believe that Mariah is allowing such foul mouthed rants when all her life she has always been subtle with her clap backs and never resorted to cursing, I have to unfortunately accept this is the new Mariah now. The rate at which Stella is going, I won't be surprised if pretty soon she'll claim to the press she resurrected Mariah's career or heck she "made" Mariah Carey who she is, all the while whispering "you're the best, you're a superstar, you're beautiful" in Mariah's ears. Her hot head is however going to make her self destruct eventually. Hope it's sooner than later so we can move on from this parasite family.

If Mariah doesn't collaborate with The Weeknd, I will have a meltdown of "Glitter" proportions. I'll have a meltdown like Stella too. Foul mouthed rants and all.

New Stella quotes about Tommy (71,172) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
1) "How dare he? Whose career has he managed in 15 years? He couldn't walk a day in our shoes. We work our asses off. I wear bigger heels than his b---s."
2) "Since I started working with her, Mariah has had nothing but unbridled success." (Stella look up the meaning of unbridled, while you're at it, look up the meaning of success.)
3) "Her career has not taken a hit. Everything that she has touched since I started managing her has been a huge success." Yes before you Mariah Carey was a struggling artist, trying to make her mark, you made her relevant, that's what Zarina said at least.
I can't deal with how immature and unprofessional this woman is. Taking a major international music royalty and cheapening her image and then when everyone else has moved on from this NYE disaster, she stays complaining about it. How butt hurt are you about Tommy's words that you are releasing statements to multiple publications? Why is it that you only speak up when you or your kids are being attacked but never do anything to take the heat off Mariah? Selfish.

Beauty and the Beast (71,171) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Ugh so I have been wishing ever since the new "Beauty and the Beast" live action movie was announced that Mariah would do the theme song for it. But now supposedly Ariana and John Legend will do it. Stella obviously can never book her for these high profile things. It would have been so great if Mariah and John Legend sang it.

Molly was not in the latest episode so fingers crossed she is fired. But of course Tanaka is still around and last episode was just full of Tanaka. Dude is cute and I found him attractive before, but now after seeing the how real his thirst for attention is, big turn off.

Re: Record label wants to put out new single (71,123) (71,127) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Epic would need Mariah to promote it. Plus maybe they need Mariah's permission to release it since Mariah owns her music. They probably have the song ready though, I'm guessing it's the one she wrote with Crystal. I wish she'd just do a collaboration with The Weeknd and just release that first, to get the hype rolling.

Eye roll (71,125) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Every other day some newcomer will come here and call the people who have been around forever "haters". But then disappear after a few days. I also find it funny when people say "this board is so negative, full of haters", so then why do you join? No one forced you, plus I see this same "this place is negative" comment on UKMix and some other boards. So people seem to have a hard time digesting facts and strong opinion. No one on this board denies Mariah's talent, her accomplishments, her potential and her legacy. However they have opinions that are mostly backed by receipts. Learn to accept others' opinions instead of pulling the hater cards. Coming on this board calling people "haters" or "you guys are old" is just lame and the easy way out. I saw someone on UKMix say "you guys are young fans that's why you hate on her". Like one can't win. This is a board, not a shrine, people will have mixed opinions, state your opinions without the childish "lambs vs goat" thing. And stop pretending like this board is the worst there is, if you find one that's all positive and unicorns and butterflies then by all means don't waste your time here. Why waste time with haters when you can dive in a pool of rainbow and sunshine?

Re: Stella almost sent Tanaka home (71,106) (71,116) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
This whole Tanaka drama was manufactured by Stella so her saying she wants to send Tanaka back was just her acting.

Re: Stella blocking contact (71,083) (71,092) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I'm going to need Mr. Reid to break down Mariah's door and find her and get her out of that house. Stella is toxic whether she is blocking his calls or not. It's so scary and bizarre I can't even believe this is possible, but with Stella and how Mariah messed up so many times under her guidance, I should probably be able to digest it and believe it. Who do you think is the close friend? Kristofer?

Re: MW episode 5: Mimi L review (71,075) (71,091) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Anthony actually isn't a diva, he actually comes across as the more professional one in the show. He has worked with Beyonce on several occasions and plays an important role in her tours too. In fact if I'm not mistaken, he left Mariah's group for 6 months in the middle to join Beyonce on the "Formation" tour, this is the time when Bryan was promoted to Creative Director but instantly banned from Caesar's by Packer (haha love that story). Anyways Anthony gets the work done, he doesn't kiss Stella's ass (everyone else does) and will fight her on behalf of his team. Like the bus incident, he did what he had to and voiced his concerns on behalf of his team, Tanaka on the other hand doesn't have a back bone and is an ass kisser. I won't lie, I find him quite cute looks wise, but he basically doesn't have a personality, whereas Anthony is handsome and has a strong personality and is goofy. Now 3 possible reasons for MC choosing Tanaka and not Burrell:
1) After being with a Mexican, an African American, white guys, and a part Italian, MC wanted to conquer the Asian market. (Diversity dahlin', diversity. Bias is bleak.) Haha.
2) Anthony has a kid and probably didn't want that foolishness.
3) Mariah needs a 24/7 kinda guy (just like Stella), who will follow her around the world like a puppy and stay with her all the time, and Anthony probably wouldn't do that because he stays booked through out, unlike Tanaka, who seems to have taken up the role of Mariah's dog Jack.
