About Bill from the UK: I love Mariah more than you do.

London Daydream Tour Attendee.

Re: I Am Free (Alternative Mix) (79,447) (79,448) by Bill from the UK
Don’t I know it. Thing is I still think and act like I’m 22. (Releases Touch My Body.)

I only know of the last line being sung live from her voicemail days when she left Sony. Would love her to perform it live with a gospel choir supporting her.

I Am Free (Alternative Mix) (79,436) by Bill from the UK
Bringing it back to the music for a second (sorry), there is a beautiful alternative version of I Am agree on YouTube. It removes the wall of backing vocals and relies on her lead vocal carrying the tune. Beautiful.

What on earth are you talking about.

Re: I'm featured in Say Somethin' (So So Def Remix) (79,261) (79,265) by Bill from the UK
I also really doubt Mariah herself was masquerading as a tween on MSN trying to get people to sing so she could steal it for her remix. I'm picturing her in a gothic castle on a hilltop, black clouds swirling around, thunder rumbling and lightning striking as she rubs her hands together in evil super villain glee whilst sat at the computer, having successfully catfished poor Ben. If she wanted a sampled vocal on her track, all she would do is put an announcement on her website and she would be inundated with people wanting the opportunity. Or, there are thousands of royalty-free vocal tracks for free use. Also, this was a Def Mix Production, so as to Mariah's personal involvement in it, other than the re-sung vocals, nobody knows. If it's that big an issue, sue her. In summary, what I'm trying to say is, who cares really.

Re: I'm featured in Say Somethin' (So So Def Remix) (79,238) (79,257) by Bill from the UK
You post this every so often but it never makes any sense. I can’t hear it on the remix and not sure what all the distortion is either (sorry if that’s your voice lol). Not many people can say they’re sampled on a Mariah song, and lots would love to be able to say that, so if it is the case try looking at it positively. It’s something to tell the grandkids one day.

Re: "Mariah Carey and manager split" (79,183) (79,209) by Bill from the UK
"Mariah returned to form." So you finally admit then, after three years of delusional posts about how Mariah never set a foot wrong, that her time under Stella's management was a complete and utter mess?

Re: Lil Snowman (79,167) (79,169) by Bill from the UK
I do agree Migrate should have been a single. Wasted opportunity that no fans ever really pick up on.

Uh-oh. You mentioned Tennessee (braces self for a post from Randy about Right To Dream).

My first thought was "Run Rudolph Run".

Re: Lil Snowman (79,138) (79,151) by Bill from the UK
I also can't stop listening to it. Like "Unforgettable" but for different reasons, this is fresh and new. She's finally stepped outside of her comfort zone and not gone for the ballad/R&B vibe.

Re: Sweetheart no rap version (79,131) (79,136) by Bill from the UK
I've always preferred this version. JD and Mariah make great music together but JD as a rapper is just plain annoying lol.

Like Snowman (79,121) by Bill from the UK
This is the best song she’s done since Make It Look Good.

Re: Joy to the World (Celebration Mix) - question (79,117) (79,119) by Bill from the UK
One of her best remixes. As far as I know it was her own melody. I play this year round. Another great remix moment is the scatting at the end of AYNAF C&C Club Mix. I was floored when I first heard her zipping around the melody in perfect pitch.

Re: New interview (79,095) (79,107) by Bill from the UK
"It's been a while since I last saw her unmedicated, drunk or doped up." Single handedly the best sentence I've read all week.

We've all been there. The gin. The lights down low. Never Too Far. I'm with you (fist bumps heart).

I love the video for My All, agree it is well deserved, but somewhat overdue. I think I'm about 5000 of those 100m views lol.

Re: Betcha gon know / MOAIA (78,872) (78,875) by Bill from the UK
I thought that about some of her album titles. Since Butterfly, Mariah's always given a reason for the title of her albums and how she arrived at them. Prior, she gave generic answers of "it sounded cool" (Music Box) to the songs all having a dream-like vibe to them (Daydream). I think they were really deeper than that. Knowing what we know now, I think Music Box was how she saw herself. Locked away, only came out to sing pretty songs, then shut back in the box. Daydream because she later said that during that period nothing seemed real to her. The marriage, the success, the adoration. She said during the photo shoot for the album cover she was asked to smile but couldn't bring herself to do it.

Re: Sad love songs (78,846) (78,856) by Bill from the UK
I never thought of it like that before. I always categorised a love song as a love song, really. Happy love songs I would say are So Blessed and... that's it. Lol.

Re: Foxwoods (78,831) (78,842) by Bill from the UK
You know what, I have to give praise when due. I've seen some clips of the Foxwoods show and I agree. Mariah was herself again. She was moving (lol, how can it be that it's come to the point that we praise her for moving? Haha), she seemed confident and she looked fantastic. The last pictures I saw of her were those awful pictures with Tanaka in the "hooker" outfit, but she looked slimmer and elegant and glowing. Her voice sounded good and she seemed to be singing more live than she usually does (again, how has it come to praising a singer for actually singing haha but I'll take what I can get). She certainly seemed in a better place. Hope this lasts. She was the star she used to be. Well done MC.
