I love to travel, dance, and eat.

Re: Licia/Mimi (76,965) (76,975) by Lila from United States

Re: Licia/Mimi (76,956) (76,964) by Lila from United States
Basically. How anyone can't see that little fact I don't know but it remains. She's got a bunch of inept and incompetent people traveling around with her 24/7, who's she's given legitimate job titles to but who were not right to fill the roles in the first place and have proven themselves as unable to bring anything to the table but their mere presence. In any other job environment, if that were true and yet the person or people were still around, everyone else would immediately call the situation for what it is: nepotism or favoritism. She's certainly not related to these dimwits. It's all about keeping bodies around so she doesn't feel 100% lonely.

Re: Licia/Mimi (76,947) (76,955) by Lila from United States
I, obviously, don't know where you got this information from but it's wrong. Credit card companies no longer let users recklessly spend and limitless spending is pretty much a thing of the past. It doesn't matter how much money you have. The American Express Centurion aka The Black Card is not limitless for anyone. JP Morgan no longer issues their Palladium card that had limitless spending for those it was issued to and replaced it with Reserve. I've read nothing about being it being limitless. Charge cards, like the Green and Gold American Express cards come with no pre-set spending but that does not equal limitless spending. It's just a great way for the company to make more efficient decisions, in its own best interest, on what the user can and cannot buy with the card. Charge cards also have to have the full balance that was incurred the previous month be paid off, in full, the next month. If you're late in paying off a previous balance, AE will not hesitate to put a hold on your card nor give you an exact spending limit immediately. If it's reoccurring, your card can be canceled. Secondly, it's quite ridiculous to list two properties that you know of that Mariah owns, and act is if that encompasses her entire financial situation when it doesn't. Money is a simple process of what's coming in versus what's going out. J. Lo and Madonna can buy 20 million dollar houses (usually after selling the previous house they owned for near the same amount of money) but Madonna has money coming out of the wazoo from touring and clothing. J. Lo is still making money through clothing brands, music, acting, and producing and in a big way. Mariah does not. Mariah has money yes but she doesn't have large amounts (by her lifestyle standard) continuously streaming in. That means she has to at some point use money that she has saved up to cover her expenses, which gets tricky when you lead the lifestyle that she leads. She has a NYC apartment that has high property taxes, a house in the Bahamas that has high property taxes, a 6-figure a month house rental in Beverly Hills, a large jet that requires upkeep and burns through a very costly amount of fuel plus the pilot, a group of incompetent staff she pays to do nothing, a group of staff that actually does have a purpose like the nanny, bodyguards, tutor, maids, etc. Payroll is a money eater. Then there's the expensive hotel suites, accommodations for staff, clothing, cars, jewelry, and anything else I don't have the time to list. Mariah has just about the same expensive lifestyle to upkeep as any well to do celebrity. Lastly, no one of Mariah's caliber, who's not experiencing a money shortage takes on things like dating apps, dog walking apps, and Soda Stream, things that do not mesh well with their image, lack major exposure, and most likely are not paying big bucks for "spending money". They'd already have spending money and would just go and enjoy their self.

I love that line too. It's something about it that pulls me in.

Re: 4th of July (76,885) (76,889) by Lila from United States
FOJ is understandable but TBO? Lol. Mariah's and Dru Hill's rendition was amazing. My trying and failing miserably to sing along with them and hit all those notes is equally amazing.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey credit card not declined while shopping (76,884) (76,888) by Lila from United States
I think this separation is probably nothing but a fluke. Stella and kids were in the Bahamas but the kids most likely also wanted to spend time in Hawaii. Who knows, they'll probably fly back to the Bahamas after a few days. Da Brat has posted videos from Exumas so I think she's down there with Mariah. I'm just celebrating that an old friend, who still has so much love for her, and doesn't depend on her monetarily for everything is with her. It's the little things we have to hold onto.

Article: Mariah Carey credit card not declined while shopping (76,879) by Lila from United States
The cast members of The House could not have been too far off on their accounts of what occurred on set. Otherwise, I don't see how Stella has the time to take out of her busy schedule of being a strong and empowered single mother of two, helping Mariah's career to reach oh so new heights of success to deny this story but not to deny the claims they made, which has received a lot more press, while this story was most likely going to receive none. I don't know if the story is true or not, though I would not be surprised if it is; however, these Gossip Cop stories are a mess. First, the person who spread those stories about For Hire being a golddigger was an "obsessed" employee and now this Radar article is worthy of alluding to the "eyewitness" being a stalker. On top of it, it makes no sense for them to use Louis Vuitton's most likely generic statement of truly not being able to confirm this story as proof that it didn't happen, when they were most likely just saying that they couldn't speak on the matter at all. Unless a company is in in a personal but public dispute with an individual, it's not exactly good business to go around blabbing the clientele's credit card acceptances and declines.

Re: Masseuse known for biting clients slams (76,761) (76,771) by Lila from United States
Yeah Mariah definitely gets a pass for that. Hell, we all do. It sounds nasty as hell and stupid as all get out. Why the hell would someone want another person, who is not their lover, to bite them? I highly doubt there's anything this woman can do with her teeth that is beneficial to the human body that fingers wouldn't suffice anyway. Some people need to get a grip.

Re: Mimi's response about Packer's whereabouts (76,725) (76,728) by Lila from United States
The tickets actually weren't free. It's just that Packer allegedly paid for 17 very expensive tickets but then handed them out like party favors to Benjamin Netanyahu's wife Sara Netanyahu and the head of an Israeli Intelligence Yosef Cohen. The tickets were just free for those two and whomever they then handed them out to in turn. I think it very likely happened. I also don't think it was a coincidence that the first time Mariah performed in Israel, she also so happened to be "dating" a man with personal and political ties to the head of state.

The press conference (76,716) by Lila from United States
What I got out of it all is that Mariah needs to stop thinking that being ignorant is cute or absolving and pick up a book or hit up google more often. Educate herself. Maybe then she'd know better than to get involved with a man whose friends with the head of state of Israel, have dinner with the head of State of Israel and his wife, get involved with a shady Israeli company that scams people and upholds the theft of Palestinian lands and making life harder for Palestinians. Then again, she also said that she's not interested in what's said about politics that do not affect her life, so even if she knew I guess she wouldn't care.

Re: Can we all celebrate the fact (76,710) (76,714) by Lila from United States
Packer can't be faulted for getting more out of their deal than Mariah did. As the saying goes: don't hate the player, hate the game. Mariah should've stepped her skills up. She also didn't make both of them look worse on Mariah's World. She just made herself look worse, something she's an expert on these days.

Re: Mariah Carey doesn't want to be interviewed - 2017 (76,636) (76,645) by Lila from United States
Now that you mention it, I'm surprised we haven't gotten that type of interview by now. With Mariah holding the Guiness Book of World Records record for "most stories denied by a rep that the general public hadn't even heard of before it was denied", you'd think they want to commemorate the achievement in a really big way.

Re: Out and about in Paris (76,629) (76,630) by Lila from United States
Bless his heart for it lol. I don't want to get my hopes up but it would be nice if this were an indication that Mariah is returning to some decent clothing. I know she's never been a fashionista but, for her, 2008 to 2013 was good in my book (especially 2009 onwards). There were a lot of good moments, there was cleavage but it wasn't overboard and purposely baring nipples, and she came off as happy and confident. If it doesn't then at least I have Paris.

Re: So much shade, but no substance (76,564) (76,567) by Lila from United States
Not to mention, someone like Will Ferrell gains zero by lying about Mariah's actions on this movie set. Contrary to the belief of a few delusionals, gossip and lies about Mariah are not bringing this movie any crazy extra attention nor will it be raking in crazy extra money earned from those who are attracted to the movie that "Mariah Carey acted a fool during the filming of and subsequently got cut from". He was even nice about the whole thing, no disdain or maliciousness.

Re: Mark Suddack (76,501) (76,510) by Lila from United States
From what I've read, he worked on E=MC2 so it's not particularly surprising or interesting that he was still around at that point. On a personal level they were broken up and had been for a while. Mariah married Nick at the end of April but they had been seeing one another for a month to a month and a half before they married. So, Mark may have been in the picture technically but not as anything meaningful.

Re: Being controlled by a sociopath? (76,496) (76,502) by Lila from United States
Personally, I think not. Stella's an uncouth idiot that thinks being rude will get her what she wants (like that guy she cursed out over at DCP because they wouldn't pull the footage from the west coast) and she also goes a long with the stupid crap that Mariah wants done and throws out some dumb ideas her own self, I'm sure but that's about it. She doesn't strike me as the Rasputin type nor does she strike me as smart enough or charismatic enough to pull something like that off. In my eyes she's just another dumbass and right now that's what Mariah wants to be surrounded with. They really just remind me of two children who've been left to steer a car.

Re: New ad campaign (76,480) (76,493) by Lila from United States
The brand isn't unfamiliar to me and I say that this is not the move Mariah should make. I knew the name sounded familiar to me and sure enough after I googled I had a "mhmm" moment. It's been years ago now that I saw this brand being pedaled at two kiosks in my local mall, being serviced by like four Israeli men and one woman. They are very dominant and very aggressive. I also checked out some of the comments on the company and had another "mhmm" moment when I read a comment by a woman that said exactly what I experienced about the people and products, starting with the fact that the products are not marked with prices but one of the persons running it would bring up the prices on a computer screen, and all the prices are sky high. When I tell you, your jaws will drop, they will not hit the floor but go through to the basement level. Then when you and everyone else walking the mall can't afford the prices, they'll start dropping them like bricks because they "like you so much" lol. The company is a damn rip off. Not only is nothing in these products worth the price but there is no luxury skincare company worth its salt, pedaling expensive skin care products in kiosks. They are also not dropping the prices on sight just because they like you so much. That only happens for special sales around holidays and when they're trying to get rid of stock. A lot of their stuff also sells, on Amazon, for half of what they retail it for in person and on their website. I also found this article. I don't know if these people got kicked out of my mall or just left but I wouldn't be surprised if they got kicked out. That was the last time I saw them in that mall or any other and my state is small so they couldn't have gone too far if they were still here. Mariah needs to stay out of these sketchy countries and away from the companies and people associated with them.

Mariah just doesn't want it for herself right now.

Re: Mark Suddack (76,486) (76,488) by Lila from United States
It had nothing to do with lack of commitment. They had a poor relationship and would argue a lot. Mariah was not happy. Hence why they broke up and she moved on.

Re: Lionel new Idol judge (76,425) (76,426) by Lila from United States
I thought the tour was a good idea when first announced but with everything that has transpired since then, it's, as you said, so blah. I'm over here like: "What's the point of this again? They're still planning on doing this tour together? Wow." I'm over it. I also have zero faith that it will go off without a hitch or rather I have zero faith that Mariah's portion will go off without a hitch.

Re: Mariah has got to stop (76,399) (76,403) by Lila from United States
The Austria footage is just plain bad but Mariah's straining is not your or any other fan's fault regardless of your not wanting her to lip sing because Mariah still does her share of lipping.

Shipping date (76,348) by Lila from United States
I'm ignoring the shipping date issue but if others want to express their disappointment then I don't see anything wrong with it. It's not as if they're complaining for nothing. They were excited at the possibility of wearing their gear at their respective pride events and have had the wind taken out of their sails with seeing the shipping date. We've all been there before: excited about something, it didn't turn out as expected, and we were left disappointed. I'm also pretty sure that, in those moments, we didn't want someone minimizing our feelings. It's great that others will be able to wear their gear in July and August but that in no way erases those who are going to miss out nor their feelings.

Re: Mariah Pride (76,332) (76,334) by Lila from United States
I was taken a back by the shipping date too. Pride is over by then, at least where I live. Still, it's cute and not the tacky hot mess that is so easy for them to defer to so I guess I'll just focus on that part.
