The glitter bodysuit (63,164) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter This outfit is the second worst (after the fur robe). It looks incomplete, weird and uninspired. What is even happening in the lower region of the dress? Plus I said this before but I just can't with how uninspired the bead detailing is. Bring back the SSFT original bodysuit. It was unnecessary and if they had to make her wear it, it should have been with a bodysuit not a gown. Plus they should have limited the fur to the first picture we saw of it, where there was just a little fur lining, the whole thing wasn't covered. As for the red dress, I see it's getting a lot of hate haha but I think she looked stunning in it. I actually prefer this (for a show) than the other red we saw. (Wednesday 8 June 2016; 21:18)

I need a clearer picture of the white TMB dress. I think it's a cute one. Higher quality pictures may change my mind though so waiting on them. As for her voice and confidence, Mariah is on fire. Ensemble Debut (63,145) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Look 1 and 2. The second picture is giving me serious Grammys 2006 performance tease. This is the final product of the dress we saw previously being made. New bodysuit for "Honey". This is the outfit she wore for "My All". I think she looked great. Red really is Mariah's color. Hood-riah moment haha. This was for TMB I guess. Love this new dress as well. Stunning. This is a short clip from her performing "My All" in the red dress. She looks great, and sounds great and she is clearly feeling confident. I'll keep an eye out for better quality shots of the outfits. (Wednesday 8 June 2016; 13:38)

Every other Carpool Karaoke I've seen, they just let lose and sing their hearts out. Even the ones who are not great singers. They just have a great time. Sing along, be crazy. As much as I love Mariah, I wish she didn't continuously use the "I didn't sleep last night, I'm not going to sing today" excuse. Girl can out-sing most of today's top artists on her worst day, but she's just too conscious sometimes. James Corden actually sang way more than Mariah there. But yes, I'm happy to hear that Corden said that a lot of people rejected his offer before Mariah signed on. That's when it got big. So yet another trend-setting moment from our Mimi. I was talking about how I want her to go back and do it again and this time just belts out. (Tuesday 7 June 2016; 19:08)

The red dress looks good, I am waiting to see what other outfits she includes and whether she will actually make changes to the set list like she promised. By the way, which UKMix thread did you see the dress in? The main thread has been closed for months, and although I am not a member, I used to actively check it. As for the feather/ruffles robe situation, it is giving me the billionaire's wife vibes. Haha you know how in TV shows and movies the rich trophy wives wear these elaborate robes over their negligees and walk down the spiral staircase (with the train of the robe trailing behind) or lounging on a chaise lounge. TMZ Mariah (63,036) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So TMZ posted this video on their channel and Harvey is going on and on about how he loves Mariah now. Previously he used to say bad stuff about her. But the thing is Mariah shows just one bit of her real side where people can relate to her and people immediately start praising her and feel like they can relate to her. This is what I keep saying that if Mariah would tone down the diva act and instead show the more real, intelligent and hilarious Mariah, people would fall back in love with her. Defensive fans, no need to get worked up, I said her "real" side because I still believe that buried deep beneath all the diva acts and the expensive gowns she wears to swim (haha joke) there still is the real, down to earth, intelligent and funny Mariah that people can relate to. So I am not telling her to be fake. I'm just show people the real Mariah and they won't be able to help but love her. (Sunday 5 June 2016; 6:44)

I said there was a rumor and if we take the rumor to be true, can or should Mariah be blamed for it? And I answered myself that "no" because she probably didn't know about it or even if she did, she couldn't do anything because she had to do what the suits told her to do. I am surprised people are getting so defensive about how Brenda wasn't talented enough. Chill, I don't even know any of Brenda's material, neither do I care about her career. Re: Brenda - JLo (63,012) (63,013) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Yea, they managed to have a good relationship because Brenda didn't start blaming Mariah for her downfall in the beginning. I think she hinted towards it later on in life. Secondly one can't expect Jennifer to issue a public apology like someone else wrote a while back (not you) because why would she ruin her reputation? Would I want her to maybe reach out to Mariah in private and say that she is sorry for what happened and would love to get to know her? For sure. That would be great. Mariah can also be the bigger person and do that. They have a lot in common. Both are of the same age, both are in the music industry, both have twins and are divorced single mothers. Anyways as for applying this to our own lives and having to forgive and forget someone who has betrayed us/done us wrong and be polite about them. I think a lot of people can claim to have done that, including me. This happens in work places all the time, within families and friends too. Also, I would like to add that I can't blame Mariah for initially being pissed at JLo and saying those things. She was young, she was in a bad state in her life trying to get back on her feet and she was on her own trying to get her brand back whereas previously her career was closely calculated for her by her team. Not to mention a lot of people abandoned her for Tommy. So ya. But it is over 15 years now, she is a changed person. This can be put to rest. There is really no excuse for the current shades. I fact Mariah came out the winner. She got her TEOM. Ever since then JLo kind of slowly fizzled out. (Saturday 4 June 2016; 13:41)

Brenda - JLo (63,003) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Wasn't it rumored that Brenda K Starr was dropped by Sony so that they could afford Mariah's budget? So Brenda gave Mariah's demo to Tommy and got herself dropped. (Not saying that Mariah wouldn't have made it without Sony.) So are we going to blame Mariah for sabotaging Brenda's career? No. Because she was new, she probably didn't know and if she did, she really didn't have a say and she had to go along with what the suits told her. Same with Jennifer. The people saying she shouldn't have taken the sample, well first of all, she never writes her own stuff so I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't even know what sampling is. Then secondly she had her own career to build. If any of you were given the option of making your own career and be a huge star at the expense of another artist, would you be sitting around thinking what's wrong or right especially after you hustled half your life for this moment?
