Mariah Carey expressed her gratitude to Filipinos during her 2018 Manila concert. The diva singer told the crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last night, October 26: "Let's see if I pronounce this correctly: 'Salamat'."

For almost two hours last night, Mariah entertained her Pinoy fans by performing a mix of her old songs and new compositions from her album titled Caution. Mariah kicked off her Philippine concert by performing Honey, Shake It Off, Make It Happen, Fantasy, and Always Be My Baby. Mariah reminisced by telling the audience, "We want to take you back to my very first album. It's called Vision of Love."

Among the celebrities spotted that night were Jericho Rosales and his wife Kim Jones. Although Jericho and Kim had assigned seats, they opted to stand throughout the concert. During their concert date, Jericho and Kim danced along to the music and took selfies as they enjoyed listening to the diva singer.
Mariah is considered the best-selling female artist of all time with more than 200 million albums sold to date. She also has 18 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles, more than any solo artist in history. Seventeen of those chart-toppers were self-penned.
