These shoes were made for walking. On the Thursday, October 31, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Mariah Carey recalled a footwear mishap during a recent trip to the Great Wall of China. "I couldn't really walk that far," the singer, 55, told host Drew Barrymore.
"And why couldn't you walk that far?" Barrymore, 49, asked. "Nobody knows this but I'll tell you," Carey replied. "So, I had on high heels that you like, slide in. Because just in case, you know, someone took a picture of me, I want the outfit to look... you know?"
The host then reached behind the couch to retrieve a package for the Grammy winner. "I have a possible solution for next time," she said as she presented Carey with a white gift box. "These are sold out everywhere. You cannot get them, but we managed to get one pair."

"These are the new Sneex," Barrymore continued as she revealed a pair of white sneakers with a stiletto heel. "These are so cute," Carey gushed, adding, "I love these! Thank you, thank you, thank you."
The host went on to explain that the shoes are made by the "woman who invented Spanx", Sara Blakely. Sneex launched in August and since then, multiple styles have sold out. However, the Tepper style, which Barrymore gifted to Carey, is currently available in white as well as other colors.
