I was referring to the girl who was supposed to be the opening act for one of her shows this year. She went straight to media and was telling everyone Mariah didn't want her because she was a female. Nathaniel was the official opening act and the organizers were going to have her open for him then called her the day of to demote her from the stage. They claimed Mariah didn't want her for being a female which was a sleazy scapegoat. The girl thinks her idol rejected her. This was the same show where Mariah had to cut down her own show by removing her medley due to "time restraints". LC, I completely agree with you. I seriously doubt that's the reason her appearance fell through. I heard a rumor that she was going to go on Wendy, but cancelled when a more popular show requested her presence. You know if Wendy did anything that made MC change her mind, she would never tell us anyway. She doesn't display herself in a bad light, just everyone else. In any case, Wendy was the one that wanted MC on and not the other way around. If Mariah agreed to come on after a decade of "no" and said I'll do it if you let me sit in your chair, but Wendy rejected that than she should stop complaining that MC won't visit her. If you've been a lamb for even a few years, or if you do a simple Google search, you'll see that Mariah is always photographed from her right side. You know how I know? It's the side without the beauty mark. Duh. So, obviously that was a lie. And continuing on that, why would Mariah make Wendy, the host, switch if the host always sits on the left, and Mariah, the guest, always sits on the right? Wendy Williams rejected MC's bid to come on her show last year (47,991) by ADAM from USA Wendy revealed today on Hot Topics today that Mariah wanted to come on her show last year and the deal fell threw because Mariah requested to be filmed on her left side (like WWHL with Andy Cohen) and have Wendy switch seats with her as a result. Wendy said that wasn't happening and that it was her show and that it was just weird. I totally agree with Wendy's stance and support her decision to not oblige to a a silly request. When Mariah came on WWHL the whole vibe was weird and off seeing Andy in a reversed position with Mariah. She looked so foolish checking the monitors and her hair throughout the show. I think more shows should follow her lead and not cater to these foolish demands. It's a TV show. Go on and have fun and enjoy the Q&A with the hosts and fans. I really thought WWHL would have been much more fun if she wasn't so insecure with her behavior and shadiness. Mariah has earned the right to decide when and when not to be asked questions about other female artists. Notice I don't use the word singer as that term is used as loosely as diva these days. It's not Mariah's problem if other female artists wants to talk about her indiscriminately. Mariah's team has seen Andy's show, as she herself has, I'm sure. WWHL is a complete and total messfest if any of you don't know. MC kept it classy as always but still delivered with her classic Eminem shade. Lol. That moment has been gifed and hung up on the Shade Hall of Fame just like "I don't know her". What more do people want? I know there were rumors that they dated and he was going to publish a book and talk about his time with Mariah. She actually filed some kind of cease and desist. Re: G.G. / Andy Cohen (47,984) by nikki from usa I read that article a few times, because these days writers are really scrapping to make stories by making mountains out of mole hills and stretching the truth. The only part of the article where MC was actually mentioned was the tardiness and lighting requirement. I don't know that these are "demands". She asked for his chair, she didn't threaten to walk out for not getting her way. She doesn't want to look like the Crypt Creeper, I'd say that's practical. When they talk about the "do not mention" list, they never specifically referenced Mariah. They began talking about her in the next paragraph. If it is her, I can see why. J.Lo has been talking about MC a lot and it looks like a ploy to bring up more beef or start a new one. It makes sense that MC would try to avoid it. She went the extra length to say "no females" instead of singling one out in particular. It may look bad, but I think it's important to keep the focus on her music instead of "rivals". Think about it. Over the years J.Lo, Nicki, and this Aussie girl are all giving Mariah a good reason to skip on the ladies. All these girls are interested in is cat fighting and getting their names out at MC's expense. This is probably why MC prefers the guys. (Thursday 20 November 2014; 19:43)

The last two albums have been a let down. Rhianna is coming out soon and I pray she does not pass Mariah's record because that will be a travesty. Confused (47,980) by Jon from Netherlands I love this interview. Mariah's singing and speaking voice are equally mesmerizing. In this interview we have the real Mariah: goofy, divalish, melodramatic and most of all hilarious. She has the people in the studio cracking up. The moments about Nick have me confused. Thirsty was already done and part of the album but she still says "I love you Nick" and means it. There are a lot of hints that things could be wrong in the marriage but it actually feels like just two adult persons that have their disagreements but still love each other. What to make of all of this? How could she be putting a song like Thirsty out there? Did they have a pact? You talk about our sex life and private things and I'll write songs that humiliate you. What about the fact that she says "Nick creates the rumours"? Could Mariah be smiling to pretend things were still ok and it was worth to give it another try or was she lying to herself and not accepting it was almost over? Was this just public bickering? It just doesn't make sense to me because it really feels like she believes in the marriage but then she says (partially as a joke) "he should have married someone else", "I hope Nick is listening", "I would prefer to have some decorum", "Nick is with the dembabies while they are fun then back to the crib", "he's not even gonna be home", and has a song like Betcha Gon Know remix in the album (clearly included because of Nick). Mariah's strength (47,977) by Jon from Netherlands Hey there lambily. My first time posting on the board. I was watching a documentary about Whitney and I realised more than ever how strong psychologically Mariah is. Looking at MJ, at WH and so many artists and then looking at Mariah you just realise this woman is incredible. She has never done drugs, she always recovered from very difficult situations and even now with the tour she could have gone the WH way and make a mess out of it but she recovered so beautifully. This is probably one of the most difficult times of her life and she is fighting back. She could have been completely lost after Motolla or after Glitter but she didn't. The most amazing part is that she does it on her own. There is really no one there to direct her behaviour. A lot of people don't like her but I say kudos to Mariah for being herself. I know she is far from perfect and she is getting more and more insecure as she ages but at least she is real and she is putting herself out there instead of a fabricated public image. Heavenly (Can't give up/No ways tired) (47,975) by Terna from Nigeria This song is so uplifting and healing. Everytime I listen to it, there's this calm and reassurance I experience. Also her voice on this track is on another level entirely (those high falsettos and whistles cut like steel), I haven't heard her sing with such raw emotion and power since "Fly Like a Bird". I remember watching "House of Payne" a while back and there was this episode where the character Cassie Davis plays sang this song when her son Calvin got shot and was battling for his life in a coma, I was very touched by that episode and came to realize then that it's a faith song first and foremost and then a Victor's song too. So immediately I saw it on the tracklistings as the album closer, my heart smiled. I am glad Mariah covered this song and interpreted it in such a powerful way, I do want Mariah to go full-on gospel. You're Mine (47,974) by Brad Catoe from United States This is actually one of my favorite songs. Haha I was so in love with it. I was actually really disappointed that she isnt performing it. That's the one thing I really liked about the Angels Advocate show, she did a lot of songs from the album. I wish she was doing more MIAM songs. Either way though You're Mine is amazing. Abraham (47,973) by B from USA I have to disagree with you. You're Mine (Eternal) is one of my favorite songs on MIAMTEC. It doesn't sound like We Belong Together or Don't Forget About Us. It was produced by Rodney Darkchild Jerkins. The lyrics are romantic poetry and the beat is "ratchet" which is current. If she had worked with JD and Cox on You're Mine (Eternal) then it would sound like a rehash of We Belong Together. Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse is one of Mariah's best albums. I also love Money featuring Fabulous. The Mike Will Made It beat and Mariah's silly catchy chorus(hook) is an earworm. The only songs that I dislike (skip) are One More Try and Heavenly (No Ways Tired/Can't Give Up Now). However, I do enjoy Mariah's vocals on Heavenly. With only one album going platinum this year, Mariah selling over a 100,000 copies with no promotion isn't and shouldn't be considered a flop. I hope she re releases MIAMTEC with new song and a DVD with clips from her tour like she did for the rerelease of The Emancipation of Mimi. Or she releases a new album to mark her twenty-five years in the industry. She's an Icon and she's still a force to be reckoned with. Next year marks my twentieth year as a Lamb.
