Good tunes, great album (44,151) by May from Denmark We are all sharing our take on the album so here goes mine. I give it 3. 5 stars out of 5: here are my reasons. It's very obvious the production took a lot of care in the making except for BGK. The editing was very poor, like a "cut-copy-paste" type of effect. It'd have been nice to have a back and forth from Mariah with the featured artist, like a conversation, to make the song more interesting. "It's a wrap" was poor as well, I was hoping for a duet almost like Whitney-Mariah. I was hoping for something innovative but the songs are like throwbacks. Two songs reminded me to melodies I've heard in the 80s, "Cry." is one of those but is beautiful still. It's like Mariah can't move forward because die-hard fans always want "oldies come back" and it feels like she stays resting in her comfort zone and got used to that. Meteorite is a great club tune, it definitely describes artists of today. Supernatural is cute, bit creepy first listening with the children giggles (too many 80s horror movies here haha, those were the days) the ending was adorable to the max. Yet another song that has the "old vibes". As an atheist I don't feel identified with Heavenly but I think is awesome how she brought back all that soul. The rest of the songs are nice, I only disliked one and thar is "Money", very "Glitter". I purchased some songs but not the album, as a whole I don't see myself listening to it all the time. The deluxe version is disappointing. Strong work set. Won't disappoint old fans. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 14:31)

Chart position / Walter A (44,150) by Licia from USA I for one don't give a care how she does on the charts. I never have and I never will. If she's number one cool. If not that's still cool. She has a solid album. None of us know how she will do, but it won't hurt to wish for the best even if you don't like the album. Also can we get over Walter A? She does not want to work with him. She's made that perfectly clear. If you are still wanting and waiting for that to happen then you will forever be unhappy with any music she releases from now until she quits. I really love Faded, One More Try and Meteorite (44,149) by Jamie from UK It took a few listens before I fell in love with the beautiful Faded; modern R&B gold. The climax especially blows me away every time, very reminiscent of her vocals in TEOM era. Collectively the album almost sounds like a merge of TEOM and Music Box. I can tell I'm enjoying it more than I did E=MC2 and Memoirs when they first came out, so 8.5/10 from me. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 13:43)

Deluxe (44,147) by Darryle from USA I bought the deluxe edition and I'm not exactly pleased. TAOLG is my favorite Mariah song so I like that and The Wrap is good. It feels like it should be on the album. I like the talking as an intro, and even though it's not resung it sounds good. BGK is not worthy of being on the album. I would have rather seen Save The Day instead. While R. Kelly is an amazing singer he doesn't fit well with this song. His lyrics are ok but the echos on his voice and the way they cut out the I'm a la la la la la laugh part and lazily edited his part in sorta ruins the song. The album at this point is already over an hour long so why not just add a thirrd verse and do a chorus. I'm really disappointed you get together 3 of the best R&B artists and you get mediocre results. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 12:35)

Orkun (44,146) by juan from Dubai Orkun's comments are really at the very low end of negativity. You shut the door like big time. We wish this album all the best and as loyal lambs, we wish any of the bangers "Thristy", "Fade", "YDKWTD", "Meteorite" to reach #1. Or maybe 3 of them. Mariah can and this album can. Orkun (44,145) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Please don't ruin the moment for people who actually loved and appreciate the album. It's your opinion and you are entitled to it but I seriously don't understand what you hate so much about the album. I think it caters to the diverse tastes of her fans. There's something for everyone. I can understand if you hate some songs, but the whole album? Seriously? The critics and most importantly majority of her fans have loved the album and place it in their top 5, even going as far as comparing it to Butterfly and Music Box. Anyways so did you predict Bangerz will be a number 1 album? I'd say Mariah has a really good chance provided she goes on a promotion overload. Sadly nowadays only good music doesn't cut it, it has to be backed up by strong promotion. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 12:29)

Cursing (44,144) by Darryle from USA I bought the explicit version of the album and I'm fine with it because cursing doesn't bother me but I'm a little confused on what Mariah or iTunes considers explicit. On dedicated she says sh*t so it should be explicit but on Thirsty all she says is a** and damn. She also shss sh*t on this song. Why put an explicit sign if there aren't any curse words and why shh on this track but not dedicated. Lastly on It's A Wrap she says sh*t aswell. If she's going to say a curse word that is considered explicit she or iTunes should put an explicit sign by it. Other than these songs I am cool with the cursing. Although what made her start doing it because mostly she blocks the words or doesn't use them? Maybe she wanted to be more free in her lyrics so she started cursing. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 12:27)

Sam Smith (44,143) by Shezz from Pk So it seems like Sam Smith is the competition right now, not Coldplay. Though MC has several versions of the album, adding them all up could place her higher. JD is on twitter telling lambs to get their friends to buy it on iTunes but I think more traditional promo would help much more. Lets hope they know what theyre doing. TEOM was an extremely commercial album which helped keep it on the charts forever. MIAM is not as commercial, more of an oldschool music lover's album. Fingers crossed, lets wait until tomorrow for the first day reports. And hope for the best. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 12:19)

We know you don't like the album, you already made that clear in a earlier post. So seeing you write so negative is kind off to be expected and for me not to take all to serious. Charts (44,141) by Orkun from The Netherlands I don't trust the reviewers. Most of them are paid for. I do trust my own musical taste and ear. I expect a top 5 album entry and drop significantly after that. Proof? A lot of fans are saying that we accept her voice has changed and we should make peace with it, and even forget W. Affanesieff because that's in the past. Critics say, before every new Mariah album, that it's the kind of album she would make in the 90's. So it makes no sense. I do love Walter's songs. Mariah's ego is killing her. We will know in 2 weeks from now. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel very strongly about it that my ears are musical enough to predict this. I'm just an honest, non-paid fan. US first week sales (44,140) by Shezz from Pk So all eyes are now gonna be on Billboard projections. I hope she gets a number1 album with MIAM that she deserves. She has major competition from Coldplay's second week. They sold close to 400k first week. Second week would see them drop to the 200k range which would still be difficult for Mimi considering how much Memoirs sold during better album sales time and with a hit lead single. I wanna believe that the added hype this time will push her sales a bit but I'm not sure and don't wanna get my hopes up. Additional promo will certainly help, she better get back from Monte Carlo asap. Where are the typical tv show appearances like Ellen? I don't understand. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 8:50)

Clean version (44,139) by Stacey from USA Oh who cares if there are clean versions of the song. I swear, to call wanting cuss words edited out censorship is a bit of a stretch, IMO. Honestly, folks who cuss don't lend their arguments any credibility. Doesn't make me listen to you more if you say f-this and f-that to me. Forgive me, I'm writing this late at night, probably when I should be in bed, lol. Still though, if someone wants a clean version, sobeit. I don't cuss in my everyday life. Sure, a word pops out here and there, but I honestly can't remember if ever I've let the f-word slip. It's just not me and IMO ruins a song like #Beautiful. Why she put that word in there is beyond me. Anyway, I am excited to finally buy the clean version, haha, of the album tomorrow. Peace. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 8:49)

The new album (44,138) by Todd from Melbourne, Australia I, like everyone else, am loving it. I have to say my favourites are Dedicated, Camouflage and One More Try. I skip Meteorite for some reason. It's a bit too Madonna-esque. And, I don't know about anyone else but I am falling more in love with The Art Of Letting Go everytime I hear it. It's quickly becoming one of my all time favourite MC songs. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 8:42)

Promo set so far (44,137) by nikki from usa After she stars at the World Music Awards today, Mariah is set to be honored by the Fresh Air Fund for the 20th anniversary of Camp Mariah on the 29th. I don't know if that's televised or not. Then, her NBC special, "Me. I Am Mariah" airs on May 31 at 8 p. m. That's all I got so far. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 8:08)

Positively blown away by MIAMEC (44,135) by Alex from Mexico I really think this is a great collection of music. There are so many great performances by Mariah and the music is so ecclectic and nice to listen to. She will definetely be #1 all over the world including Mexico and I will help every way I can. I was completely surprised by the great Mariah's vocals in Meteorite, Supernatural, YDKWTD, YME, TAOLG, Cry. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 7:26)

iTunes USA (44,134) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Wow Chanteuse is number 4 on the US iTunes charts (it was number 3 just a while back). US lambs please do your part and take it to number 1. I am hoping for a #1 debut, but in case that's not possible, our girl at least deserves this album to eventually top the charts. Lee / Supernatural and creepy voices (44,133) by Edward from USA Lee, if you think that dem babies' voices sound creepy, you haven't really heard creepy baby voices, go to YouTube and you'll hear. I went and revisited the track looking for any indication of creepiness on it, and I didn't find anything remotely creepy, annoying at times, but not creepy. Even when I tried to imagine that it was being played at a funeral placing myself in the mood that you probably were when you were listening to it. Nothing in the lyrics, the tone, the melody conveys sadness, but joy. I don't personally like all the giggling on the track, because it takes away from the actual singing, but dem babies sound just like happy babies. And when Roe says she's a chanteuse, it is to die for. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 2:46)

Anthony Basco / Elena / Alexis / Bill / B (44,132) by Tarraga from New York City Anthony, Elena and B, I absolutely love E=MC2 too. I don't think that it is filler/light album like some people has said here but I respect everyone's opinion. Actually Anthony we have a very similar top 5. Mine stands as: 1. Charmbracelet 2. Me, I am Mariah 3. Emotions 4. Butterfly 5. E=MC2. I, like you, was blown away by MIAMTEC. Every single song is a masterpiece. I also cried after I listened to Cry. Best opening ever for an album. I also believe that TAOLG is one of the best songs Mariah has ever done. I feel a very special/personal connection whenever I listen to it. Alexis, I also think that Cry could be about her miscarriage. Bill, the same happened to me with Triumphant. I actually love it now. I have added to my MIAMTEC album Triumphant and Almost Home and the album couldn't be more perfect. (Tuesday 27 May 2014; 0:54)

Mariah got me again (44,131) by Licia from USA The other night while I was at work I finally got to sit and listen to the album. I mean really listen to the words. I got to Heavenly and I was a mess. I boo hooed so bad. My coworkers thought I was crazy. I have been a fan since VOL and throughout her career there have only been two other songs that make me cry when I listen and that's FLAB and MSG. Her other songs were sad, but I couldn't relate to them ever. Anyway I just wanted to share my moment of being turned into a blubbering fool by this woman. Do any of you have those moments? Mariah's journey is not about break up (44,130) by Gilles from Malta It is a journey as Mariah said. So, for me she explained all the emotions that she went through in her sentimental life ex boyfriends till achievement Marriage and Twins. If think it would make sens for all the people who has been in that type of achievement. ex-relationship, marriage, children. Stop thinking about her private life, do not get that far and do not interfere because you will never know or you will encourage media to spread freaky stuff. (Monday 26 May 2014; 23:04)

Clean versions (44,129) by Twisterman from Brazil I also think that a song can be very well produced and have a deep lyric, however, if the song has some words that are not nice (for some), and have the option to get a clean version there is nothing wrong. For example, if there is a version of YDKWTD without Wale in intro, many lambs will like this, but does not mean that we no longer hear the album version bcause he blew the begin. Opinions (44,128) by Anthony Basco from Cardiff, Wales All are fair enough and all are valid. However, just for a different view, I love Supernatural and I almost cried the second and third times I heard it because I could really feel the love MC has for those kids and the love they have for her. Am I the only one who thinks One More Try is about the miscarriage? (44,127) by Alexis from USA The heartbeat at the end (given that they learned the pregnancy was unsuccessful via ultrasound), the "I don't want to learn to ... think that you're mine" being about how scary a new pregnancy is after a miscarriage.
