He hasn't been in touch with Mariah in over a decade, he has no clue about her personal life anymore. Plus he probably exaggerated a lot of crap. Mariah is a private person, being private doesn't mean she is isolating herself. Plus can one really blame her if she really was isolating herself when she is constantly being sold out to the media by people she once called friends or trusted? Damizza got to know Mariah during a time frame when she was going through a big life change and her career slump during the Glitter era. So I wouldn't be surprised if Mariah really wasn't in socializing mode at that time. However now she is a mother, she is in a good place and her career is still relevant. I am sure she has her life figured out unlike a middle aged man who is irrelevant, immature and sleazy enough to sell out an old friend. Anyways, like I said, he doesn't know about her personal life in over a decade. A lot changes in just a few months and so there is no doubt MC's life has changed a lot in all these years. To be honest, I actually think it might be some "truth" in his story. I have felt for a long time that she is isolating herself. And I understand why or how that would happen. With her fame and all it can happen very easily. But it's a serious thing, it can't be good for her. I know from when I became isolated (due to lost of a main family member) I felt terrible. People are for the most time social people. And there are of course moments when it's nice to be alone. But too much isolation is never a good thing. Maybe this is why I sometimes feel that Mariah feels unreachable. She lives in this bubble that is very unrealistic and unhealthy. I am feeling sad. (Monday 25 May 2015; 11:29)

"It's Like That" live / arrangements (53,757) by Billy from Greece Wow. Did you see the video from the show on the 24th where she sings impromptu some bits of "It's Like That"? It's beautiful. Even with the on-the-spot different arrangement, and thinking also about the fantastic stripped down versions of TGIFY, you just have to wonder about the marvels that MC could bring live if she teased her songs a little bit more. In this video, ITL has a more loungy sound, but it sounds oh so good. That's all she needs. Over the weekend I was watching some interview footage of artists paying tribute to her, and up pops our Mariah talking about how the loss was felt around the world, and that her legacy lives on right now. Here is what I think. Mariah attracts boys, like a picture of her on their bedroom wall. We can call her a diva but she has been called diva since day one. Men don't care about diva as much as they care about their woman's status and how sexy she is, aka Nick Cannon. These men(boys) come across to me as wanting a sugar momma and a friend with benefits. I am not just talking sex people. These men she attracts have boyish attitudes about them. When she figures their act out they get scared and start becoming yes men because they love their upgraded status so much. When she loses her sex appeal these idiots walk away and treat her like crap on the wall. It's like they get with Mariah to upgrade their boy status to a man because they're dating a woman and then leave her when their lifestyles upgrade. Damizza/ Thank God I Found You (53,738) by Bill from the UK I've said it before, so I will say it again. Whilst everybody in the world was (and some still are) convinced Thirsty is about Nick, I always thought it was about Damizza. He changed his name, he was forever @-ing her on IG and Twitter, and uploading old pictures of the pair of them and doing interviews name dropping her all the time to try and reignite his career. He even thought so himself lol. I don't know what sort of relationship they had or how deep they got into things, but I always found it odd that Pure Imagination never made it onto The Remixes album. After knowing of their fall out, it then made perfect sense why she wouldn't want to highlight their work together or indeed give him any royalties lol. It's a real shame because all their collaborations were top shelf. LC, thank you for posting that TGIFY performance. I agree it is a great rendition, and I actually think this and the tracks from the debut have been the best performed songs during the residency. I'm glad she changed the song up and gave a whole new take on it. It kind of makes me wish she'd do a whole album of her songs re-imagined in this kind of free, jazzy, spontaneous manner. Love it. Quite honestly, would anyone be paying attention or want to listen to anything that he has to say if Mariah's name wasn't attached to it? Anyways, Damizza can go to hell, I don't care. What I find interesting in the article is Michael Jackson kept coming and talking to Mariah between performances. How amazing would it have been if they actually dated. They'd be the music power couple. The King of Pop and the Queen of Billboard. Come on. Plus them collaborating on a song, I could just die. Every time she appears on TV, the song and the album starts climbing the charts so it definitely has potential. I do want her to get some family time, but just saying, that she'll be free for a month so maybe she can squeeze in some promotions. And Mariah get that damn video out already.
