How's my body (50,367) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter When did this interview take place? She was in a blow up swimming pool for a video? Can anyone remind me which video that was? Or is it a new video because I can't remember any of her videos with that setting. Anyways, about the lateness of Mariah, I once spend hours on Mariah Daily Journal and went through their archives of magazines Mariah was featured in (they have the whole list) and I was reading the interviews and to me it seemed like almost every (with all caps) interview started with the interviewer talking about how the interview was scheduled to take place at one time but he/she ended up waiting for hours (never less than atleast 6 hours). There were some which said the interview was scheduled to be in the evening but it ended up happening in the wee hours of the morning of the next day. I came across this in her interviews so many times I almost thought MC or her team probably had the interviewer lie and say she made them wait for so long in order to sell her diva image. I know it sounds stupid but I did. I mean how can all the interviews start with "I had to wait for 10 hours and I was getting pissed but then in walks MC and the sight of her makes all the waiting completely worth it". This Ultimo person was the only one who said they were pissed and left pissed with MC. The others always mention how they found MC worth the wait the moment her presence graced the room. Mariah's look, her attitude in some videos, working with new team (50,364) by MC1989 from Spain Though I believe this booty stuff is bullshit, I would like to say that Mariah doesn't need any surgery nor botox. She's not a porn star and she's not a model. She won't become Nicki Minaj or any of those girls selling flesh in their videos in a sexist way. She has done something similar (sexist) in the past ("Heartbreaker Remix" video washing the car with Snoop Dogg in it or the "Loverboy" video) and fortunately she didn't go further. She started doing better videos like "Through the rain", and I'm glad that she's famous for her voice and her songs. She doesn't need to exploit her phisical anymore. In fact, she should start doing better videos telling stories, dancing some steps or whatever, rather than the "I'm so sexy" kinda video. She doesn't need to compete with today's trendy stars. She's the voice of a generation. She's pretty and talented. I totally share Ardis' opinion about accepting ourselves and working hard if you want to tone up your body (instead of photoshop abuse in some album covers). The same as with the voice, Mariah needs a lot of training and rehearsing plus a vocal coach and a whole new team working with her. If she's going to have any surgery, go and operate from nodules. Mara I agree with you. She looks gorgeous in the "Someday" video. The more natural and casual, the more beautiful she looks. I'm hoping for a big comeback. She will bring new and good music. Oscars (50,363) by Warren from Trinidad & Tobago I can't help but comment on Lady Gaga's performance last night at the Oscars. After the "disasters" that were her public image and then album Artpop (not a disaster musically by any stretch) she has taken a totally different approach and man has it worked. Mariah needs to take note of this. It can be done and Mariah more than has the talent to do it. Gaga has been trending worldwide non-stop after her tribute performance, mainly because of her vocals. People already know Mariah can sing, but it's her voice that has been under fire recently, a live performance with that kind of audience will do wonders. Gaga, also, despite being in her twenties has totally changed her image and covered up, so people can't help but to listen to what she has been doing with Tony Bennett and then last night. I see women all the time walking around with their eyebrows shaved off and they have penciled in these fake weird looking eyebrows. Please just leave your eyebrows alone and appreciate the natural beauty. Sure a little grooming/plucking is fine, but it really is a bad idea to go with trends. Who cares about stupid trends? (Egomania is known as an obsessive preoccupation with one's self and applies to someone who follows their own ungoverned impulses and is possessed by delusions of personal greatness and feels a lack of appreciation. Someone suffering from this extreme egocentric focus is an egomaniac.) "The Truth" seems to enjoy accusing others for things that more truthfully describe them. Eyebrows (50,358) by Mara from United States I just wanted to chime in on this random topic. I too love Mariah with the fuller eyebrows. It gives her a very sexy exotic look only she can pull off with her beautiful nationalities. Someday video look is my fav, but I also absolutely love her look in The Roof video with the red jacket and jeans on. There is something about Mariah with darker brows and eye makeup, her look in this video always gave me a young Natalie Wood vibe. Also the Honey remix video is a good example as well. Something possessed me to watch the Someday video and I was like they look good. I feel like the trend for eyebrows has been thicker the last few years, like it was back then. I've even been keeping mine thicker, although they need to be cleaned up lol. Sometimes I tell people I'd want my unibrow back and they think I'm nuts, but it doesn't grow back. But enough about me, did you notice that during the beginning of Emancipation she barely had any, like in the first couple videos that were shot? I was like, um where are her eyebrows lol? Mariah 25.0 (50,351) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End I really want a new Mariah documentary. I could care less about any "sit down" interviews with Barbara, Oprah or Diane. They will shade her just for ratings. But an HBO documentary or mini series about her in any shape or form would be stellar. Mariah is at her best when she can be herself anyway, unfiltered. It's something I wish Musical icons like MJ and Whitney had done to make sure they are on record addressing all that goes along with being a living legend on their own terms. It could be cathartic for her if done right. Give her a reason to reflect over the dichotomy that is her life so she can regroup. I'd pay good money for that DVD. A film or miniseries is much more timely than a book as she is only 44 years old. Either way, I'm happy she isn't courting the press, she obviously doesn't need to. It has been mentioned that she is recording songs for the #1's reissue but she doesn't talk about it. We don't see paparazzi shots of her out and about, her Twitter is pretty calm, it's like she is determined to stay discreet at the moment. Makes me wonder what she is up to? Planning her next big move with L.A. Reid? A huge comeback? Surprises? I am quite excited. I mean the last time she announced she is working on an album (which she worked on for like forever) she kept bombarding us with pictures of her in the studio, outside the studio, in her makeshif studio, and what not basically letting is know she is recording. But now she is suddenly all quiet. I also wonder what happened to the song or remix she did with Morales during MIAM era. I mean Morales confirmed they were recording. Plus she clearly recorded stuff right after the release of MIAM, because she tweeted photos outside her studio with a caption that goes something like "the recording doesn't stop" or whatever. She is bound to have a lot of songs she didn't include in MIAM. But will those see te light of the day? Mariah, you are being deliciously elusive, but I am willing to wait. Tobby / Without You (50,344) by Bill from the UK I agree with you Tobby about Without You. Being from the UK, I always consider it a #1, and was glad it was included on the UK release of the first #1's album. I wonder if she will include it for the update. It was a huge success across all of Europe actually, hitting the top spot in several countries, and really was what propelled her to stardom on this continent. It's quite a significant landmark in her career from an International perspective, as it helped break her in many new territories, so it would be great if it was featured on the updated album, again, even as a bonus track would be great. Booty / body / Honey (50,342) by Lee TS from USA I think most of the booty comments were just for laughs. What I do need M to do is get her body together and snatched for the gods. Lol. Yes, like some suggested maybe hire Patricia from St. Barts who weighs 2 lbs soaked and wet that can whip M into shape. I don't need her to be Touch My Body skinny because that's probably her most thinnest frame since the debut era. I loved her body during Charmbracelet era when she was fit, toned, and shapely. Then she needs to take those paparazzi bikini shots of herself with a splash in one hand frolicking on the beach with one of the pups, remember those? Or on a yacht, whatever style of living it up she chooses. I want her to feel juicy and sexy again, and make Nick eat his heart out haha. I would love to hear Honey in a torch-like style where she's crying for desperation. It had me thinking how cool it would've been if she did that for 50 Shades of Grey. I thought it was genius of Beyonce to revamp Crazy In Love to fit the movie and it worked incredibly well. (Sunday 22 February 2015; 18:56)

#1's and Mariah's next studio album (50,339) by B from USA Mariah Carey will take her heartbreak and turn it into Gold and Platinum. Her last divorce inspired her to write the lyrical and musical masterpiece that is Butterfly. Is it just me or does it seem like Mariah Carey seems to write her best music when she's hurting? Charmbracelet and MIAMTEC both will one day be regarded as defining releases from Miss Carey. Her lyrics are genius on both of these underrated albums. I love that she made the critics, who wrote her off after the underwhelming Triumphant, eat their words with #Beautiful. She sounded so confident and it wasn't just another cut and paste "duet".
